Clean and people makes you feel welcome

The place is not huge so they make you feel very welcome like they know you from before. It is very clean and provide locker room and shampoo, tea for free. The personnel is super friendly and provide great recommendations for your trip.

A bit disappointed for not having our room cleaned during our 3 night stay, we had to ask for fresh towels. Also had to request to check out at 11 as they expect you to leave by 10 am. They don't hold your luggage in case you have a late flight like we had. We had to walk around with our suitcases. The location is great near shops, bars and restaurants.

Great , Convenient with Awesome staff

This is a great choice ! Clean, Close and Convenient. Check in was easy and they held our bags until the room was ready. Great out door patio.., living room and fully equipped kitchen with fridge . They even make and provide coffee. Rooms are basic and comfortable . Ours was main floor ( thanks as we are older and stairs ?? ) Bathrooms and showers clean and always available only negative is renting a towel for 2 E , just raise the price a bit and provide a towel ! Staffers very friendly and helpful.. Marta was awesome and Miguel even helped me make train reservations. Suggested Restaurant Bosque Palermo, 2 blocks for fabluous Paella and Tapas , went back twice. Easy walk and access to Calle Valencia and busses and Metro to sites . We did hop on/ off which works so well with so many things to see. Sagrada Familia by Guadi is a must also check out Mont Sajic and Olympic 1992 sites . Reserve Casa Kessler in advbance as they sell out !

It was sad having to leave this hostel!

This is the best hostel I've ever been and with such a decent price! I honestly had to book one night here just because another hostel disappointed me so much with their dirty bathroom, but my trip was totally saved by Casa Kessler! I had such a pleasant time here with a very comfortable premium bedding, free fresh towel, very clean bathroom, and a cherry on top of everything: a stylish and chic furniture setting that makes this hostel look more like a boutique hotel, not a low budget hostel at all! The staffs were amazingly sweet and very helpful. I'll certainly come back here if I have a chance and recommend this place to all my friends! Thank you once again for such a wonderful stay.

Fantastic!

Fantastic hotel! Housed in a building over 100 years old, the hotel is full of character incorporating many of the wonderful original features but with added modern day touches. Our room on the fourth floor, with a lovely balcony overlooking a quiet tree lined street, was beautifully furnished and designed, clean, extremely spacious, comfortable and had everything you could need, including tea making facilities, a free bottle of water and a welcome chocolate! The bathroom was enormous and tastefully decorated, with free toiletries, hairdryer and big, soft towels. My partner and I have travelled alot and can honestly say that this is one of the nicest and most spacious bedrooms we have had the pleasure of staying in. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a hotel room with character, comfort and convenience of location. Just fabulous!
