Most guests will spend most of their time outside, yet the interior of this home has just as much to offer with rustic accents, a spacious layout, and a well-equipped kitchen boasting all necessary appliances. It was nice to be able to spread out with my kids. This place can comfortably sleep 6 in 3 different bedrooms, but the living room only has seating for 5 and the kitchen just has dinning space for 3 (unless the weather is nice, then there is loads of seating on the deck).The road there is steep and winding. It is close to gem mining, the alpine coaster and the open section of the Blue Ridge Parkway.We had a crew show up unannounced to measure something because the homeowner didn't tell them the unit was occupied... but we were also waiting for someone from Vasca because the roof leaked during the storm.

Very nice property close to the slopes. Parking with only one vehicle with a party of six is troublesome but we made it work. Overall a nice ski trip location.

A great stay

We wanted a quiet little place with a fireplace and this was perfect. My husband and I, our two teenagers and my mother in law had plenty of room in this little house. We loved the decor and the view was beautiful. We were there the last weekend of "leaf season" so the first day we could just see the beautiful leaf color by the end we could see Grandfather Mountain and everything else perfectly. It is a perfect little spot, out of the way but also only 3- 4 minutes to restaurants and the grocery store. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Fall Mini Vaca

Enjoyed a weekend getaway in the mountains. Foliage was beautiful. The house was lovely and located in a nice section of Sugar Mountain. Just a short ride to the mountain if we plan to return to ski. House was clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Could hear voices from guests in condo below but not loud enough to disrupt us. King bed was comfortable and soft towels provided for stay. Short rides to Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and local attractions. Would definitely return for another stay.

Comfortable stay

The property was comfortable for our family and in a great location with access to skiing, tubing, and ice skating. There were a few items management had to address after check in (dirty bathroom, microwave didn’t work, broken blind in bedroom, dog waste on private deck, candy wrapper on table, crumbs on nightstand) and the staff addressed the issues in a timely manner. We would stay at this location again and hope management will do a better job cleaning and preparing unit.
