Staff were really welcoming and helpful book restaurants for us every night .the room was so clean and immaculate would highly recommend this hotel the staff where so helpful went out of there way for you. Nice roof Bar and view was fantastic .
The hotel has a very good design with great view and convenient location not far from Rambla walking street. We liked the design in our room with a very comfortable bed. The receptionist could speak English and French very well and they are very helpful. Though we came in the morning still they arranged us the room even 6 hours earlier than normal check-in time.
Hotel was ideally situated, the pool view was amazing. The staff were so helpful and let us check in a few hours early. The hotel was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and it was the perfect place to come back and relax after a long day exploring the city.
Great location for this modern hotel. Within close walking distance of the Drassanes tube station. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. My wife lost one of her rings and an email was sent out saying it had been handed in. We needed stadium tour tickets printed, which was also not a problem. Although we had to pay extra for the breakfast, it was fresh and plentiful. The roof top plunge pool was very refreshing, with panoramic views of Barcelona. 5 mins walk to La Rambla and about 10 mins to waterfront, with an extra 10 mins on top to the beach front. Room was clean and spacious and comfortable. A large tv and air conditioned. We could even see the cable car and port with the daily cruise ships docking. Barcelona has plenty to see and many eating places, so for us, Andante was in a great location for it all
The Andante Hotel is just off the Las Ramblas, the main tourist walking street of Barcelona. The hotel is also within walking distance to the cruise ship ferry terminals - we are going on a cruise. This is the main good point of the hotel. Having stayed in many hotels I thought a hotel that cost what we paid to stay at this hotel, would have the basics - no!! I expected a small refrigerator and a kettle in the room. There are vending machines for coffee, etc in the foyer - I bring my own mug and my own coffee and expect to be able to make coffee in my room with a kettle. The pool looks nothing like the brochure photo - do they ever. I found the rooms to be comfortable and clean so they met my expectations in that regard. The staff are not the friendliest - the bearded receptionist was robotic in the way he spoke to us, he had a spiel to get through and we had to listen - he was reasonably efficient - but service is more than just a rehearsed speech. The area directly around the hotel can be a little intimidating in the evenings - it is a dodgy part of town.
Hotel is like new. Staff went above and beyond with suggestions, directions, and helped get us to urgent care at midnight when my wife needed a doctor. Walked everywhere, pastries, Pizza Circus and Palau Guell around corner and Ramblas is maybe 5 minute walk. Cappuccino machine in lobby for 1 Euro. Pictures are all chocolate sculptures at chocolate museum (Carrer del Comerç, 36, 08003 Barcelona, Spain). Must try the hot chocolate.
A lovely welcoming hotel and friendly, informative staff especially Albert who was so helpful and made the best G and T's at the rooftop terrace which is a must with the best view of the city! If you need to know anything about your stay in fabulous Barcelona just ask and they will provide a map and highlight the many attractions. Breakfast was amazing, the rooms were clean and comfortable and such a good location for walking especially to Las Ramblas. Initially, we thought the location was a little daunting and run down but we felt perfectly safe once we familiarised ourselves with the area. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found such a gem of a hotel purely by accident. Thank you very much all of you at the Andante Hotel.
Near La Rambla, the main pedestrian street of the city and various historical buildings. Room and facilities are clean and neat. Eliminated excess to be environmentally friendly. High security at the entrance.
The Staff, Service and Hotel are all amazing! We needed some advice prior to our trip and the staff were so helpful, beyond all expectations! Albert and Patricia went out of their way to help us. Upon arrival we were greeted with genuine friendship and given a guide to Barcelona written by the hotel. The room was immaculate and the facilities amazing! The roof top terrace and pool give spectacular views across the city, and at night it is breathtaking! Thank you Andante, we will be coming back!!
Andante hotel is a nice modern hotel located on the edge of the Gothic quarter, near lots of the sites, bars, and restaurants in Barcelona. The hotel staff were all very helpful, the room was clean, comfortable and utilitarian. The rooftop pool was lovely, although it isn't heated so was a bit too cold to use when we visited.
