Non smoking room smelled like smoking room. All towels were stained. No toiletries. No closet, iron, clock, or ironing board. Pillows were also gross. All online five star reviews on google are fake. Paid for I guess? Don’t stay here.
Room was horrible! I guess you get what you pay for our towels were still dirty with stains! Bed had cigarette burns! The walls were so dirty ! The bathroom was filthy with holes in the wall! I’m so disappointed ☹️ came in town to bury my moms and had to experience this due to last minute booking! Also our room smelled like a over crowded bar room full of smokers
This hotel was an affordable option for us traveling with two small dogs at no additional cost!. The roku s were quite large (we 2 queen beds), the floors are completely tiled, the beds platform style! The mattress was a medium type/foam& inter spring type. Similar to the one I own. Mine is a "bed in a box type" and has no foundation. My dog loved sleeping on the cool floor under the platform bed. The pillows are soft but not full(.actually quite small. ) Nice size tv with plenty of cable channels. A refrigerator and microwave. Both clean inside. The room was clean. Rhe floors and baseboards as well. The bathroom is small but looks to have an updated shower, tub, and sink as they were very clean with no sign of mold or mildew. The one downfall of the room was as clean as it was it "looked dirty" due to the walls needing a paint job. The baseboard looked dirty but on further Inspection wS just dark colored grout from the new base boards. The motel area is very good as far as nearby restaurants etc. Theres a starbucks, chiliz, burger king, McDonalds, several gas stations etc directly on this road. Easy access to I 12. The hotel was very quite, seemed safe, and clean outside. No sign of any bugs or infestations. They do have a pool. The agents in the office were friendly upon arrival.
I was not expecting this to be a fantastic hotel in that fact by what a paid for it a night. But it would have been nice if the non smoking room would have actually been non smoking. The sheets had cigarette holes all in them and there were bugs all in the bathroom. I feel bad for people who this is their only way to travel is to stay somewhere like this.
For the price it was a good nights stay. Came in for a family reunion had a few drinks so we decided to stay the night. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Overall if we come back I’d stay again. The price was also very reasonable.
The Good! - front desk staff was friendly (but incapable of help). The television, sink, and mattresses appeared to be brand new. They are military and dog friendly. The Bad! - The bathtub lacked a tub stopper and front desk told me to stuff the drain with a wash cloth because maintenance was unavailable. The Cox cable box was mounted behind the TV, so I had to stand up and point the remote behind the TV. The Terrible! - I killed 5 roaches, but saw more. There are holes in the walls. The electrical outlets were hanging outside the wall. The room was filthy. The walls and doors were covered in smudges and dirt. There was body hair on the bed and inside the shower. My family wouldn't walk on the filthy floor barefoot. Partly my fault.. I arrived tired and only reported the tub stopper problem. I didn't report the dirty room because I had zero confidence in an available clean room and I didn't want to relocate my tired family. I did report the roaches in the morning prior to check out. Front desk said someone would spray to kill them.
We were told we couldnt preview room. We were tired and took a chance on owners word that it had recently been renovated since recent floods. Wouldnt stay there again. If for no other reason, his seemingly lack of honest business practices. We were told if we couldnt climb stairs with our luggage we would lose our travelocity reservation. (We saved $12) It was not completely furnished. Extremely noisy neighbors. No soap, shampoo, or hair dryer. Flimsy door lock, hence, the chair at door. Ending on a positive note: while pillows were horrid, bed was comfortable.
Read the reviews of this place too late. Building is falling apart. Stayed here because they were dog friendly. Even the dog didn't want to touch the carpet. When we complained about the door being kicked in, the front desk attendant was not responsive.
I wouldn't let my kids take their shoes off. The carpet was the nastiest I have ever ever seen. The sheets were not fitted, the pillows were small and the walls were patched terribly and needed paint. The bathroom was disgusting and it smelled musty and gross. I've stayed at Motel 6 many times and It 's certainly no frills but that is no excuse to be disgusting. All we needed was a place to sleep and it was hard to do.
Booked through Priceline while traveling home to Florida and booked because of price and location just to rest out head for a couple of hours. Blood was found on the couch, smelled like a musky smoky bar, blood on the mattress, no fitted sheets covering the disgusting mattress just a sheet laid over the mess. Old and disgusting. We informed the front desk clerk (that we could hardly understand what he was saying) that we were tired and just wanted a decent room, the clerk said that none were decent at his hotel and he said he would just give us a complete credit. If you want to catch something that soap can wash off, this is the hotel for you. Horrible!!!!!
