H10 is a hotel chain that I see around Barcelona. The Art Gallery not surprisingly has art theme. They have some interesting art around the lobby and also had a small art exhibition. The standard room is very small as you can barely walk around. They have free drinks in the lobby.
We stayed in a superior room for 5 nights. The room is really small and somewhat dated for this price. "Superior" meant that we at least got a window overlooking the street, "basic" would mean that the window would be into the inner courtyard which has almost no natural light. The furniture in the room was mostly shaky, especially the table and the bed was rather small. The lobby of the hotel was nice and the staff really friendly but overall it was not quite as expected given the price.
We were received very warmly with an upgrade and a welcome copa de cava at this nice hotel. We like staying in Eixample when in Barcelona as it's in walking distance to many of the city's attractions and the area has many nice bars and restaurants. The hotel is modern, light and art-themed. The room (even with an upgrade) was quite small and the wall in our room was already a little worn from previous visitors. But it had a cosy little terrace and was quiet. The bed was comfy, the wifi worked perfectly, the bathroom was beautiful, with natural stone and an automatic warm light, a walk-in shower and Rituals cosmetics. There is also a nice Nespresso machine and two bottles of complimentary water - a nice addition. We hadn't booked breakfast but there's a bar right on the next square that offers breakfast and plenty more choices around. The staff was super helpful. They also offer bikes for rental - a wonderful way to explore the city! All in all, we were very happy with our stay.
Barcelona is one of the cities you must see. We made a good choice by taking this hotel, at walking distance from some major points of interest. This hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood, with a lot of charming restaurants, tapasbars, cocktailbars in walking distance. The hotel is nicely decorated with major art pieces, is very clean, has a big patio where you can take your breakfast. The rooms where clean, big enough, and all had a balcony, where it was comforting to site after the long strolls we made. The view from the balcony is not interesting as surrounded by large houses. This inner court is spacious enough tough. I felt in love with the decoration of this hotel, where the staff is very friendly and experienced . You have to go out for lunch and dinner, but being in such a city with that much opportunities is no problem at all, besides you can hier a bicycle at the hotel, taxi plot is 10 m away ...
This is a great choice for the Eixample area. Service was impeccable – from Check-in to Hotel Bar to Breakfast room, staff was well-trained and efficient. Room itself would have felt a bit small for two, though it was large enough for one person and one night. In fact, when you opened the door you would literally fall straight into the room (perhaps a plus if very tired). Nevertheless, amenities were pretty nice: 2 complimentary bottles of water, nice toiletry products, iPhone docking station, air-con, room safe and a little bag with spare toothbrush, handkerchiefs, razor, etc. in case you forgot something at home. Falling asleep was a little difficult in the beginning, since the floor was a bit noisy. Nonetheless, I got a pretty decent night’s sleep – no complaints. Rain shower in the morning was excellent and refreshing. I had booked breakfast, too, which turned out to be a good decision, as there was a nice continental breakfast choice, including fresh fruit, juices, as well as choices of meat, cheese and cereals. Eggs cooked to your liking were offered by staff proactively. The hotels prides itself on its interior design – justified or not you could probably discuss at great length with an expert over a drink at the nice hotel bar. The only thing I would personally change about this hotel is installing properly closing bathroom doors for more privacy. Which is in fact my only complaint and the only reason why I would definitely return on business trips as a single traveler, but not as a tourist sharing a room with my partner. But then again, this might be a matter of taste.
It's a beautiful hotel in the center of Barcelona. It's located in the street Enric Granados, which is full of restaurants, pubs, clubs. I was in the second floor dedicated to the Catalan famous painter Antonio Miró. Nice room, confortable, quiet and all services. Amenities in the bathroom are good. Breakfast in the morning it's good as well. So i strongly recommend this place.
Loved this hotel came with my boyfriend for a birthday treat. Victor at reception was extremely helpful and accommodating. Rooms are clean and have everything you need and more, we will definitely book this hotel again in the future :)
This is my most favourite hotel in Barcelona, the staff is great, they have your record of the number of times that you stay there and they know your likes and dislikes It is a very high 4* hotel. The rooms are very cool decorated and spacious, you get a travel kit gift wich is very habdy when you travel a lot. The brakfast is a buffet but with hot items a la carte which makes you feel confortable and very well treated when you get ssrved... 10 of 10 for this hotel!
Perfect location for getting to all areas of this beautiful city with two metro stations within minutes. A glass of champagne on checking in was a lovely touch and the rooms were superb with everything you needed for a short stay!. The themed floors are a treat and the outside courtyard is lovely for a relaxing drink. We travelled in late November but the weather was perfect and you can still sit out at night. Lively cafes in every street that stay open until very late/early!! Would highly recommend and definitely stay again on our next visit to Barcelona.
If you like art and you like boutique hotels, this is the place for you. As soon as you enter you think you have entered an art gallery. Reception are friendly and will cater to all your needs, the bar and outside patio are chic and well presented. Would recommend the rooms with the balcony as the basic rooms are very small. We can not fault the rooms or shower rooms. Definitely would come back again.
