So knowing we were booked for 15 days, they upgraded us to a "suite" on same floor. Room was dirty. Carpet old, worn and literally sticky. Sheets and towels stained and/or cigarette burned. Nonsmoking hotel but halls filled with smoke. One day was marijuana flooding in thru our bathroom fan. In 2weeks, bed not changed. Had to ask for towels and soap. Free breakfast was coffee with grounds in it, cold eggs, stale biscuits and cereal with unrefrigerated milk.
We had limited interaction with the staff, but they seemed pleasant enough. However, the room itself smelled like a combination of vomit and cigarettes. The bathroom was relatively clean (though it also stank) but the toilet and sink were in poor condition. We only stayed for a single night, but the morning before we left, I found a large cockaroach. When I reported this to the woman at the front desk on our way out, she seemed unconcerned. Will never be staying at this hotel again.
Awesome staff. Very convenient location. Awesome price. Comfortable.
The hotel staff was nice, well I'll say the front desk guy. The mad cleaned the room adequately but did not give enough towels. The hair dryer literally was broken. The lounge seat by A/C was stained badly.
The hotel room and accommodations were excellent for the price. We needed to leave by 3:30 AM so we are not able to evaluate the continental breakfast. The desk clerks were competent and courteous.
Good location, quiet inside and out, rooms clean and orderly. Good breakfast, coffee and fruit.
Love the front desk personnel! The continental breakfast could be better is the ONLY drawback I see.
For just an overnight, it was good! The bathroom needed work, but it was quiet and close to stores. The front desk was very pleasant at night and in the morning. The continental breakfast was as expected. I would visit again.
Enjoyed my stay housekeeping was on point and the room was very comfortable.
Switched rooms 3 times first one the door was opened and it smelled of smoke the second one no a/c and a filthy restroom the last one I just stayed in I got tired of going to the front desk
It took us a long time to get through traffic, but we found the location was great for our needs!
The staff was friendly. The hotel is a little old and in need of some TLC in the rooms. The area was better after we got some time to look around for eating places. All in all not a bad place to stay while working in Baton Rouge.
The hotel staff was nice. The bed was very low to the ground and there was no comforter and the top sheet had a yellow stain. We got a new sheet immediately though and the fitted sheet and pillows were fine. The floor was a bit dirty in the room but the room was so cheap that it was expected. I didn't see a single roach in the room which made me happy! There was lots of tv channels to watch and the breakfast the next morning was a lot more stuff than I had expected. The location is also good, just under 3 miles from Corporate where the good restaurants are. I would recommend this place to someone looking for a cheap room with no bugs just check the sheets before you lay down. We didn't visit the pool.
Its was great customer service was good close to alot and for kids excellent location
Stayed there overnight for business...Perfect for what I needed! Great location! Only complaint was the hallways were stuffy. Great breakfast! Reasonably priced!!!
This wasn' t my first first choice in hotels, but on Bayou Country Superfest weekend pickings were slim even in early December when I made reservations for May. I made what I could find. My only complaint really was the smell of the room. It was musky and stale smelling. When I first opened the door, I thought it was a joking room.
The room smelled when we 1st entered it. Found out it was the bathroom. We asked the staff for another room but there wasn't any available so they just re-cleaned ours. They didn't do a great job because we had to close the bathroom door so the whole room wouldn't smell. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again and I don't recommend anyone else too
The overall trip was beautiful especially being that it was Valentines Weekend.
It was ok but the nonsmoking room had an smoke odor.
tiny room, sagging bed, no sink stopper, no ash tray in smoking room, remote with dead batteries, only one set of towels, chair raggedy, elevator slow, continental breakfast without freshfruit third floor ice machine broken. nevertheless safe and secure. would not stay again.
