Funky small hotel with great décor and walls adorned with great paintings. Every floor is named after a famous artist. A Gorgeous courtyard out back perfect to enjoy your welcome drink & then some! Rooms are small, as most are in Europe, but comfortable with good amenities. We had a front room which is a bit noisy, so choose back if you are a light sleeper. Loved the location & neighbourhood, without the tourist hype.
H10 Art Gallery hotel is the best! When you arrive, they give you a welcome cocktail. So classy!! The lobby is stunningly decorated. There is a breakfast room and a bar. There are computers for use in the lobby. Tons of Art on the walls and Art Books in the sitting area. You could spend hours in the lobby alone! There is also a gym and a roof top pool. What more could you want!?? The rooms are lovely, the beds are comfortable. The showers are wonderful. Each room has a mini bar and expresso machine. There is a lovely market right around the corner that sells cheap wine, baguettes, fruit or whatever you need. The staff is beyond accommodating and sweet. Carlos at the front desk was exceptionally incredible. Dan was also very kind. And the manager David was amazing as well. We were staying 4 nights and we had a room in the front on the street side and we could here the sounds of the people at night in the cafes laughing and smoking, we were considering changing rooms and David was going to let us do so. He let us see the room before we switched to a room at the back of the hotel, but we ended up staying in our room because I grew to love the sounds of the city and the people of Barcelona! It was perfect. If you want a super, quiet room with a balcony, request a room in the back of the hotel. I liked the action of the front! The neighborhood is so incredible. It's safe, with tons of stores, restaurants and bars around. So much to do. It's only a couple of blocks from the metro! The city of Barcelona is impeccable. What a special place! I can't wait to go back! Thank you staff of H10 for all of your kindness and assistance. You are all amazing! Please say hi to Carlos from Kelly and Wayne! We miss you!
Whenever it is possible I choose H10-Hotels. I like the service and the style of this hotels. H10 Art Gallery is a modern house in the heart of Barcelona. Is not a place where you can find only tourist, you find a lot of catalan people too. Art Gallery is very close to bars, restaurants, ramblas, mini-markets and Metro Station "Diagonal". The service at breakfast is very attentive. You can choose some things from a menu and in the breakfast room is a buffet too. There is nothing you will miss. We booked a superior room with view to the street. Our room was nice and big enough for two persons. I had a look in a standard room and it was a very small room. For two persons I would recommend the superior room if you stay longer there.
My boyfriend and I were staying here when he left his phone in the taxi very late at night. The man working at the front desk talked on the phone with the taxi driver (since neither of us could fully understand what he was saying over the phone), and stayed with us for an hour to help get his phone back. He even offered to call our room when the driver came because it was so late. So grateful for this man's help! The hotel itself was also beautiful.
Stayed at the H10 Art Gallery for 6 nights in August 2017. Hotel's design is quite unique, which we appreciated. Received warm welcome upon checkin. Modern room, with large walk-in shower, storage space and coffee maker. Efficient housekeeping throughout our stay. Excellent breakfast buffet with outdoor seating on the patio available. What we really like is the location: on Enric Granados street, a semi-pedestrian street in a residential neighbourhood. But plenty of quaint restaurants and bars around. Outside the busy city centre of BCN but still close (walking distance to many of the attractions).
Nice, wonderful designed hotel. Amazing location with 20 minutes relaxing walk to the most attractions. Welcoming drinks at check-in. Breakfast sounds a little bit expensive and don't make any sense because of Hundreds restaurants around with the great food.
Our Mediterranean cruise finished in Barcelona and we stayed two nights in the city at this hotel. We were very pleased with our room, which included a private terrace, as we had requested. The front desk was helpful, and the breakfast satisfying. The location was also fairly good, but not as close to the subway as I would have liked.
Spent 2 nights attending Rolling Stones concert in Barcelona. Whilst it is not a 5 star hotel it deserves a 5 star trip advisor rating. The rooms are bright modern and clean and the service at the hotel is very good. The only down side was the tiled floor which meant we could hear the resident in the room above tap dancing in stilettos in the morning.
We had a really nice stay at H10 Art Gallery. There's a warm welcome with the offer of a complimentary drink: Cava or otherwise. The hotel's floors are themed by artists which is a great idea. There's a small but lovely pool on the rooftop: as is typical for Barcelona. The hotel rooms are really well equipped with HD TV, radio, hairdryer, bathroom goody bag with razor, comb etc and a good selection of shampoo and shower gel. If you visit in September the umbrella might be useful too. Our only reservation was the hotel's (and the chain's??) obsession with Nespresso machines: it's a shame to support a 'save water' campaign when there's an unnecessary use of plastic. Other than that we loved it!
I liked this Hotel, i like Andy Warhol so his Pics (and other artists) on the walls appealed to me.Great location, staff were excellent, Hotel spotless, great room, comfy bed, loads of hot water. Strangely, tiny bit of mould on some of shower tiles but hey ho it was a wet room. Only thing disappointing was lack of a formal restaurant but as the Hotel was surrounded by Cafes and Restaurants it wasn't a problem. It had a Cafe of sorts but hmm it was only ok. Having said that breakfasts were excellent. I'd definitely return.
