Great location, the service at the lobby was great, the service at the roof top bar was really bad, but at the end it was a really nice hotel and experience.

The hotel was clean. The front desk staff was very nice. The hotel was in a convenient location for shopping and some attractions. However, The atmosphere was strange. The antique display in the open area was not pleasant. The fake pond fish was weird. We stayed in a Junior Suite room. The wall color and the antique dresser in the sitting room were disturbing. There was no real closet and no place to put the luggage. There was only one tiny garbage can in the room that held little waste. The shower room was very small and we could not control the direction of water stream. There was no real sink to hold water. The tiles made the bathroom floor seem wet all the time. The window location made the room setup very awkward. It is an okay hotel, but not five-star. The quality of the hotel did not justify the cost we spent.

Staff was outstanding on all levels. Went above and beyond to make our Barcelona stay memorable.

Well located, in s very nice area. The welcoming was warm but...we were not told, as it should be, that the hotel experianse some noisy works all day long, for 3 days. After few phone calls, the managment was kind enough to offer free breakfast(we used only 1), a free shuttle to the airport and a bottles of wine and water. The staff was very kind and hellpfull. We might come bace.

When we checked in, the staff was lovely and helpful. Our room wasn't ready. They stored our things and the rooms were ready when we returned. The room was small with an upstairs living room. It was a bit impractical and we felt that we were on top of one another. It was compact. The rooms had excellent air conditioning which is rare in Europe. The pool is nice. But you feel like you are swimming in the middle of an upstairs roof top dining area. When our son jumped in, water splashed on someone's drink. We felt terrible. But that is how compact things are. The other odd thing was the waiters kept asking us to sign for things that we didn't order. They were a bit insistent that my husband had ordered food, but didn't pay. It wasn't true. They were confused, breakfast was nice. We came in when the dining room opened because we had a flight to catch. The waiter was rude when I asked for coffee, saying just one minute. No one else was there. It was definitely a mixed bag. I liked the location and would only recommend it if you get it at a good price.

The hotel had great decor, with a boutique feel to it. Staff was always accommodating and gave great recommendations. The hotel is located in a great neighborhood, walking distance to shops/restaurants and very close to public transportation to all popular attractions.

Loved the hotel. Very nice restaurant staff was very friendly

interesting room design- staff was very pleasant- room was ready early int he morning when we arrived

Right from the greeting when I arrived ,to the farewll, I felt like a princess! The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful with artwork throughout. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the hotel location was centrally located. Very nice shops near by and Guadi galore!

If you're a Gaudi lover, the Claris is a great location -- seven blocks in one direction is the cathedral, a couple of blocks over in another direction are two of his houses, and #24 bus, a block away, takes you to the Parc Guell, where he lived and worked. Then when you get back and want to relax, you can just sit by the roof top pool. Oh, the Ramblas, the Cathedral, and many other sites are walking distance too.

We'll located this boutique has anything to pamper you well located, excellent staff and niece room

Top service, modern clean decor, great central location. We could spoke out to must-see sites in different directions.

The hotel was in a great part of town and much quieter than many of the other options, as we saw while walking around. The hotel doesnt offer much, the gym was three machines from the seventies and there is no where to buy a bottle of water except the mini bar for obvious over charging. The rooms were nice but the tv was in a strange place you couldnt see from the bed. On the 6 th floor you can hear noise from the bar upstairs, which kept us up one night, as we were so tired the others. The staff was nice but took two days to book a tour for us they said they could book. It turned out fine, but we could have done it ourselves. It was a pricey hotel, so we expected a lot and got a nice room, good service, and everything we needed. Great stay in all. Id come back.

The hotel room we had was a two story loft with 2 very comfortable twin beds. After a long flight from Toronto, the hotel was a welcome surprise! Clean, beautiful and the staff were very polite and helpful. Service was top notch, would definitely stay again!

Let's start with the positives. Location. Great location if you're looking to be close to the action, but not on top of it.... Also ask for the private car service to the airport - less expensive and a very nice driver. Roof top is small, but a nice bar to end the evening. Good music, drinks and views. Now the negative. We were given a single room and booked a double. We were told there weren't any other options and that we had to wait two hours for the manager to come on before determining alternatives. Then, when the manager came on, we never even spoke to the manager, we worked again with someone at the front desk who basically went back to talk to the manager and relay information back-and-forth to me. Honestly, the manager should have come out. I had to pull up my reservation online to PROVE to them what I booked, otherwise they didn't believe me. Amazing. Then they gave us the only available room and it had a smell that set my allergies on fire. Something I'm sure to get rid of the smoking smell. You have to pay for Internet access every 24 hours. Some people are fine with that, just mentioning. We weren't familiar with Barcelona and the staff wasn't much help - no concierge to speak of to help with reservations, directions - anything. I was very disappointed with this supposed five star hotel. I typically don't write reviews, but couldn't hold back on this one. Look for somewhere else to stay.

Room was great, amenities as well. Rooftop pool and the bar very nice. Will come back!

A group of Wonderful and helpful people at this hotel. The hotel rooms are modern with bi-lingaul TV for English and other European languages. Lovely roof top pool and food and bar services. Overall a wonderful choice in Barcelona.

Location perfect Staff in reception were very friendly, in the bar not-so. The hotel is modern & very clean & very contemporary. The bedroom is impractical e.g. a big bath (not needed) instead of a walk-in shower (Which everybody wants). You could easily hurt yourself and very easily slip. The lighting over the bed is..confusing and the TV is on a side wall you cannot see and there are NO English channels. There's no Wi-Fi (unbelievable) without paying €50/Day (Yes per day!!!) There's a very scary ornament in the bedroom.

Rooftop pool and bar. Antiques in hotel and a small museum. Stylish rooms and beautiful bathrooms.

The Eixample neighborhood is without a doubt the best place to stay in Barcelona -- lovely shaded boulevards, beautiful buildings and great restaurants, and not as noisy and touristy as las Ramblas -- and the Claris is a wonderful place to enjoy it. The hotel is smaller, and perhaps a little less luxe, than most of the other five-star hotels in the neighborhood, but it's certainly fancy enough, and the price we got [...] was quite reasonable for such a luxurious hotel, making it something of a bargain. Our room was one of the few interior rooms, facing a nice courtyard, so it was very quiet, and it was pretty large and very well appointed. All of the staff were extremely friendly and recommended some great restaurants in the neighborhood.
