I visited the hotel whilst visiting Barcelona on a weekend break. It was easy to get to from the airport due to its close proximity to two of the Aerobús stops. Upon arrival, we were offered glasses prosecco, which we could decide to have later on if we preferred. The room was clean and relatively modern, with a lovely big bathroom - my only slight issue would’ve been with the air conditioning which wasn’t working very well. The hotels location, walking distance from Plaça de Catalunya, is ideal for tourists looking to explore the city and has metro stations nearby. Overall, the hotels facilities were good and the staff were very pleasant and tried to be as helpful and accommodating as possible which added something to our stay. Unfortunately due to the time of year we were unable to take advantage of the rooftop plunge pool, but we were able to watch the sunset which had lovely views of the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and use it again in the future.
Just returned from a city break staying at H10 Casanova. On arriving at the hotel it was a friendly greeting, easy check- in and a welcome glass of cava! We requested a high floor and view which we were given- the room had a balcony and street/city view. The room was spacious, modern and very clean. Lots of toiletries, fluffy towels, comfortable beds with plenty of pillows, bottled water mini bar and safe. Breakfast was a real treat, there was loads of choices, hot food, cheese, breads, fruit, healthy eating corner, juices, milkshakes, pastries and always cold cava and sweets for the kids and adults!! The location of the hotel is just outside the center with a 10 minute stroll to La Rambla and Placa de Catalunya. Plenty of bars and restaurants near by but, the hotel bar is comparative in price and has a DJ on each evening. On New Years Eve we returned to the hotel at 1am to find everyone having fun and dancing in the bar - just finished the evening of perfectly. Would recommend this hotel and would certainly stay at this hotel again!
I surprised my Fiancé with a trip to Barcelona for his birthday last year and booked the H10 Casanova after a LOT of research! I had mentioned that I was booking for his birthday and ordered some cava and strawberries to be in the room on arrival. When we arrived at reception we were welcomed with a class of Cava each which was a perfect start to our weekend away. We couldn't get into the room until 2pm so we walked to Las Ramblas - a lovely walk which only took about 15 minutes. When we returned to the hotel the room was ready, the staff had scattered rose petals over the bed and the chocolate strawberries were amazing. The room was large with a beautiful little balcony overlooking the side street, the bathroom very modern with large shower. Whilst we were getting ready we kept getting a knock at the door with little surprises for my other half (not organised by me!). A little bottle of red wine and glasses, bath robes, it was a lovely touch. Breakfast the next day was amazing with a great variety of food which set us up until much later in the afternoon. The bed was super comfy and the room very quiet, considering it's on a busy road we heard no road noise whatsoever.. The location was great, easily accessible to all the major attractions and didn't need to get a cab once. I already recommended it to my Sister in Law who took her father there for his birthday. Will definitely return again.
the hotel is very well located super clean and modern design we were welcomed with chocolates and drinks. Hotel bikes you can take. the personal is amazing, so helpful! such great value for money! I really recomend any H10 hotel !
We treated ourselves to a suite in this well located hotel and that was the right decision: so spacious, quiet and comfortable! We were greated with two glasses of Cava at front desk (not a suite perk, but for every guest!), entered our suite and were very impressed with its size and attractive décor. The only weird thing: living room and bed room lighting had the same circuit, which meant if your fellow traveller wanted read in the living room, the bedroom lighting had to be on as well!!! Breakfast buffet was quite ok, but at a hotel of this standard, we expected egg dishes such as omelettes made to order which didnt't happen. Otherwise a flawless stay and we will happily return!
My solo adventure to Barcelona was made perfect by this hotel. I stayed for 6 nights and was really nice. Special mention goes to all the super helpful-front desk staff I had during my trip. Not to forget the great location. I dont understand why travellers prefer the old dark gothic or eraval quarters. For me this hotel’s neighbour hood in Eixample is perfect for taxis/ metros and walkable to all major squares you know in Barcelona. I had a great stay and shall be back.Thank you
Hotel was clean and located close to main attractions. Staff were not friendly and service was slow. Constant parties and very loud guests in the common room (lobby). Our complaints were not answered.
We stayed in the family suite on the 6th floor. The room faced the inside courtyard. There was not much of a view, although the room was very quiet and there was no indication that the hotel is situated on a main boulevard. The room was very spacious, which is not easy to come by in hotels in Spain. The mattress of the foldout sofa was comfortable like a normal bed. Equally as important, the hotel staff was very friendly and always gave good recommendations for restaurants and directions.
Location: sat on a main, busy street in Barcelona, we found this convenient for access to the Ramblas (15 min walk) and Plaza Espana 20 minutes walk in the opposite direction. Casa Batllo was also a short walk away. For trips further afield, Urgell metro and the bus station were nearby. The airport shuttle bus was also convenient. There were good places to eat nearby (Out of China and Cervecería Catalana were both excellent). Standard: Not the best hotel I have ever stayed at - but perfectly adequate for a few days stay. The staff are very friendly an helpful & the rooms are clean and functional. We did find that the room was warm - but were told the a/c only heats and does not cool - this could be an issue in summer!
great hotel, well positioned for La Rambla and other attractions. Very helpful reception, nice clean room, good breakfast. Birthday treat of cava and dipped strawberries and a little box of chocolates , nice bar area for a drink before and after hitting the town. Fridge in the room, no issues with noise or room temp also a free safe in the room. The only improvement would be a kettle or coffee machine in the room. would certainly recommend and will use again for this fantastic city.
