This was my second visit to this hotel. It is very clean and is in a good location. They have added a scenic area between towers A and B. And are constructing another scenic area to entrance A. My wife and I will be back in a few years and will be staying there again. Great hotel!
My wife and I stayed on the 11th floor of this hotel a few days ago and were not disappointed about my choice. The price was very reasonable (cheaper than comparable hotels here in the States). It's best asset is it's location. It is a few blocks away from the Tiannanmen Square and the Forbidden City (about 10-15 mins walk). There are eating places nearby along with a small mall about 5 mins. away. The hotel is fine. It appears to be more than a few years old but in very good condition and clean. We had no complaints other than the room being too warm that we had to open the windows. There are restaurants in the building along with an ATM in the lobby. I would stay there again.
There is no complementary breakfast that we were directed to only an expensive buffet. The buffet was nice but we got the same buffet breakfast at another (much less expensive) hotel for free. The hot water did not work for half of a day. They had to come in my room late at night to finally fix the problem. I picked this hotel because of the Gym. The Gym equipment is old, very used and broken. The hotel appears to be in good shape and very clean but I found that to be the case with all the hotels I stayed in while in China. Not worth the money. there are much less expensive hotels that have the same or better amenities.
Business trip. Exceeded expectations. Very nice place to say when visiting Beijing.
large and clean room at a very good location, service is good.
great location. safe and secure. not super clean. wifi didn't work so well. Just good enough.
Nice enough for a great Tienamen Square Location, but an older property, nice area easy to get around in. The gift shop has some fairly good deals (tea sets).
The staff was very helpful and accommodating. My wife and I spent 3 weeks in China. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and they have some of the best English speaking staff members. The rooms are very nice and the hotel is in a great location for visiting the big tourist attractions. My only negative comment is how expensive the food in the lobby bar is. I expected it to be a bit pricey compared to the restaurants we visited in the city but the price difference was ridiculous. Other then that a great place to stay while visiting the heart of Beijing.
Hotel is in a great location, close to famous city sightseeing places. Rooms are clean. However, be ready to be not understood by the hotel staff. They all say that they speak "little english", but this statement is overrated since they hardly speak any English, which gets quite annoying. If you stay in the European or western brand hotel, you will get a better chance to communicate your needs.
The front desk staff were attentive and helpful to my needs during my stay. The room was clean and mattress is very comfy on Tower A , 2 free bottled water /day, but room temperature feels warm coz on every china hotel, they are in energy saver. I used the indoor pool and it was nice and clean, My room fee did not include breakfast, and I did not try their restaurant. The bellboy and the staff outside calling for taxi were excellent and professional. The hotel location is 20 min walk to Tian'anmen Sqaure/FC and 30 min walk to Wangfujing, In front of the hotel, there's a nice restaurant where local people dine. I 'd highly recommend this hotel to others and definitely would stay here again.
This was the second hotel I booked in Beijing. It was nice and set up for foreigners. I didn't take advantage of anything other than the free wifi in the room. The room was a good size with a window facing the street. The staff was friendly and did speak English.
I was upgraded to a deluxe room. It was very comfortable. The room was large, the bed was comfortable. The service was great. The room was slightly dated but they are currently undergoing renovations. The gym facilities are very limited. Overall, for the price paid, it was definitely a worthwhile stay.
check-in check-out are not very convenient, room is ok but definitely not a 5 star room, more like a 4 star. but the price was very competitive, so still worth the money.
You can walk to several tourist locations from this hotel. Unfortunately there is a sewer smell in most of the restrooms.
We enjoyed the hotel and our time in Beijing. The value was great.
First of all, this hotel was a great deal for what you get. Not very fancy, but clean and simple. Also located within walking distance to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. The only downside was that the wifi could be a little slow and spotty. The plus side is that they did have free wifi!
Very nice room, close to subway, close to shopping and sightseeing. The carpets were not 5 star clean. The pool is ok, not 5 star great. For the price, it is the best value with a pool in central Beijing. Nice bathtub and very comfortable place to stay with a family.
This hotel seems dated and the beds are not very comfortable. There seems to be a much needed renovation starting next month so hope all will improve. Wireless internet connection is very poor and the pay version is only for wire, which won't do much for some of the newer devices that relies only on WIFI.
Overall good - great location, but a but pricey as far are hotels in China are concerned
Very fine hotel, great services, friendly close to everywhere.
