The only issue was that the hotel was being renovated during our stay; hard to find & a bit noisy.

The location is great, the staff also. The air condition to low and the refrigerator need to be change. Barcelona is a great place to go.
Extremely close to train station and in next to vibrant neighborhood. Room was excellent. Would definitely book here again.

Great location. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Easy and smooth check in and check out. Staff was very helful and responsive to our needs which were anyway few. Room was decent size, very clean , bright and had a wonderful view. We'd love to stay there again.
From the super greeting, advice, and service of Marta Arsenio, fantastic guidance regarding hotel amenities and local travel from Alex Codina, to the cordiality and conversation in the first floor bar from Alejandra Jimenez and Juan Braunstein (and fantastic service from Juan's sister in the restaurant), we had an awesome time in the Gran Torres Hotel Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain. The hotel, itself, was beautiful, comfortable and well equipped with an awesome 23rd floor restaurant serving delectable breakfasts and dinner at 8:00 for those of us who enjoy views of the city by night. Thank you for making our visit to Barcelona so enjoyable!
Stayed for 5 nights. Felt immediately welcome as soon as I walked into the door. Monserrat was able to get me a room earlier than the normal Check in time, as my flight arrived early in the morning. The hotel is across the street from the Sants Estacio train station. Do yourself a favor and download the Barcelona Train app, which will help you navigate the city efortlessly.
Greet staff, very helpful with directions and places of interest.great view from the 10th floor. Awesome breakfast each morning very fresh fruits and bread. Best service I had on vacation will definitely come back to the same hotel.
Close to Central Train Station so getting from Airport to City Centrt a breeze. Metro stop right down the street. Staff were all super-especially Carlos at front desk, who was super friendly and offered so many great tips and suggestions!
Thought the hotel met most of our standards. Would say it is more on the side of a 3 star rather than 4 star hotel, but none the less was clean and easily assessed. Not necessarily in the center of the city but easily assessed by metro. Pros: Right by Sants Estacio metro station, spacious rooms, if higher floor have a nice view of city, internet was fast, bathroom had separate bath and shower, ice machines on every floor. Cons: Lower floors facing Expo Hotel have view of parking lot (not a nice view at all, just keep your drapes closed!), have only 1 free bottle of water for entire stay (this level of hotel should give a free bottle of water daily, however not a big deal), top floor restaurant very expensive, housekeeping could be more thorough.
Enjoyed our stay very much. However, there is room for improvement. The staff are courteous and helpful. However, needs improvement in English skills. Pillows in room were too soft, need also to provide hard pillows. The Gym needs more space and machines to enable a few people exercise at the same time. The hotel is in a safe and quiet locality. The metro being close by to the hotel is useful and convenient. We were able to have some rest and a break before the evening program. Special appreciation to the staff at the Information desk upstairs. They were patient and understanding with their explanations on places to visit with clear instructions. They had the necessary PR and English language skills always cheerful and ready to help.
Amazing hotel stay. I even got an upgrade since the room I booked online wasn't available. Def look forward to staying there again.
Hotel location was across from train station and within walking distance of some tourist sites. Room was upgraded, but shower had a problem which couldn't be fixed. New room was offered. Ice machine didn't work. TV had limited English language channels. No real nightlife around the hotel. Would I stay again yes because of location to train station and price.

We did not use wi-fi, so please ignore that rating. We wanted to stay near the train station for convenience to and from Barcelona and to be near the Metro. We felt the restaurant prices are high, especially for the breakfast buffet. A slight discount is offered provided one commits to eating breakfast every morning. It is a short walk to the Las Arenas area with many restaurants.
