Bathroom was so small that your knees hit the wall when you were sitting on the toilet. And trying to get into the shower was a joke because you had to pass the toilet--so if someone was there, you couldn't access the shower at all. And if no one was there, you had to go sideways to get past the toilet.

Affordable - rooms were cramped and the other guests were very loud (partying) in the middle of the night, so it was hard to get a good night sleep.

This hotel is extremely well located - just a few minutes walk from Las Ramblas, the market, a small supermarket and two metro stops. There are also two wonderful restaurants next door and across the street. The rooms are small but extremely clean . We are staying there again at the end of our trip and looking forward to returning.

It was a great location, not the nicest place to stay at thats for sure, our bathroom required a key across the hall, but we did enough research to know it was one of the more affordable places and if location is your top priority, its right off las ramblas so it was walkable to a lot of things!

First the good stuff: This hotel is very affordable and in a great location near Las Ramblas and within walking distance of tons of shops, restaurants, etc. The bad stuff: The rooms are small by American standards, but welcome to Europe. The beds are tiny, but again, that's to be expected in many European hotels. The thing that threw me the most was that the bathroom was detached from the room. It was across the hall. Granted, it was private (BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR RESERVATION TO MAKE SURE YOUR ROOM HAS A PRIVATE BATH), but it was awkward to walk across the hall each time you needed to use the restroom. Finally, the staff didn't speak much English. Some were very fluent, others not. I'd stay here again if I was traveling to Barcelona on a budget. But before I booked it, I'd look at slightly more expensive options that might include more amenities and an en suite bathroom.

The property was the perfect, most central location in Barcelona, as far as I am concerned. Literally steps from all forms of transportation, the St Josep Market, restaurants, shopping, sites, the water...everything! One of the few hotels you can find with three single beds: a prized commodity for families and small groups of friends traveling together. Other amenities includes: 24-hour front desk with helpful staff, small but adequate elevator, free wifi (this could definitely have been a stronger signal, however, you had to stand in certain parts of the room or hallway to get it). No breakfast was included (or available - no kitchen - but who needs it with all if the cafes and eating options available literally, right outside the door of the hotel).

Overall not bad. The room was very basic. Clean beds and bathroom for a quick overnight visit to Barcelona. We were lucky to get the best room in the hotel, top level facing the main street. Location was awesome.

Stayed here w/ my 2 teen kids. Quiet. Close 2 Las Ramblas-great location. Very large room but simple/ modest accommodations (great value). Staff was very helpful. Short walk to metro/Cataluyna.

The room was super small. The bed was uncomfortable. It was very loud. The walls are thin.

The room was clean, but the smell in the room was terrible, old building smell. Stuff was friendly ,helpfull. But first of all the location was perfect, close to the center. You can spend 1 night over there .

I am glad that we only stayed at Hotel Aneto for one night. The front desk clerk was helpful and spoke English. The elevator was tiny. We had to take two trips to get all of our luggage to the room. The room itself reminded me of a college dorm. It was small, Spartan, and there were cigarette burns on the coverlet. On the plus side, it is just off Las Ramblas. It is only a 20 minute walk to the Columbus Statue and maybe 5 minutes to the Liceu metro station. The Internet was included, but not breakfast. I would recommend spending a little more money for better quality.

The hotel was clean & the room was clean & comfortable. It had a good location, just off Las Ramblas, close to the hustle & bustle, but not noisy. The staff was helpful. We just wish a simple breakfast had been included since we had to leave for the airport before any restaurants near by were open.

Hotel Aneto was small and clean. The walls are thins so you can sometimes hear people in the next rooms. But if you are prepared for that, you couldn't find a better location. It is just off the Ramblas, and near the Boqueria.

Guestroom is very small but location is ideal for most attractions

Hotel had a good location but rooms, and beds were very small. It was also extremely loud in the morning and could hear everything through walls. Hotel in need of updating.

The hotel was located close to the places we wanted to visit. There was an elevator, but you had to climb a set of stairs to reach it. The lobby was not very welcoming, but we didn't have to sleep there so it didn't really matter. We had a quiet clean room where we could rest our heads. The clerks spoke good English and arranged for a cab to pick us up at 4:00 am. The price was reasonable and YES, we'd stay there again.g

Good location, terrible service and amenities. Really has nothing besides location. Service was dismal.
