Stayed for 5 nights. Felt immediately welcome as soon as I walked into the door. Monserrat was able to get me a room earlier than the normal Check in time, as my flight arrived early in the morning. The hotel is across the street from the Sants Estacio train station. Do yourself a favor and download the Barcelona Train app, which will help you navigate the city efortlessly.

Greet staff, very helpful with directions and places of interest.great view from the 10th floor. Awesome breakfast each morning very fresh fruits and bread. Best service I had on vacation will definitely come back to the same hotel.

Close to Central Train Station so getting from Airport to City Centrt a breeze. Metro stop right down the street. Staff were all super-especially Carlos at front desk, who was super friendly and offered so many great tips and suggestions!

Thought the hotel met most of our standards. Would say it is more on the side of a 3 star rather than 4 star hotel, but none the less was clean and easily assessed. Not necessarily in the center of the city but easily assessed by metro. Pros: Right by Sants Estacio metro station, spacious rooms, if higher floor have a nice view of city, internet was fast, bathroom had separate bath and shower, ice machines on every floor. Cons: Lower floors facing Expo Hotel have view of parking lot (not a nice view at all, just keep your drapes closed!), have only 1 free bottle of water for entire stay (this level of hotel should give a free bottle of water daily, however not a big deal), top floor restaurant very expensive, housekeeping could be more thorough.

Enjoyed our stay very much. However, there is room for improvement. The staff are courteous and helpful. However, needs improvement in English skills. Pillows in room were too soft, need also to provide hard pillows. The Gym needs more space and machines to enable a few people exercise at the same time. The hotel is in a safe and quiet locality. The metro being close by to the hotel is useful and convenient. We were able to have some rest and a break before the evening program. Special appreciation to the staff at the Information desk upstairs. They were patient and understanding with their explanations on places to visit with clear instructions. They had the necessary PR and English language skills always cheerful and ready to help.

Amazing hotel stay. I even got an upgrade since the room I booked online wasn't available. Def look forward to staying there again.

Hotel location was across from train station and within walking distance of some tourist sites. Room was upgraded, but shower had a problem which couldn't be fixed. New room was offered. Ice machine didn't work. TV had limited English language channels. No real nightlife around the hotel. Would I stay again yes because of location to train station and price.

Brief stay 2 nights, friendly and helpful staff (Clara), good breakfast buffet and excellent convenient location across from Barcelona Sants, the main train station.

We did not use wi-fi, so please ignore that rating. We wanted to stay near the train station for convenience to and from Barcelona and to be near the Metro. We felt the restaurant prices are high, especially for the breakfast buffet. A slight discount is offered provided one commits to eating breakfast every morning. It is a short walk to the Las Arenas area with many restaurants.

Wonderful hotel. Very helpful and professional staff.

The room big enough, and comfortable beds. it was clean and got beautiful window view, and fast wifi.

The hotel is at a great location, just next to the train station Sants, very easy to get around the city. The rooms are clean and large. But the check in and check out experience needed improvement. We had booked 2 rooms, the day before, we called and see if it was possible to have the rooms next to each other. The answer was not a problem. But when we checked in, the counter clerk said that was not possible, because of the room type. So we asked to have the rooms close by, but that seemed to be asking too much. We finally got the rooms with one room in between, but that took a lot of discussion with the clerks. Also at check in we were offered 10 Euro breakfast, so we signed up. At check out, they said the breakfast was 13.2 Euro, not 10. All 4 of us heard the price as 10 Euro very clearly when that was offered, we refusedto accept the increase at check out and asked for the manager, and the price was adjusted.

The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Train station and you can access major tourist attractions from here via public transportation. Hotel is clean, very comfortable and spacious- just what a jet lagged traveller needs! It is a bit noisy so expect to hear the maid moving furniture around in the room next to you, and possibly those arriving late to their room ( I'm a light sleeper). Aside from that, I definitely recommend this hotel. Good value for the price you pay!

Hotel staff was extremely helpful. They were able to give us plenty of recommendations to sites, food and places to enjoy. I cannot say enough about the extremely professional attitude of the hotel staff. Each person we encountered was extremely eager to make us happy with our stay. Fantastic job by all. Don't know if u should post a name, but Clara, one staff member in particular was fantastic to both my girlfriend and me. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if I was coming back to Barcelona. Almost every staff member spoke English, which was extremely helpful.

Great location ..took the train in from airport ..hotel is right across the street ...walked to las ramblas almost everyday ...food was also amazing at hotel....got lost one day and all you had to do was look up in the sky to look for the Sony logo...we found our way...

Great hotel, price was ok. Very helpful and friendly staff. A little overpriced considering breakfast was an additional cost. Aside from that, a great experience.

Had a great time there....Will be back soon...............................................

Very nice room and staff, good value. Close to train station but not really in the middle of town, need to take the subway to get to the more interesting areas but not a big deal as the stop is nearby. No complaints!

Gran Hotel Torre Catalunya was in a great location in Barcelona - very near both train and subway. The staff was superb giving us their best information as to how to get around to see the sites. Very easy subway system. Contrary to other reviews I have read, they did NOT try to talk us into upgrading to a higher floor nor their breakfast buffet.

Great Place. Clean. Very Friendly staff. Close to public transportation. Walking distance from plaza Esypana.
