it looks like old property....really needs renovation...rooms small,,,,,i can barely walk after placing 3rd bed for kid...oddly designed....small LCD tv ,looks like kept it to mention that they have tv otherwise useless... real problem is staff...reception staff, some smiles but some just surviving, filling the space.....same with restaurant in lobby....we went for dinner ( we soon realised , it was big mistake..) since heavy rain, we thought we didn't had choice..evan though in whole restaurant we 3 people were there waitress wanted us to sit at her suggested table ,upon refusal by us, we witnessed arrogant attitude...some other lady came in with sane attitude... its hotel for business travellers , not for families..
The hotel is situated just a little off the mainstream. However, it is within walking distance to Neon Downtown Night Market, Central and Erawan. Like the unobstructed view from my room, the gym and the breakfast. The staff are helpful n rooms are spacious. There is also many massage shop and eateries in the area.
The hotel was decent. It was nicer than I was expecting for a hotel in Thailand. We did have some issues: for instance, the first night we were there the roof next to our bathroom caved in and poured out water. We turned it in and they just cleaned up the water but kept us in the room. It did it again a few hours later so we called our travel agent. They then upgraded us to an incredible room. We were happy that they eventually took action to fix the problem. It is in the middle of a shopping area. We were excited about this until we started to explore. We didn't feel safe walking around the area around the hotel. Once you get farther from the hotel things feel a little safer. The directions to that area were to turn at the 7/11 convenience store. Conveniently there is a 7/11 on every corner so we had no idea where to turn. But once you find it the mall is very nice and theres a night market that is kind of cool. I dont think we would stay here again. We are glad we got to experience Bangkok but I think we would choose a different hotel if we were to go again.
I stayed here when was in Bkk two times. Hotel located in the center, room was clean and superb! The view from room was awesome, 25 floor, you see whole BKK from windows :) Totally sure about this hotel for next time!
This hotel is situated near Indian Town in Bagkok so expect an overcrowded hotel. When we checked in, the front desk gave us a wrong room, the keycard wasnt working so we have to go back again to ground floor to tell them card not working. They gave upgraded us to a bigger room but when we enter, the room smells like cigarrette smoke mix with indian curry smell coming from the carpet. Buffet was chaotic, i feel like im not in Bangkok anymore. 90% of guests were Indians. I dont have any issues with them but i just didnt expect to be an Indian hotel.
we had been there for 3 nights and it was nice experience with Eastin. They are specific about check in and check out timing. Staff were co-operative. Hotel is very near to platinum mall and indra market where we can enjoy shopping. Platinum mall is comparatively cheap than the other mall. Will suggest to visit the hotel.
The room was very clean and the view was absolutely breathtaking as we were on the 25th floor. As we entered our luggage was taken and we were directed to the lobby. The check in took some time but we were given a welcome drink which was very refreshing. However our luggage took nearly an hour to reach our room. Despite us calling the front desk 3 times. The breakfast buffet was very good and had a lot of variety. Also the front desk does offer currency exchange but on the 2 days that I asked they said they did not have any and directed me to a currency exchange out of the hotel. However the check out was very fast. Overall the experience was good.
poor experience from hotel staff.. management team.. face many issues which they have not resolved.. they just note down issue but not try to resolve.. i need just one zerox copy of my bill they have charged me for 70 baht.. i think that is too much expensive for one copy.. overall not getting as expected.. not recommended
If you like to go to Platinum, pratunam market & Talad Neon then is a good location. It's closed by to central embassy which has a very recommended food court (EATHAI). - - Room wise quite big although kind of old fashion but they have to improve the Front Desk Officer who handle us at the time of check in w. no smile at all & we arrived there around 8 pm with no queue & it took him almost 20 min to check us in! - Pool area big enough to do lapses & they also provide new equipment at the gym. - -- --- Thumbs up with the concierge they are informative & efficient. - At first they have problem w/ internet connection in our room but they rectify it immediately nearby the hotel at petchabury alley there's a restaurant called the avenue, they serve super yummy Tom Yam Kung!
