This is my 4th time in Bangkok. Basically, I’ve seen almost all the touristy spots so I was looking for some serious downtime with a lot of good Thai food, massage, a little bit of shopping and a nice and relaxing place to stay. Kasayapi did not disappoint. Our room is so cozy, with the sound of birds chirping in the morning. I was introduced to some local thai food for breakfast which I haven’t tried before, and a 180 baht Thai massage. Too bad that we weren’t able to bring any swim wear as the pool is so inviting. Oh we’re are also taught by the two sisters to make organic liquid cleaner made out of natural materials. Definitely coming back with some friends again.
This is staycation for me but first time visit to Thailand for my friend. Initially, I planned to stay on the riverside so that it's convenient to visiting the Palace and temples by boats. However, after doing the researches, I found that the riverside hotels are all typical chain hotels. Their decorations are boring and are quite dated. I accidentally came across Kasayapi Hotel and read all the fantastic reviews across all websites. What drawn me to this hotel (apart from all the great reviews) is that they can arrange Thai-style breakfast because my friend wanted to try the typical dishes that local Thai people normally have for breakfast). It's also not so far from Wat Arun, so I think I will give this one a try even though it's not on the riverside. It was indeed the right decision as our entire experience was fantabulous which will definitely have a special place in my friend's memory. if I would give a definition for Kasayapi, It's simply a boutique hotel with homestay-like experience. K.Noom and her staff treated us like we are visiting our relative's house and stay with them. K.Noom shared with us the history of this area and asked us to join her to the local market in the morning so that my friend can offer food to monk too, which I highly recommend everyone. She let us choose the food we wanted to try in the market and everything looks interesting. She bought the food back to set up the table for us at the hotel (she did buy plentifully as she wanted my friend to try a bit of everything (how nice and thoughtful she is!). We really enjoy our trip to the local market and our stay at Kasayapi. The bedroom are spacious and comfy. I even asked her for the pillow detail so I can buy it too. That's how comfy it is. Nothing to complain except that we wish the room had more hooks for hanging something. Location wise, the MRT is literally next door but it will be opened in Aug this year. It's in walking distance to Wat Arun but could take about 15+ mins. However, you can also take Tuk Tuk or taxi for a short ride. In the beginning, my friend wasn't sure whether it was a good idea when I told her that we will change the hotel from Rachaprasong area to this one but after the trip she said that it's worth the moving hassle. Not only we could start visiting the temples early, but she also got to experience the local that she wouldn't have a chance to if she stayed in CBD area. Highly recommended!
We had an amazing time in this beautifully designed hotel. The hotel team took such a great care of us, from checking in to suggestions to an incredible authentic Thai breakfast every morning. It truly is a quiet and peaceful little paradise in the middle of Bangkok with a gorgeous garden and a swimming pool! The location is great. Easy to grab a car to go anywhere in the city. Metro station is due to open later this year, the entrance is right outside the hotel. Each room has a theme of a local landmark—the decor and artwork have a story behind. The rooms are spacious, extremely clean (I can't stress this enough), quiet, and have everything one might need. The bed and pillows are fantastic. Wi-Fi works great throughout the hotel including the garden. We are definitely coming back! Thank you for everything!
After returned to our home town, I asked my 12 years old son, "what's the thing most impressed you about Bangkok ?" He answered me, " the hotel Kasayapi." He explained he liked the spacious garden and the design in guest room. He liked a special place where was the rooftop of the lobby. He liked lying on the chairs watching the stars at night. He also enjoyed the Thai breakfast prepared by hostess. We also thank you for the hostess arranging us local tour with good schedule and good service.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Kasayapi for our first visit to Bangkok, Noom and her team were amazing! They made us feel as though we were at home. We were met with open arms (literally and figuratively). The rooms are extremely clean and chic, each room has it's own theme based on various places in Bangkok. There is a pool and a lovely garden where you can lounge and relax. The whole building is very new, so the facilities are also up to date. Kasayapi is located very close to Wat Arun and other palaces so they are easy to access. It is also about a 10~15 minute taxi (or tuk tuk) ride, which is usually very inexpensive, to Khao San Road which is perfect for those who want to be able to access the fun but not live in the fun. There is also a subway station right outside of Kasayapi that is in it's finishing stages to be used. So that makes for an easy commute not only from the airport, but also to surrounding areas if you don't want to take a taxi! Breakfast was outstanding. Noom, her sister and team cooked us breakfast every morning and brought us something new to try. Instead of a typical western style breakfast, they prepared local cuisines that we likely wouldn't have tried before. The presentation was also picture worthy! Next time we go to Bangkok, we will be staying again. (:
I spent last weekend at KASAYAPI hotel, Room #8 "Kudi Chin" is beautifully decorated with a small terrace and everything in room is new. The location of this hotel is where you can walk (or take tuk-tuk if prefer) to enjoy the old heritage of Bangkok and also delicious local/street food. Warm welcome, homey, lovely host. I will definitely come back again.
I like the decor that is filled with a lot of stories that have been listened to and will not be boring. It like we are visit our close relatives with a warm welcome and would like to go back again. Convenient and nice place
