When I booked the hotel, I only booked it for the jacuzzi room. I didn't find out until after I checked in that the room I booked was just an ordinary room, which is my fault, granted. I spent 82$ for a room whose radiator was busted, wall ac was letting in a Draft, and bed was extremely uncomfortable. In the bathroom there is a sign that warns about the fluctuating water temperature in the shower. It gave you tips on how to stabilize the temperature but about every 30 seconds the water went from scalding hot to icy cold. Honestly the travel Lodge in Bangor is more comfortable and cheaper for an ordinary room.

We were in town for a shopping weekend. There were four of us and we had 2 double beds. The room was a nice size, lots of room for us and all our packages. Easy access from parking lot. Staff was very friendly. Bathroom garbage wasn't changed any of our 3 days there, tub and sink not cleaned up each day and tub drain must have a clog because water wouldn't drain immediately and would rise up to ankles while in shower. But room was great, we had a microwave and a fridge and both worked fine. The restaurant beside the office building was fabulous! Food was great, most staff was super and prices were low. Definitely a good find. Motel was a little out of the way for our purposes but that would be the only reason we wouldn't stay there again.

We used this location to access Bangor, Bar Harbor, and Augusta. Great access and roads. Easy, scenic day trips. Kept the prices down for accommodations compared to other areas. Is an older hotel, but had everything we needed and was clean, quiet, and well attended. People friendly and helpful. Restaurant and Walgreens right next door.

The king bed was not comfortable.

Weather was fabulous!!! Went to casino in Bangor. went touring around the coast of Maine

I requested a smoking room. Had to change. Not only did they say the room wasn't as nice. But it was like we were from a different planet because we smoke. No coffee pot in the room. So small that you could barely walk around the bed. Thank God we are not large or we wouldn't have been able to use the rest room! I was embarressed as I was treating my friend to a night out! Very out-dated motel. Staff was fine, but the room was old and run down. Needs serious updating. Could hear water in next room and found myself standing in 3" of water while taking my shower! - and there was some sort of slapped-together STABLE just outside the back. We paid more because the rating was 1 star higher - what were people thinking?

The room was not comfortable or particularly clean. I didn't notice what appeared to be blood stains on the mattress and box spring until we were packing to leave. The management said the hotel was recently remodeled and apparently was in 2007, but it appears that little or no effort has been made to maintain the property. Not even the stoppers for the sink or tub fit and neither held water. The view was several collapsing sheds or outbuildings, piles of rocks and what appeared to be a dumpster enclosure. All and all this was an experience I would not like to have again nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

shopping trip....good location....near everything

We spent one night in a 2 bed room. I do not understand how could this inn has a 3 star rating. It feels just a little better than a motel.

Front desk staff wasn't especially friendly, but efficient. We were in the annex building around the back, which looks like it might have been a separate hotel at one point. There is a little sitting area when you first walk in, and though the hallways are a little dim and dingy and the door seems like it's hollow, the floor itself is actually pretty nice - we had a huge king bed, fireplace (it was too hot for that, of course, but it would have been great in the winter), air conditioner, TV, fridge, microwave, etc. It was all we were really looking for - a comfortable place for an overnight stay at a decent price. The breakfast was included in a "Christian Cafe" and they had homemade blueberry muffins, cereal, bagels, and make-your-own Belgian waffles. For a few dollars you could also get eggs, bacon, etc. Overall, a pretty good deal, if not the most welcoming.

We were just passing through for the night. The room was really big & clean. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was really good as well.
