I stayed here for 3 nights with my mum and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The free welcome drink at the bar was a lovely surprise & the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was not the best I’ve had but I can’t complain - it did the job. It was also very easy to get into the city centre and to get around. I would return to this hotel.
We booked superior room for two. It was really nice, quiet and spacious. Breakfast was really good, everything from sweet pastry, fruits, cereals, variety of cheese and hams, eggs, joghurts, good coffee and friendly staff.
A short walk from Lesseps Metro Station (turn left, Cross the road, go past the library and kids play area with the entry point adjacent to a car park) led us to a lovely welcome from the reception staff on arrival, We were given room 108, ground floor which has a smashing bathroom and good sized bedroom, half a dozen hangers for your clothing, a tv with a couple of English channels, tea making facilities (but no milk) and a couple of bottles of water. Reception provided us with a couple of maps and directions and were lovely. We didn’t book breakfast but walked in anyway and after the usual (room number please/you haven’t paid for b&b/do you want to pay now or charge the room/please sign here) we were seated and had a good choice of cereals/continental/cooked breakfast/juices & hot drinks - well worth the 12Euros each as you can return to the self serve as many times as you want. Reception looked after our cases on the last day and wished us well for our homeward journey, we will return here.
This hotel is well placed and is easy to get from the airport by metro, but when we first arrived, the receptionist was not the most friendly, but during our check in another receptionist took over and she was more than helpful. We ate at the restaurant as it was late, due to a delayed flight, and the staff were friendly, the food good and the price very competitive, given it was in the hotel. Because of this we ate several times during our stay. The room was well presented, the bed was huge, and the bathroom was also good, but there was not enough pressure in the shower (but that was nobody's fault) The only 'down side' was that it was always late when the room was cleaned. Arriving back between 4.30pm and 5pm having been out all day, and wanting to rest before going out again, to find the room had not been cleaned or that the cleaner was still cleaning was not good. Also, we had to ask for tea/ coffee to be replenished, and we only had a bottle of water when we first arrived, when normally it is standard practice to give water each day. But there was a small fridge in the room, which was good to have drinks and even milk in. The hotel is near some supermarkets, if you want to get bits and pieces, but one of the best things is that the hotel is very near to Metro, but also on several bus routes, which can take you to several different points of the city. Some of the main areas of the city, although not near, but easily walkable if you are able. All in all I would recommend this hotel if you visit Barcelona.
Very helpful staff. Good location. Room enormous and lovely huge bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Reception staff were extremely helpful. Breakast was really good - plenty of choice, but toaster was rather slow! Good choice of beer at the bar and were offered free snacks with our drinks. Close to bus stops and the metro station giving easy access to the centre of Barcelona. Very close to park güell! Which was abdolutely beautiful! Would definitely stay again!!
Hotel is very near to Park Güell, within couple of minutes of walk. The metro station is around five minutes away. The receptionists aren’t so willing to communicate. Breakfast is ok and ordinary. Rooms are big and clean, but the view of the room was terrible, because it was between buildings and then it’s very dark. In that streets are a couple of small restaurants with not so much choice of food. There is a market right across the street. Overall, it’s a good choice.
I stayed for 1 night. From the minute we entered the hotel there was a feeling that the desk clerk did not want to work and is doing us a favor for staying in the hotel. We asked for directions and trains schedule and the clerk told us search the internet. Also we asked for a bed room with separate beds and got a tween bed which we needed to separate. The good things are hotel's location and big room.
The hotel is very clean and the rooms nice. Staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was good and hot food changed every day. It is a bit out of the centre but close to the metro station that goes to La Ramblas and Camp Nou. Would stay here again.
We checked into this ‘non-smoking’ hotel and everything appeared fine until we entered our room and the smoke smell was repulsive. The front desk staff promptly denied there was a problem, and then said they could not give us another room because the hotel was sold out. This was obviously a lie; plus the reception would not refund us our paid hotel stay so that we could look for another non-smoking hotel. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
The location of this hotel was great and only five minutes walk to the metro and the hotel was ideal for walking to Park Güell. The breakfast was suffice, cold and hot food served. The room was well furnished and clean, shampoo, body wash and a bar of soap was provided. When we got to the hotel we did have to pay a tax for visiting - a tourism tax that you have to pay in every hotel in Barcelona. Staff were happy to help and we didn’t have any problems. We would return.
