Negatives: Small room and uncomfortable furniture. Couldn’t fully open the balcony doors because there wasn’t enough space between them and the bed. Not enough shelf space for luggage for two people. Closests were dark without any lights. We used the iphone flashlight function to open the safe or look for objects we placed on the shelves in the closet. Very little shelf space in the bathroom for toiletries but was clean and bright. The room doesn’t have enough outlets or enough lighting. Two small “modern” cafeteria type chairs were the furnishings with a desk - We needed one chair for luggage - and used the desk for the other rolling bag - we only had two rolling bags and they took up much of the living space. Be aware - they have a number of signs around the hotel: “Outside food or drink is not allowed”! They have an outside rooftop patio with plunge pool and bar. Bar was closed - pool is not heated. Would have been nice to sit on the roof and have some wine but you have to order from the bar downstairs - too expensive for what you get. Breakfast buffet was 18 € per person - ridiculous. Positives: Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Although checkin was slow - we did have champagne while we waited - nice touch! Our room had a balcony with floor to ceiling doors. It looked great but we couldn’t fully open the doors - and wouldn’t have kept them open anyway since they overlooked a major boulevard which was noisy but we did have them open to get some fresh air - and light. Housekeeping responded quickly when we requested a hot kettle for heating water for coffee .... you must request one they aren’t automatically included in the room. Shower was fantastic! Bath towels were large and fluffy. Room was very clean and housekeeping did a nice job each day. Location was great for us. Easy 15 minute walk to get to La Rhambla and further down La Boqueria but away from the crowds. The area around the hotel felt more neighborhood-ish with a number of restaurants and cafes. Good for pastries or breakfast in the morning and wonderful for dinners or winding down in the evening. Summary: We didn’t spend a lot of time in the hotel. It has the look and feel of a business hotel. It would work ok for one person traveling but with two people in a double room it was cramped. It was clean and functional not warm and inviting. As for using the facilities, restaurant or bar area - we skipped them preferring to experience the surrounding areas. It wasn’t bad - it was fine...it was ok.

lovely looking hotel and it is in a great location. The hotel from check in looks wonderful and classy even the bar downstairs and sitting area is nice. Hotel room was lovely and exactly as expected, bed is probably one of the largest I have stayed in which was of course great! Lovely little balcony too which if we had stayed for longer we would have probably used. The hotel is in a great location too, plenty of little shops to grab stuff from and very close to Las Rambles and bar and actual shops for shopping... for any make up fans it is down the road from a huge Sephora. Room walls are the thickest although we did have a very loud group of guys staying next to us with music etc however we're young and out most of the time so that wasn't a major issue. Would definitely recommend to people who want to stay in Barcelona and be quite central

Just returned from our short break in Barcelona, and I have to say that this is an amazing and wonderful hotel and i am really glad to have chosen it. When i booked our stay at this hotel, i had mentioned that it was a birthday surprise city-break for my mom and sister because i wanted to organise something for them for when we get in to our room so i had asked them if they had any sort of offers or something, which they had and there was a few options to choose from as well, but due to the fact that i got so busy with work, i totally forgot to reply to them to organise a little surprise for my mom and sister. So we arrived at the hotel early in the morning but as expected our room was not yet ready, therefore we stored our luggages first and went out to walk around the city. At check-in an arrival drink (glass of Cava) was given to us, which i thought was a nice touch to welcome guests. Then when we entered our room there was a bottle of Cava, a plate of strawberries dipped in chocolate sauce, a spa voucher and a short letter wishing them a Happy Birthday, waiting for us on the table. We were surprised and i even called reception to ask why there were in our room, thinking maybe it was for another room, but the receptionist had confirmed that they were indeed prepared for my mom and sister since it was their birthday and was complimentary. I have to say that it was a very nice gesture/surprise and their efforts were very much appreciated. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and approachable. The hotel’s location is just perfect, while located in the city, it is not exactly in the centre where it’s crowded and noisy, but instead it’s about 10mins walk away from the centre (Plaça Catalunya, La Ramblas and many more). It’s more so in the quieter part of the city which i thought was just the perfect location since we were able to rest and sleep well without having to listen to the noise of the busy city. The hotel also has a wide variety of choices for breakfast, which was wonderful. There’s really nothing to not like about this hotel, but maybe as a recommendation or point of improvement is their restaurant menu. Although it is not a big restaurant and is more like a bar, their dinner menu is quite limited and i just think that they should add a bit more to it, especially authentic spanish cuisines. Other than that, i can’t really say anything negative about this hotel since they’ve made our stay memorable, comfortable and happy. Thank you and I will definitely return to stay at this hotel again for my next visit in Barcelona.

On arrival at hotel we were offed a glasss of fizz, staff were very pleasant. Bright, modern hotel. Room was lovely, great street view. Fab shower, very modern bathroom and towels etc were replaced daily as were toiletries. . Great rooftop bar and sun deck.

I had recently stayed here at the beginning of April and was impressed by the hotel. On the first night my mother’s handbag was stolen in a local bar, when we came back to the hotel the two members of staff at reception were amazing. My mum was very distressed and they did their upmost to try to calm her down, they also spent 10 mins on the phone to the police to find out when we could make a report as well as sorting our room key cards out as they were in the bag that was stolen. I did not get their names but they were a man and a woman on the night shift, I cannot thank them enough! As for the hotel itself it is of a nice modern design, the breakfast is incredible as there was so much choice, the rooms are nice and the bar is pleasant. The only critique I have is that the room cleaning was not great, I had a very sticky floor and even though the maids had come in to clean, they did not clean the floor which was clearly very sticky so I had to request further cleaning at reception which was sorted straight away. All in all I enjoyed my stay here.

Good location. Walking distance to Passig de Gracia, La Rambla, aerobus, hop-on-hop-off bus. Welcome drink at reception but we took the drink back to our room. Excellent, helpful & friendly service from Staff at Reception & Breakfast room. Breakfast is superb with great selection of choices. Choose higher floor & away from lifts which is quieter from traffic. Great view of city from balcony if the room has one. The glass door is double-glazed to shut off traffic noise otherwise it can be very noisy if opened. One not so great about this hotel is lack of air-condition. There appears to be one in the room but it only goes down to 17C which doesn't seem to blow cool air hence it was uncomfortably too warm to sleep. We had to open the balcony door to cool down but it was very noisy. This is the reason why I won't give this hotel Excellent rating. Shame that a lovely hotel doesn't have a good air-conditioning unit.

Nice hotel.Check in was great. Descent location. Rooms are dark and small but overall a pleasant experience. Our room was pretty small not sure about the others but definitely not good for a family of 4. Double beds don't seem to be an option there.

Hotel in a good location easy to get to from the airport. Was greeted with a small glass of cava on arrival. I upgraded our room as it was my husband's birthday and paid extra. Nice quiet room over looking the court yard. Was greeted with happy birthday when we checked in but no attempt to spoil us as other guests have stated. No cava or treats in room at all. This disappointed me as I thought as they were aware it was his birthday they might have left him a treat. Restaurant and bar staff very helpful but I found the reception staff to be unhelpful and at times a little rude. A nice place but it did not live up to my expectations and I was slightly disappointed.

The hotel was located very central, so it was a short walk to most things. The hotel appeared very new and our room was great. Big shower with both a shower and a tub. There was a swimming pool on the top level, that would have been nice have it been a little warmer. Great view as well from up there. We also got a welcome drink at arrival, and we got a room straight away. I would definitely go back here. The only “minus” was that the cleaning ladies kept coming back to clean even though we haven’t left the room. We could have put a sign on the door, so it was really our own fault.

This is a well placed hotel in the city centre just over half a mile from Las Ramblas. We had a reasonable sized room which was very comfortable and well presented. Unfortunately we were unable to dine in the hotel due to time of arrival but there was an abundance of small local eating places and supermarkets. Our stay included breakfast and the cold breakfast was excellent although the hot range of food was not really adequate nor good enough. Some extra care needs applying to this part of the operations. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay before going on to a cruise
