First of all, the service you receive in the reception is really great! They really appreciate you as guest. Whenever, we requested something to our room, they responded immediately. Secondly, the size of the room was clean and much bigger than expected, which was great. The bed were also really comfy. The ventilation system was good! Finally, it does not matter if you want to shop or go to tourist attractions, this hotel is located in the best possible way for both! Great hotel, really worth the money, even though there were no gym.
Amazing hotel with super comfortable beds! You can easily rest with the shutters closed and then enjoy the best shower! Very nice size room! Rooftop restaurant/bar. The best location - walking distance to everything!!!!!
This was a three night stay before joining a cruise in Barcelona. Due to the independence referendum disturbances in the country, transport and restaurants in town were limited which made us more reliant on the hotel facilities than usual. They did not let us down and they continued normal operation throughout. We had our dinner each evening in the excellent rooftop terrace bar which provides a limited menu but food well cooked, presented and served. This hotel is practical rather than luxurious, the rooms are quite small, there are almost no public rooms (lounges etc) but this is more than offset by the excellent position/location and the wonderful staff notably the ever helpful girls in reception and Arnold the concierge who gave us excellent personal service.
We had an amazing stay! The location is great, if you are looking to sleep close to the center (la rambla). The rooms are very clean and quiet, and the terrace has a great view of Barcelona and La Segrada Famila. The service is great, especially of the Reception staff and Arnold! he helped us with directions and had great recommendations! We are definitly going to visit again!
Brilliant time in the royal passeig de gracia . Felix on the roof bar was excellent. All the staff are fantastic and very helpful . Looking forward to coming back in 4 days .Roof top bar is a pleasure as ever
It was an amazing experience staying for one week in this lovely hotel ... Had our morning and afternoon coffee on the terrace of our room and passed every day before going out to dinner to their roof top terrace for a drink .. Walking distance to courtes ingles and Fnac and 20 min walk from Ramblas and the market bouqueria .. Garden outside the breakfast area was fantastic.. Very friendly staff especially the manager who was helpful and pleasant.. Will definitely visit again !!!
We have stayed in a number of hotels in Barcelona, so this was not our first trip, but it was our first visit to this hotel. The hotel was in a great central location, the rooms were a good size and very clean, everything was well cared for and well maintained. We didn't have breakfast as we prefer to go out and about for breakfast, so unable to comment on it, but we did have drinks on the roof, which was lovely. We didn't have a great deal of interaction with the staff, but found them very welcoming and helpful. The room was very quiet considering the location.
Me and my husband had a wonderful time staying in this hotel. There was something went wrong with my booking (my own mistake) and Ms. Julia from the reception was so helpful to fix the problem. Then She looked at my passport and realised that day was my birthday, she invited us to the gorgeous rooftop bar for birthday drinks by 2 free drink coupons. The hotel location was perfect, heart of the city, 1 minute walk to metro trains, Gaudi's monuments near by. The room is clean and comfortable. We basically get to everywhere by taxi which only cost us 5 - 8 euro. After a romantic traditional Spanish dinner, we got back to our room and I saw a big bunch of roses right after I opened the door. Again, Ms. Julia at the reception assisted my husband for this sweet surprise. I love Spain, the people in Spain was kind, I always believed the people are the one who make the country. I hope the flooding of tourists wouldn't change the mentality and value of the people in this amazing city. I feel like a second honey moon indeed and Ms. Julia, thank you for everything. Would definitely recommend friends to stay in this hotel.
Nice experience, I received an upgrade so my room was really big, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast good as it was offered at 1/2 price-9 euros, good value for the money. Location is perfect, Casa Milla is next to the hotel, as Casa Battlo. Stunning views from the upper terrace. Metro and train station with direct transportation from the airport, and direct train to Figueres- Dali Museum. Great for shopping. Lots of small terraces around-though the service might be slow....Tried the "El Nacional" for a great food experience and a great location.
