Golf Courses Alpine Thai Country Club and Royal Gems. this was our first exsperiance of golf in Bangkok travel to each course about 1 hour time enough for a snoose going and returning all three couses fantastic i loved the Thai country club i WON 38 points. The Royal Gems wow words cannot descibe everything abour this course we will be going back very soon put it on your bucket list you will never forget the exsperiance. without a doubt the no 1 course on our tour. our group has been travelling to ASIA for 9 years we used Golf About Asia to make all our booking they always come up with the goods everything well planned and organised give them a go and enjoy the experiance.

This creatively designed golf course gives the average golfer the chance to play holes they have only seen on TV from courses all over the world. Then of course there is the back nine that whilst design ed like the back nine at Augusta lacks some of the ambience of the real course but offers the layout to test yourself. Well worth playing just for the dinner table discussion alone.

Royal Gem is exactly that what a great course , meet and great was friendly, lockers rooms and facilities are regal to say the least, starting Marshall Yui and Caddies were all so welcoming, the course speaks for itself it will slap you if you are not paying it respect ,attention is require from start to finish greens were immaculate only my second visit cant wait to go back again

Played this course with its multiple replica signature holes such as Road Hole, Beth page, postage stamp and others plus a number of Augusta National holes. The course was in excellent condition and is worth the fairly expensive fee. Excellent facilities all round. The caddies were lacking in English and weren’t able to express the nuances of the course adequately for a first time player, but were as helpful as they could be. I would definitely play there again.

Be careful -this place is way below average as a golf course and the accommodation was very poor - 2 stars at best. The advertising is misleading as this golf course has no redeeming feature - boring parkland style in poor condition. Wasted time and money with 4 others, sadly. Bob Goode

This review is not about the resort, but the great Royal Gems golfcourse, which is one of the most enjoyable courses I have played! The concept with replica holes means that every hole is a fun and challenging hole requiring thinking, strategy or precision or often all three combined. Fairways in very good condition, even if a bit soft. Greens good as well, even if the probably can be a bit faster and more challenging when it’s not during rainy season. Only improvement need on the course is the sand in the bunkers which where a bit wet and heavy. Very nice locker-rooms, surprisingly small shop and a good restaurant.

I will not rush back and am not sure if it is worth the while to waste a day to go and play Royal Gems. Saying that, I have played worse golf courses in my life. Everything is a bit tired and needs a facelift.

This as close as you will get to playing the back nine of Augusta. The whole course was in great condition. The front nine is replica of chosen holes from golf courses. The Road hole from St Andrews ,the Postage Stamp from Troon and different courses from America. As stated the back nine is a replica of the back nine from Augusta National. The only thing stopping me from giving this five stars is that the caddies spoke very limited English.Apart from that the whole golfing experience was really good. Highly recommended

The course was in tournament conditions, the greens fast but true. The entire day was a pleasure and thanks to Brian,Mark and Ian from Golf Asian. We had a beautiful lunch in the clubhouse after the game. The caddies were awesome and awesome on the eyes.

We had a enjoyable day here. Slow pace of play behind the Koreans....but a fun day nonetheless. The course is built on the concept of mirroring some of the worlds great golf holes. I shot par on the the RoadHole, but put one in the water on the island green at SawGrass. Did get around Amen Corner in good shape. You get the idea....
