Adequate budget motel. Clean bed and bathroom. This is not the Hilton :) We just stayed for one night before the Baton Rouge marathon. No regrets, I would gladly return. Our initial room did not have functioning heating, we promptly got a new room. Lobby attendant was helpful and polite. They appear ready for some serious remodeling, as there are piles of construction materials everywhere.

Room was neglected and so was rest of the hotel. Room heater did not work and exploded setting off the fire alarm. Only one attendant at the hotel and had to wait a long time for him to come up and move us to new room. Motel hallways reeked of marrijuana. Electronic key card was difficult to use with the sensors. Refrigerator in new room we were moved to didn’t work and had to be replaced when we moved into the room. Very stressful!!

Run down, very noisy air conditioner that kept us up most of the night. Lumpy bed, I’m not picky but it was the lumpiest bed I ever slept on. It was a cheap price, at least the sheets and towels were clean. A place for one night, it was okay but I didn’t realize red roof was getting so run down. Plus they used to offer breakfast. Coffee was available and it tasted pretty good.
