Lovely hotel and although it was a walk into the centre it only took around 15 mins...the room was very large and comfortable and very clean! the food was also fab with lots to choose from, all in all a fab weekend in Barcelona!

We booked a "Superior Deluxe Room" with Spa access and all I can say is that it was pretty poor and we checked out after one night. The bedroom was ok however the the hotel is situated in the middle of flats all around you so there is no privacy at all. Our Bathroom was very badly damaged with a split shower hose and the ceiling cracking and horrible - Definitely not what you expect at 150 euros a night! There are much better places to stay.

While some receptionists are very nice and helpful, others are quite the opposite. A guy in his 50s working the night shift couldn't be bothered to be of any assistance; I suspect his solitaire was more engaging. The pool looks much better in the pictures. It's barely 10 meters long and half a meter deep and the pool area is much smaller than one would hope. Air conditioning is noisy and the windows locked so one has to choose between fresh air and a quiet sleep.

this place is well located and we walked everywhere in Barcelona from here. plus there are some very good restaurants nearby for evening tapas. but this place was super quirky. our first room had no room to maneuver and no place to put anything down. huge unnecessary desk, but no outlet by the bed. could barely squeeze by one bed to get to the other. we asked to change the room and the front desk was very nice and accommodated us. the layout of the next room was better, but still weirdly configured and appointed. the lamps are glued to the tables, making it hard to put your phone, book, glasses or whatever next to the bed. still no outlet. the glass sink is attractive, til you run the water and it's so shallow the water splashes everywhere. the hot water handle came off in my hand in the shower. the shower amenities were outside the bathroom at the sink. the sink amenities were in the bathroom near the toilet. but the worst was breakfast, which got rave reviews here on trip advisor. a 4 star hotel should serve hot coffee in a pot. is that too much to ask ? either put a pot on the table, as they do in France. or have someone continually circle the dining room offering up hot coffee, like in any diner in the US. instead they have a coffee machine that belongs in an office. it serves up a tiny amount of coffee so slowly that a line builds up. i got a cup, walked to the end of the line, drank it on line, got another cup. this is not 4 star service. some people, certainly some Americans, need free flowing large amounts of coffee in the morning. we actually gave up on breakfast at this hotel and found Costa Coffee, a chain something like Starbucks. i went to the desk to make some suggestions and a nice person took my email address and said the owner would reach out, but i never heard a thing. i would definitely try to find a different place next time. the roofdeck pool was a nice place to hang out tho.

Clean hotel, very central with lovely welcoming staff (especially at front desk) however, this is a business hotel not a tourist hotel. The rooftop pool advertised is very small, simple and basic. Not really an attraction as it is surrounded by high rised flats. We requested to use the sauna/steam room but were asked for 15 Euros each per day which was not advertised with the holiday and certainly not worth the payment. Again, probably a corporate expense. Breakfast was good but basic with not a lot of choice. There was no tea making facilities in the rooms and staff downstairs charged us 2 euros for a coffee at the end of the evening which was annoying. The rooms were clean and modern however, there was no sockets anywhere near the mirrors and the rooms were fairly dark so for a woman, impossible to apply makeup and use straighteners etc. Overally, for a business stay, most definitely but for tourists it's not appropriate.

I'm happy to have stayed here. The rooms are clean and the service is good. The air conditioning didn't work but they fixed it right away (thanks goodness). It's centrally located so an easy walk to many great sights and restaurants.

Prior to setting sail on our Western European vacation we landed here in Barcelona for a day of site seeing. This hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of famous Gaudi architectural wonders. Our room was on the inner quad which made it a very quiet place place to rest. The restaurant wasn't open later in the evening so plan on finding a nice eatery nearby.

I've been here with my partner for a weekend break away from London. First time for me in Barcelona. The hotel is well situated no that much distance from the center of the city. Underground just a few minutes away from the hotel. The hotel its very cool, lobby very well appointed. Reception very nice. I speak a bit spanish as well so the check in procedure was good. The room its nice, I will say a bit small and slightly dark, as there aren't a main lights, only bed side lamp on the door and next to the wardrobe. We didn't try breakfast at the hotel as it wasn't included, but you have a few coffee bar where you can have a good spanish breakfast. I give 4 only for the lights in the room: just a few and not that much stronger.

I was surprised by this hotel. This is better than the written comments. The welcome in reception in warm and they have always been concerned that our stay was perfect. The rooms are decorated in wood, the beds are very spacious and everything is very clean The hotel is well located and well connected with the tourist attractions by metro and bus. There is always a taxi at the door

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a long weekend and we really enjoyed our time in Barcelona. The hotel was lovely, the rooms were clean and tidy and also very modern. You can tell that it is well looked after. All of the staff that we spoke to were very friendly and helped us as much as they could with everything. It's in a great location as it's near some restaurants and bars but you can also walk anywhere that you want to go. We walked down to the beach, the marina, the city centre for shopping and it never felt too far. We did walk quite a lot so maybe it wouldn't be as good for older couples but we liked the location a lot. We used the spa on the first night for a small extra cost which was lovely and helped us relax into the holiday. It was also just the 2 of us in there so really nice to just have a chat and chill out. The only thing that we didn't really enjoy was the breakfast, there wasn't much hot food and the quality of the food they did have wasn't amazing. Fresh fruit options limited and only white bread for toast. Coffee machine slow and fruit juices warm. Would defiantly go back to this hotel but maybe just stick to the room only rather than bed and breakfast.
