The night receptionist was a wonderful lady, I had an early arrival, she offered me a safe place to crash. The early receptionist was so unfriendly, I paid 1000 baht for an early check in not an issue. The room I was offered, was in the new building with tiny corridors and steps with mattresses on the wayside. Lift from one floor to the other old building. Very confusing, a fellow quest had to show me the way. I requested a room change as I was becoming anxious. Eventually got a room in the old building. I was harassed by the breakfast waitress, as soon as I served my breakfast, she accosted me at the middle of the floor for payment, I told her to let me place my food on the table as the money was in my waist bag. I started eating as the food was getting cold, she kept on harassing me for money, pacing up and down staring at me as if I was going to do a runner because of 199 baht i recorded everything.

The staff wasn't very helpful. I had asked them to write down locations in Thai and they refused, our room didn't get cleaned one of the three days there, and they tried to tell us to take a 400 baht taxi to the airport, after some online research we found out we could take a metered taxi for under 200 baht. The area it is located in is good for shopping and massages.

Har varit 4 dagar på den hotellet. litet rum, mycket oväsen från luftkondition så att man får huvudvärk, doshen var litet du kan bara snurrar dig runt, doshen satt fast vid vägen då var man tvången att hålla dushen med ena handen hela tiden. mycket gammal och sliten hotell, städare fyllde inte grejer varje dag typ tvål, tandborste osv, Frukosten var usel, liknande en vandrarhem, frukostsalen var mycket liten , mycket oväsen av många kinesiska barn familjer. har varit många gånger i bangkok detta var den värsta hotellet som jag varit på.

Awesome!

Room was awesome. Love the dark romantic feel to it. Clean and spacious. Towels changed everyday and with complimentary 1.5L bottle of water. Hotel is near shopping markets and malls. It's really very convenient! Staff were friendly. And i will definitely be staying First House again the next time I'm there!
