Over-all, our experience in the hotel was very good. I just don't like it when they are only providing 1 key card and you will need the card to enable the electricity in the room by inserting it in a slot. Once you leave to go somewhere, you will remove it and all electricity will be off including the fridge which makes it unable to leave some food or medication in it.

This hotel is a good value. It is a little bit more expensive than I would have liked, but I had a problem with another booking and had to make a last minute substitution. This was one step up in cost and only their most expensive room was available but I felt it was worth it. The Deluxe Room has an additional twin bed which was not needed but it is nice for those traveling with extra members. There was a small table which was convenient. The shower had weak water pressure and getting in and out of it was problematic due to the way the sliding glass doors are arranged. The issues were not serious enough to affect my overall score. I needed to be in the area near the Lak Song MRT station and while iCare is located at the end of a narrow alley, it was still an extremely walkable 10 minutes or so. This street itself is rather cramped and has enough traffic to feel it. At the station is direct access to a nice, modern shopping mall (The Mall) that has a lot of options for shopping and dining. There are a couple small night markets and convenience stores. I found the building and the surrounding area particularly safe. The system of electronic doors and staff on duty gives the impression that no one unauthorized will be getting in. I did not utilize it, but in the lobby, many snacks and drinks are available which is very convenient (the nearby convenience stores were also, which is why I didn’t use it). I liked staying here, but I don’t think I will do so again.

Counter staff average. Restaurant was on cash bases. I use credit. Bed was not soft. Sink and shower not properly cleaned. No hand bar soap. Tripping hazard at bathroom threshold due to 3/4 difference in surface. Would stub toe every single time.
