Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Large rooms in quite American style. Location quite central to university. The best thing was the excellent breakfast buffet with a wealth of Asian food, but also western standards. I can highly recommend this hotel.
Nice, modern Holiday Inn located on the outskirts of Beijing. Chose the hotel primary for it location to the university that my daughter is attending. Our room on the executive level was nice, but quite cramped with the extra bed for my son. Hotel staff was amazing whether helping us order dinner or bringing us extra pillows. Very few English speaking staff, but we were able to get by. Only problem we had was fellow guest not following on the no smoking policy on our floor. Reported it twice, but offenders kept smoking.
I stayed in this hotel for five nights in September. The Holiday Inn turned out to be very nice. Rooms are spacious and beds are great. The hotel staff was very helpful. Breakfast (included in our rate) turned out to be spectacular.
Hotel is very good and is located on the outskirt of Beijing. Hotel has very good service and the most stand out is the care taken by their employees. Being a vegetarian the breakfast options are very limited and I never had lunch or dinner here .The cost is really expensive , so would suggest to go out for having food. Most Indians prefer this hotel as the hotel has one Indian restaurant.
Great hotel, great service with lots of amenities. Some English spoken. Comfortable beds and provides complimentary bottles of drinking water every day, which is awesome as you can’t drink the tap water.
From the constant work with the concierge to arrange offsite trips to the Great Wall, Forbidden City, etc. to the wait staff at the breakfast buffet working diligently to make the PERFECT Café Latte, these folks understand service. I needed an extra converter and called the front desk - they sent a gal who came to the room 3 times to try to help. While I ultimately didn't get what I needed, she came back a 4th time just to give me a note in English that said she was sorry but didn't have what I needed - WHO DOES THAT anymore? The rooms are not smoke-smelling, they are very clean and extremely comfortable and the amenities are great. The ONLY negative I could find is that the hotel sits on a very busy street that during "rush hours" (which is a lot of the time) that can add a LOT of time to a commute. Another word about the breakfast buffet - so many choices from exotic to "comfort food" - be sure to take a couple of apples for the road - Tasty!
This hotel have nice bedrooms. Clean and modern with all the amenities needed. The gym is well equipped with a pool on the side. The breakfast is great with a large selection of Chinese food and no Chinese food.
My husband and I were visiting our daughter who attends Tsinghua University and this hotel was recommended to us as it is close the the campus. Very nice hotel and accommodating staff. We stayed in total 4 nights at the establishment and the staff and accommodations could not have been nicer. The bellman are very helpful in getting taxi for you and telling th driver where to take you which is a real benefit as most do not speak english and I do not speak mandarin. The breakfast buffet is very good - quite a variety of choices! We will return to stay for a few days next year when our daughter graduates. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice facility close to the campus.
I travel a few times a year to China, though mainly to Shanghai. I have grown accustomed to less than ideal hotels. Often smell smokey, look deteriorated, etc. The Holiday Inn was a refreshing change. The room was large, the staff were very friendly, and the location was perfect for our meetings. I would not hesitate to stay here again. My only negative was that the mini-bar refrigerator was not cold and smelled quite foul, I am guessing something went wrong with it.... other than that, everything was good.
I stayed here in mid-Aug17 on a business trip, and guess what this hotel is not only good but also has an Indian restaurant, some Indian employees who help you bridge the cultural gap. And the biggest plus is it is very close to a Fully Vegetarian authentic Chinese restaurant.
