I have read previous reviews and surprised that people had bad rooms here cause upon arrival I thought room was great and clean. Pretty standard but nice. At check in guy told us breakfast was included-then we stopped at desk next morning to comment about noise at night on the street- jus asking basically if it was as noisy elsewhere in the hotel cause there is nothing she could do at that point......Then somehow she said breakfast wasn’t included which we were told it was at beginning......she obviously didn’t want to do anything nice to compensate for putting us in noisy room......so jus average hotel....don’t expect anyone providing great customer service.....don’t get room on street!
It is located in a neighborhood just 10 minutes walk from the city center in a quiet and safe neighborhood surrounded by restaurants. Well connected to the main attractions of the city by subway. We reserve the free breakfast offer that they offer on their website. The hotel is comfortable, the rooms are large, everything is very clean and has good wifi connection. The staff is friendly and helpful
I spent some days in this hotel with my wife, we had a great time, workers were very kind with us, the room was big and clean, reception was very modern and our favorite part was the amazing spa the hotel has.
If you have any standards, do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere. Our toilet broke two days in, and we were told that the plumber had gone home for the day at 22:00. We therefore slept with a flushing sound all night. To use the lockers in the spa, you have to lock your locker with 1 Euro (which we weren't told, who brings cash to a supposed 4 star spa?). You also have to bring your own towel, so you'd then need to request more towels to be sent to your room. Nothing here is thought through or explained until you yourself encounter the potential issue. The "gym" is essentially a broken bench, four dumbells, one treadmill, one pec/lat machine, a cross trainer and a broken bike. Bravo. Every day our room was cleaned, something was taken and not replaced. We constantly had to phone reception and ask where our towels had gone, and on top of that, we were given bathrobes which were then taken four days into our stay due to an apparent shortage in the Junior suites. The towel rack was coming loose, the room door has a gap in it so all the light from the corridor streams in during the night, as well as the noise from the drunken guests at 3am. The aircon on certain days smelt like sewage run off. There are no tea making facilities in the room, we had to ask for a kettle, and there are very few irons available too. The staff were also non attentive. Here's an idea, try smiling and actually listening and giving a concrete answer to your paying guests instead of giving 3 different answers to one question. DON'T talk over your guests, this is not good customer service. Trust me, if you're a prospective guest, look elsewhere, it's not worth the hassle. I totally endorse all the negative reviews below. We stayed in the hotel for a week, and when compared to other actual 4 star hotels we have stayed in throughout Europe and Spain, this is bottom of the pile by a huge margin. Unhelpful staff and non intuitive/broken facilities make this place seem more like a 2/3 star hotel, if that.
Hotel very central and well connected. Very friendly staff good wifi signal. Good restoration and a very nice spa. It has large rooms where we performed our annual event perfectly. We were very well looked after
We have traveled to Barcelona to exhibit at the Fair and we have liked this hotel because it is near the Fira de Barcelona, and at the same time it is in the center, it has some restaurants around very close, and it is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Very happy with the wellness center of the hotel. We really appreciated the leg massage after having been working hard all day
They have treated us very well in this hotel. The reception staff gave us a warm welcome and at all times they were very attentive and kind to our needs. We liked a lot the spa, it's a small size but the decoration is very modern and the atmosphere is very relaxed. It has a sauna, hammam, showers, and jacuzzi. The massage service is good.
I am staying here for business reasons. I had a very nice email exchange with a lady named Inga advanced to my stay here. The Hotel is situated in Eixample which is in a nice walking range towards the city centre. The room i am referring to is 109 it is clean and big. The only downside is that it is quite dark! A ceiling mounted lamp would help. And the window opens into a small inner court which makes it risky to leave the window open during the night. Oh and when parking there make sure you have the biggest driving skills or the smallest possible car or a good cover on your rental car. The personnel is really friendly and the cleaning crew is awesome. we are not looking forward to leave on the 10th. 👍🏽
We stayed for 4 nights.Tehere were some issues...The big bed was in fact two small beds put together. They were moving all the time. The sink was not in the bathroom but in the room. You cannot open the room’s window.
Came for the mobile world congress, the location of the hotel is ok. Not in the center. But it’s nearby the metro. The rooms are fine but simple. There is nice spa facilities. The breakfast is poor. If you want good breakfast it is not the place.
