Stayed in this hotel with my partner for 4 nights whilst visiting Barcelona Amazing location for pretty much everything whether walking or wanting to catch the bus metro or tour bus Room was clean with fresh towels everyday. A kettle with tea and coffee that was replenished everyday. Lots of storage space too. Tv has no English channels (but who goes on holiday to watch tv anyway?!) Breakfast is really good served between 7 and 11 and is very varied. There was a pool but was a bit chilly to go for a dip in the middle of March! Staff were helpful and friendly too and helped to book us on a bus tour. A couple of downsides though Firstly on our first night here after showers we were getting ready for bed when the strongest smell of sewage came from the bathroom. We complained to the hotel staff and a cleaner came up to the room and put cleaner down all the sinks. Apparently this happens sometimes because of the drainage system is not that great when there has been lots of rain??? 🤔🤔🤔 we did get a whiff of bad drains on the other nights we stayed but was nowhere near as bad and did not last as long. The other thing was we were quite near the lifts and tgey make such a loud crash when they reach the destination level! I would have given this hotel full marks except for these 2 things. I'm sure it's something the hotel could look into to make it right Overall a really good stay 👍

This is by far one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The staff and service was an absolute scam. We were greated to the hotel by a rude receptionist that sniggered and looked down upon us as we arrived at the hotel. Moreover, the cleaning staff left our hotel room open while we were out discovering Barcelona. The staff did not care, were extremely rude towards us and took no responsibility for their wrongdoing. In addition, the manager of the hotel had no customer service skills and was unable to deal with our grievances. We had no other option but to seek a hotel that actually knew what they were doing. A majority disappointment, A highly uncabable, rude and incompetent staff to conclude. Avoid if possible.

On a very positive note probably the best shower I’ve ever had in a hotel. Ok this is a great hotel as far as it’s location cleanliness and most the staff were very helpful but people who travel need access to WIFI in their rooms, especially when you advertise it. We had NO working WiFi for our whole 4 days stay and it was extremely inconvenient, sort it out it’s 2018 and your customers won’t be back and we won’t be either. Had a very weird experience in the residence bar on our first night. Had been out for a meal and returned at 22:00 for a few quiet drink in the hotel bar (very expensive) had a drink and then reordered a second round at 22:50. Then this very large man who was the night porter told us we had to leave immediately in a very aggressive manner and shouted at the only other two customers, who were on the computer to get out too. We asked why? We we told the bar tender had to go home and we couldn’t be trusted as we might rob from the bar. Shocking attitude from that guy and the bar tender should of told us before excepting our order. We ended up finishing our drinks in the room. So if you don’t need a drink and you don’t need WiFi then this is the place for you but we’re not coming back.

The Lleo has many good points. The staff were pleasant and helpful including those in the breakfast room. Our room was large and a balcony was a bonus. The beds were comfortable and also adjustable. There was a safe which we felt was really useful. The whole hotel was neat and clean. The location is good. However, it had its faults, though I am sure many things could easily have been rectified. For example, there was no list of TV channels. The main TV was not working properly and we could not operate the heating. The bathroom was eccentric! There was a TV opposite the toilet. This one did work properly! The attractive double sink was a very strange shape and almost impossible to fill, or indeed to get hot water without a long wait. The shower was in need of an instruction manual but was spacious and clean. Too much design without regard to function! An extending mirror and a few hooks would have been obvious and relatively inexpensive necessities. The advantages far out weighed the short-comings and we would return to the Lleo.

We stayed here as a family. The location is ideal and our room was extremely clean and comfortable. Good wifi. The staff were friendly and even helped with an unusual request for help with printing in the middle of the night. We enjoyed the pool and the pool deck. The breakfast felt a little pricy but you get a large buffet and great drinks. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

From the moment we arrived til the moment we left the reception staff were friendly & helpful. Our room was spacious, comfortable bed & lovely decor. The bathroom was a good size with a Jacuzzi bath & mixer shower. The breakfast had a very good variety for all tastes. The hotel is on Carrer de Pelai which has Placa Catalunya at the end. Will definitely go am back to this hotel.

Excellent location - 250 yards from Playa de Catalunya and Los Ramblas - if you’re for the Nou Camp, the Metro station in the square is only 9 stops from the stadium. Friendly reception staff Clean and modern Great location and value for money

Very near to las rambles but very quiet due to the shutters and double glazing. Good clean rooms and bathrooms. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Bar within the hotel as well. We didn’t have breakfast but there is a fab little coffee shop opposite and a supermarket within a two minute walk. Didn’t use the pool as we visited in January

Well located for the centre, not expensive either. Went for a 40th birthday. 2 rooms sleeping 3 and all were happy with the beds. 40 minutes walk to CampNou stadium. 5 minutes to La Ramblas. Good facilities such as the rooftop pool and lounger area, decent bar and very very clean. Way better than I expected for the price 😀

This hotel is not the Ritz but it is a good, clean, comfortable and well-located place to stay for a few nights pre or post cruise while you explore Barcelona. It is within walking distance of La Rambla and near a metro. We would stay there again.
