Beijing Marriott Hotel Northeast5.0 out of 5.0

Hotel staff is excellent and hard working but the facilities are very poor for a 5 Star Marriott. The Room furniture is scratched up, the exercise room on 5th floor is under renovation with a temporary facility out in the court yard. The restaurants are quite good. The rooms tend to be poorly lit as well.
Damaged electric outlets, torn furniture, older or uncared for rooms in general. Hotel manager after second bad room finally said he’ll give me a good room. It was. Staff was helpful. I paid the high dollar because it was Marriott. Was overall fine but not worth the Marriott price.
Even I was in Beijing several times, it was the first time I stood in the Beijing Marriott Northeast. The hotel is to recommend, supportive whenever there is any customer wish. I just had one concern which was not really to be solved - there was no working air condition which caused a permanent temperature of 25 degree Celsius in the room... even the hotel supported with a fan, the temperature did not really changed.
the hotel offers the typical 5 star amenities, luxury rooms, comfy beds etc. the service was perfect. there is a nice club lounge in 25 th street with good views. the hotel is situated near the embassy area and caters more for business travelers than tourists it seems, as it is a bit away from areas of touristic interest.
Stayed there 4 nights. The room was comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Breakfast provided a nice variety and the fresh orange juice machine is fantastic! Internet is fast, the speed allows you to work comfortable. The staff is very welcoming and assist as much as possible. It was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend it for business trips. It is close to the US Embassy, if pollution is not bad it is a nice area for a walk.
It was my first time staying at Beijing Marriott North East and i liked this hotel. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable to stay. Beautiful view and good location. Thanks for a nice and memorable staycasion for my family.
Another wonderful stay at the Beijing Marriott North East, Janna in the executive lounge was very helpful and amended my booking with great efficiency, always greets the guests with a lovely smile and nothing is too much trouble! Will return when next on business in Beijing as the service throughout is always excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is a very nice hotel. My first time staying here. I would say this is one of the best hotels in Beijing. The staff in the lounge are very friendly and helpful, especially Julia., who were very thoughtful and considerate. Will definitely stay again.
The Marriott is a decent business hotel with solid service. Rooms are acceptable, but dark, and the property is starting to look a little bit tired. Location: This Marriott is in the Liangmaqiao neighborhood, about a 5-10 minute walk from the French, American, Malaysian, South Korean, Japanese, and other embassies. Liangmaqiao's Four Seasons and Westin hotels are in another section of the neighborhood, closer to the subway and the nearby Sanlitun area, which is popular with expatriates. The Marriott's location is fine, but to me is not in the most convenient part of Liangmaqiao. The hotel seems to cater to business travelers, and isn't especially well-located for tourists. Service: Staff members are professional, friendly, and helpful. Check-in and check-out are handled quickly, and those services are available in the executive lounge for those staying on the executive floor. WiFi isn't great - but that's typical in many places in China. Rooms: Rooms are comfortable, but are starting to show their age. The property could use a refresh. The rooms are also extremely dark. Amenities: I didn't have a chance to use the gym. There's an above-average Indian restaurant in the hotel, and a Starbucks on the ground level. Overall, the Marriott is a solid choice if you have business in the area.
I strongly advise to choose this hotel. I have been staying in an Executive Deluxe room, that was more than comfortable - and more quiet than some other hotels in Beijing. The services provided by this hotel are extraordinary: the capsule coffee in the room was a great surprise, a huge standalone bathtub was pretty enjoyable, the 2 saunas are operational (and warm) from early morning till late night, the number (and quality) of equipment inthe gym was really surprising, the variety of the breakfast is amazing - can make your 3 weeks stay diversified... The best part is the Executive Lounge, that I strongly request for anyone to upgrade to. The buffet style breakfast comes with a great variety and fantastic quality and the liquor offering is huge. One thing I can guarantee: Jessie and Julia will make sure you don't suffer from anything. They can prepare basically an infinite number of cocktails for your taste, they are very kind and thoughtful, and can fulfill your complex requests as well. I send my hones gratitude for the whole staff!
