We stayed at Bhiman Inn for two nights, perfect to be close enough to Koh San Road but also far enough away for a quiet night. Staff where so friendly and polite. Was meant to be a fee to store our bags all day but didn't get charged this! Would stay again! The bathroom isn't the nicest but good enough for a few day trip. Air con was brilliant and lovely pool out the back
Found this place minutes after running away from a hideous hotel down the road. It was cheaper, not far from the main entertainment, quiet and spacious rooms. There was also a pool which was nice and view of the river, as well as being next to 2 7 elevens. The air conditioning was a bit dodgy though (kept going hot and cold) and some how a few Mosquitos kept creeping in the room. Cleaning service was excellent and delivered us more toilet paper and water even though we didn't let them come in to clean the room. Thought the mirrored doors in the hallway gave quite a cool effect, and we had a little birdy nesting outside our window. Overall great budget hotel
A budget friendly place with good proximity to Khao San road and the pier. The air conditioning was amazing and worked really well in the humid Bangkok heat. Great for people with mobility issues with a ramp and lift, however it's hard for them to get into the pool with the steep stairs. There is no balcony and the view is a wall of the building beside It. It was good for what we paid for which was 37 a night. Some issues we had was the bed was rock hard, for us traveling as a couple were slightly taken aback to see we were given a room with two separate beds, so we ended up pushing the beds together. Another little issue we had is that to get all power and lights you have to insert the key card and ours was broken so it didn't work for more than 5 minutes which was very annoying. Other than that, it was a good stay.
very good for 1-2 nights stay in Bangkok, pros - perfect localization, during the night it was quiet; cons - average room, expensive taxi from hotel – get one on the street, staff was polite but not really helpful. Overall - it was OK.
Booked 2 nights here.. but was disappointed as pictures on booking.com made them look better than they actually are.. Bad points There's 1 usable plug socket in the room.. Air-con was either on or off as controls broken so couldn't change temp.. Rooms are dark and dated.. Pool area is right by the river and would look like somewhere that's good for mozzies and didn't look like it got a lot of sun! Wi-Fi was very poor Can get better hotels for the money we paid which were based on Khao San Road with roof top pools which we stayed at on our first night in Bangkok but weren't too sure about the noise levels so opted for this hotel instead for our last 2 nights.. Good points.. It's within walking distance of Khao San Road and places like the Grand Palace The room we had on the 4th floor was quiet Has 2 7-11s right next to hotel Beds were comfy Shower pressure and temp was very good Although rooms were dated.. rooms were clean and linen was nice Has a fridge I wouldn't stay here again but is adequate if you need it for a night or 2
Booked this hotel from the airport to save us from looking for a place. Rooms are clean but there is not much storage space, shower had plenty of hot water and decent pressure. One big downside is that aircon is uncontrollable so it's either on full power or then off completely, otherwise an okay place to stay for a night or two.
We spent with my mum 1 night there and in general it was ok taking into consideration that it is only one night. Minuses: the room was not ready when we arrived, the reception lady couldn't find our reservation and she insisted that we have to book again (nonsense!), no breakfast included, very poor restaurant in terms of food, the floor in the room was dirty. Pluses: excellent location next to the backpacking street and river, affordable.
Stayed here our first 3 nights in Bangkok. Got bus from airport 100b pp to Khao San rd. Bhiman only 1.5 blocks away. Friendly staff, clean pool, room serviced daily and from our room we couldn't hear a sound! Hard mattress but great sleep. Walking distance to Khao San rd, the pier 13 for ferry to temples only 5 minutes walk. Very conveniently located. Taxi to Southern bus st for Kanchanaburi is around 180b . We didn't eat here so can't comment. Would definitely recommend.
Nice hotel in Khao San area, but away from the noise and madness of Khao San road itself, full of bars and discos. This is a good choice if you want a centric place, but quieter than Khao San road. It has a nice swimming pool and my room was spacious and neat.
If you want to stay in Banglamphu near the major tourist attractions like Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun and close by Khao San road, but far enough away from it's hustle and bustle, Bihmann Inn is an affordable choice. Don't expect too much from the rooms. You get a good value for your money, which means a small clean room and that's it. The hotel (rathermore a guest house) is located near Phra Sumen fort and just a few minutes walk from Phra Athid pier, the easiest option if you want to get away from this area. Staff is'nt the friendliest in Thailand ( which you won't find in this area!), but helpful. The hotel has a small pool, which I didn't use.
Located in Banglamphu within a short walk of Khao San Road, Bhiman Inn is within a mile (2 km) of other popular sights such as Temple of the Emerald Buddha. This 45-room, 3-star hotel welcomes guests with a restaurant, an outdoor pool, and free in-room WiFi. Grand Palace and Wat Pho are also near this Bangkok hotel.
Enjoy a bite to eat at Rossin, the hotel's onsite restaurant. Savor a meal from the comfort of your room with room service, or get a quick energy boost at the coffee shop/café. Start each morning with cooked-to-order breakfast, available for a fee from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
All 45 air-conditioned rooms feature refrigerators, free bottled water, and phones. 21-inch TVs come with cable channels, and guests can stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include desks and free toiletries.
Guests staying at Bhiman Inn enjoy an outdoor pool, free WiFi in public areas, and a garden. The front desk is staffed 24/7 to help with dry cleaning/laundry, luggage storage, and securing valuables.
