We arrived late after a long journey to a welcoming reception better than most 5 star hotels. Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking the river and water taxi point 13. Yes it is noisy that’s part of Bangkok isn’t it? We heard no noise from the bars in our room.r Breakfast was plentiful and loved the green curry, perfect for me whilst other half enjoyed egg and bacon. Friendly staff on reception and restaurant and perfect for our 2 night stop over especially a couple of hours relaxing at the roof top pool. We would return as location so convenient.

Very nice place. Very well located, breakfast on terrace overlooking the river is a must; roof top pool very nice to relax. Recommend a room with river view, where you can enjoy Bangkok atmosphere. Nice staff.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The location is great, close to Khaosan Road but also close to much quieter streets with nice bars and restaurants. Right on the pier to catch the boat. Breakfast served outside overlooking the river. Good choice of food but unfortunately during our stay the hot food was mostly cold. The rooftop pool is a nice place to relax after a busy day of site seeing. Wi-fi was good. It’s not the most luxurious hotel you’ll find in Bangkok but our room was clean and comfy. We enjoyed our stay and found it good value for money

It is our second trip to Bangkok and we decided to stay for two days in the Navalai River Resort. The service is really good. Our room was pretty big and had a balkony with an amazing view of the river. If you have a room without a balkony you can have the same or even better view from the top of the Hotel. Up there is also a pool and a small bar. Next to the Restaurant is a pier from where you can go to almost all sights. In the Streets next to Hotel, you find a lot of streetfood, restaurants and bars. However if you have an easy sleep its not the best hotel, because you hear every boat arriving and leaving the Pier and they are very loud.

This is our fourth hotel that we’ve stayed in while traveling Thailand and it is disgusting. It is completely outdated. Our first room had stains on all of the chairs. We then waited in the lobby for a new room which was no better, just on a higher floor. We paid almost double the price of the standard room to upgrade and it is awful! The bed is hard as a rock, there are bugs in the washroom and it appears as though it’s not been renovated since the 70’s or 80’s. We stayed in another hotel just down the road a few weeks ago and it was stunning for the same price. This place is a total rip off - do NOT book this! You will regret it just like we do. We literally had the most amazing things to say about Thailand hospitality and hotels until we checked into this horrible hotel a few hours ago.

Ideal location right next to hop on tourist river ferry ,great way to spend a day ,nice room and good breakfast ,not far from area with lot of restaurants and kao San road lively area not noisy and good comfortable bed

Spent 3 nights here in a riverside room, great views and lovely to sit out on the balcony and watch the boats go by. No noise this side of the Hotel but on the 2nd and 3rd night a air conditioning unit seemed to kick in every hour for about 5 mins. As has been said previous the water pressure is not great in the shower but could live with it. Breakfast was good in lovely setting by the river. Room was clean, no issues there. Staff were friendly although were a little vague when I asked about the hop on hop off tourist boat. Would I stay again, yes.

Very noisy and hard to sleep - there's a number of live bars next to the hotel who party until the early morning with speakers outside. Rooms are dated (old bathroom and analogue TV). Water preasure for a shower fluctuates continually. WiFi is very slow ( < 500kb at times). Hotel is very easy to miss as there is no frontage - access is down a side alley. The decor hasn't been updated in a long time. The room corridor has no soft furnishings, which makes every noise echo down the corridor. Room was are 'paper thin'. The only redeeming feature is the rooftop pool and bar ... but even that closes at 8pm, when they put a chain to lock the door. Rooms are clean and staff are pleasant. Breakfast is 250 THB per person on top of the expensive room rate for this area. The location is ok, but not great. Near by are many bars - mostly aimed at tourists and students. In fact, it is hard to find a local socialising here. The golden temple is about 35 mins walk away. The weekend market is a 30 min taxi ride, and it can take up to 1 hour to get to central town for a roof top bar on a skyscraper. Transport links are very limited in this hotel's area until you get to the central area. Taxis is the simplest but they don't like going far (TIP: always insist on the meter for a taxi as they will try to scam foreigners 2 or 3 times the price on a fixed number). There are lots of alternative hotels nearby - please chose somewhere else - we wish we did. This is not a 4* hotel, more like a 2* with clever photographs of the best bits.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. In old town, right next to a great night market with plenty of good, cheap eats. The Phra Arthit pier is literally steps outside of the hotel, which makes it pretty easy to get around, although the National Museum, the Grand Palace, and Wat Pho are all within about a 15 minute walk. The pool's pretty nice and has a good view of the skyscrapers in the distance as well as the Rama VIII bridge. Overall, very good hotel in a great location.

Spent a few nights after arriving in BKK. Close to Khao San Rd but in a calm area just on the Chao Praya River. Extremely friendly staff with super service. Good quality rooms and nice breakfast buffet.
