The hotel is in an excellent and convenient location, close to many popular attractions, trendy shopping malls, and traditional Beijing residential areas. The staff are exceptionally helpful and went the extra mile to ensure all our needs were fully met. I would especially like to mention Mr. 宋大明 (Mr. Song Daming). As foreigners, we had difficulty booking tickets to some museums, but Mr. Song patiently helped us plan our visits and made the bookings with us. If you like hard beds, this is the hotel for you!

The bed was so hard I was tempted to sleep on the sofa. I ended up using the extra pillows as a makeshift “mattress” just to be able to sleep. Otherwise, the room I had was spacious and clean. There were strange noises, almost like loud banging in the pipes in the mornings and evenings, but only for short periods. If you’re sensitive to noise, it might be a good idea to request a room located away from the main pipes. Very friendly staff, who spoke barely any English, but with translation apps, it’s no problem at all. The location is great, with shopping centers nearby, and with a Starbucks right outside, your morning coffee is saved ;)
