Property was clean and modern. The staff and service was great and we really appreciated them (especially considering what we went through). But, in short, DO NOT STAY HERE!! What made our experience extremely disappointing were the numerous sound issues we had in our room. On our first night, the person staying in the next room had their tv on late into the night, which we could hear and which kept us awake. Hotel security knocked on their door and called them, but they never responded. We were kept up until 2-3am. Beginning the second night, we started to hear what sounded like high heeled footsteps above us. These footsteps actually woke us up early one morning! We couldn’t tell where they were coming from (we were on the top floor) and never found out, even after staff looked into it. We also had issues hearing loud voices of people outside from rooms below us on their balconies as if they were right next to our windows. Thankfully, the staff got us into a quiet room for our last night, but this was after numerous issues. We were very disappointed with our stay and advise people not to stay here if you are looking for peace and quiet in your room.
Great location, friendly English speaking staff. Clean rooms and beautiful decor. Only minor issue is that the climate control panel is hard to figure out. Plus the air conditioning setting only allowed the room to go down to 73 degrees.
We stayed 2 nights at the hotel. The welcoming was very nice with a class of cava I assume at check in. Later we received from the staff to complimentary drinks at the hotel bar. The bartender took 30 min to serve the drinks at the pool, and the next day the bartender was new and didn't even know how to make the drinks. Overall the hotel was great. The location is fine but if you like walking it will most likely suite you. The breakfast was really great, and the staff was very helpful. Some of the reviews complained about the hotel staff but that might just be personal beef. The only thing was, the sheets in the room had a weird smell on the first night as if they haven't been changed between guests who stayed prior to us, but after requesting them all changed for the second night they were fine. bottom line great staff great breakfast and great place to stay in beautiful Barcelona.
The rooftop pool and lower lobby and courtyard are incredible. Our basic room was small, but very well-equipped and comfortable. All staff members were extremely welcoming, courteous, and knowledgeable.
