I spent several days at this hotel and it was a good stay, The hotel is modern and clean, the restaurants are good, Internet works nicely and breakfast is good. I will for sure consider this hotel for future stays in Beijing
Just a normal hotel, nothing to complain. Bathtub in the room. Internet in China highly difficult (Whatsapp blocked, Google blocked). Breakfast was average. Saturday morning 7am it takes by taxi 30min to the airport for 150 Yuan. All in all good to stay for a few days in Beijing.
I was a guest in this hotel from Oct 26 to Oct 29, 2017. The hotel is quite in line with the overall features of this big US hotel chain. As so, it offers something important to non-Asian guests which is the West-world style breakfast, with very satisfactory choices, instead of only Asian style breakfast, which may not be so tasty for foreigners. On the other hand, I was disappointed to hear from the front-desk that the air conditioner was not working - but not because it was out of order, rather, it was simply because the hotel decided not to allow guests to turn it on. And the temperature in my room was not particularly pleasant... Aside from this, good room size, easy reach location, and good amenities and bathroom features. Very convenient to subway station and close to some restaurants, and to a small mall but with a good grocery store with a nice list of supplies.
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was nice. Hotel was located in financial streets which is convenient if you have a meeting in this area for affordable hotel. The hotel is close to subway station and there are some restaurants nearby. The staff has language constraint but I used translator app so it still worked out for some thing otherwise you might get lost. :) I would recommend this hotel for those to visit Beijing.
While I initially planned to stay at a more upscale (and much more expensive) hotel nearby, but decided to stay here because it was less than half the price. I wasn't disappointed Not only was my room nicely appointed, but the breakfast buffet provided a nice start to the day. The staff was very helpful and attentive. No, it's not a 5-star hotel. But neither is the price. And the hotel is situated a short 5-minute walk from the Fuchengmen Subway Station, which made getting to most places in Beijing very convenient. The next time I have meetings near the financial district, this is probably where I'll return.
Hotel check in good super helpful staff good rooms good location good service .coming to beijing is like coming home and i am a westerner .will be back to stay at holiday in again Thankyou all at the holiday inn.
We had two rooms at this hotel started on 12 May through the 15th. The staff were very pleasant although it was sometimes difficult to communicate with the front desk staff due to language barrier. I rented club rooms but was told the club areas were not available. We had breakfast in the main area and happy hour was provided off the menu and this was very nice. My biggest complaint is the bathroom in the rooms. The toilet is way too close to the vanity and the privacy blinds are both outdated and in need of repair. The rooms were nice and well equipped but if there was going to be money for remodeling, I would strongly suggest revamping the bathrooms. As we had a tour guide who showed us around Beijing, I think it is time to graduate to other hotels and away from the Holiday Inn brand, especially in the Beijing area. However, it was a good value and overall a good experience.
The Hotel is in a perfect position, in the first ring and 3 minutes to the subway station. The breakfast is excellent, the rooms are very clean and nice and the price is reasonable. I have to spend some good words about the staff. The manager, the trainees (Chinese and Indonesian young people), the waitresses, the concierge, the head of security....they are fantastic: kind, thoughtful, reliable, good English-speakers!! (Not common in China). They have been available in trying to satisfy all our needs. If you have to go in Beijing, this is the Hotel for you!
The hotel is close to subway station in downtown Beijing and has lots of restaurant, shops close by. Besides the convenient location, the service in the hotel is good, the breakfast has a very good spread, and the rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi. Overall the rooms are clean and staff are ready to help.
This is my third time staying at this hotel. Each time, I am reminded how convenient this hotel's location is. It is located in downtown Beijing, within 3 minutes walk from Fuchenmen subway station, and it takes less then 15 minutes to get to Tienanmen Square. Nearby, there are many outstanding restaurant and shopping establishment, with many variety to choose from. The staff members are fantastic. The front desk staff are always eager to help, and housekeeping staff consistently does a meticulous job with room cleaning. The entire hotel is beautifully maintained, not a sign of its age. As a Platinum Elite, my loyalty is rewarded with room upgrades, free beverages and snacks during daily happy hour, etc. When a hotel is wonderful and functional in every respect, why stay anywhere else when visiting Beijing?!
