Great Sukhumvit 33 location

Rating would be higher but there's construction next door that's a bit noisy during the day, depending on the room location wifi can be either good or bad, and the pool is currently closed for maintenance. Otherwise Beverly33 is a great spot.

OKAY. Good Area

Suites are good, clean, and staff friendly. In-suite laundry. Convenient area. But, Beverly 33 is getting expensive considering the pool is closed for repair, the 'free' wifi is basically non-existent, so terrible for business, TV reception is worse than1960s rabbit ears, and there's a massive construction project next door creating some noise!

Decent Property, Poor Customer Service

I had inquired prior to my arrival about getting a room on the top floor but the hotel was unable to accommodate. I requested a room with a view at least upon check-in, but was told only rooms on the first level were available. I also asked for a second room key since me and my wife may have wanted to leave the apartment at different times. Our request was denied and was told someone would have to let us in if one of us didn't have the key to get in. After my requests at check in the staff spoke about me behind my back in Thai but my wife and friends overheard since they speak Thai. The woman who checked us in did not have a customer service oriented attitude, but rather seemed inconvenienced by my requests. Also, upon entering the room found only one shredded towel to accommodate 2 people. We did request new towels and they were given promptly. The room itself had a view of the metal wall placed around the adjacent construction site. Its not something that was mentioned upon booking. The noise from construction began around 5am and was a little disruptive. The room itself was nice and well designed, but was poorly maintained. The couch was frayed and worn. The bathroom had mildew in the grout lines and caulk around the tub. The kitchen faucet leaked and was loose. The sheets and pillow cases had small holes in them. The hot water was not hot. If it wasn't for the preventable pitfalls, proper maintenance, repairs, and better guest relations, it could be a good

Not a Hotel, Serviced Apartment + Hotel Services

Not a Hotel, a Serviced Apartment with Hotel Services hidden in quiet Soi 33. Note that Sukhumvit Soi 33 has few massage shops with masseuse girls outside their shop trying to get customers, meant no harm & will not disturb family walking past. Have 2 x 7-Eleven and 1 x Family Mart operating 24 hours, Villa Supermarket located just outside Soi 33 at the main road & not forgetting some local street food stalls many different restaurants ranging from Japanese, Korean, Thai, American food & so on. Apartment is 40sqm 1 Bedroom with Separate Bathroom, Kitchen, Living Room & Balcony. 2 big Samsung TV with HDMI worked well with my laptop, 2 Aircon (1 in Living Room 1 in Bedroom), Washing Machine at balcony, Functional Kitchen allows cooking but have to call reception to request a big basket of cooking utensils. Saw reviews of HDMI not working, smelly toilet, wear & tear as Apartment was built & operated since 2013, always helpful to resolve all these problems by Building Management Staff else change room which I encountered previously as stayed here many times. Staff Service Levels maintained well, I encountered twice putting "Do Not Disturb" sign & locked my door yet Housekeeping Staff opened door with Master Key asking to clean room which really surprised me and I politely replied "2 hours please, I go out & you can clean room Thank you". Not forget Roof Top Infinity Pool & Gym also new Tuk Tuk Service. Hope my detailed review will benefit & enjoy happy holidays, Cheers!

Amazing cute little hotel in a great location

Location was key - great food, bars, and shopping within walking distance. The POOL is simply amazing. Super friendly staff and easy check in process. Free coffee + milk tea all day long (machine in lobby).

could have informed us earlier

upon arrival, was told that the rooms we booked were not available due to construction works beside the hotel causing the room tiles to break. Thus unable to stay. Hotel staff apologised and helped to book around other hotels nearby.

Highly recommended

Fairly new and fresh hotel. More of a serviced apartment approach. Good size rooms with loads of facilities; pretty much all you need for a longer stay including DVD player, washing machine and kitchenette. Bedding was very nice with big comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful. Roof pool small but within nice atmosphere to chill out. Gym had limited equipment but it is new and worked. A brief 5 minute stroll to BTS with option of free tuk tuk . This is one of the best value for money places we have stayed in BKK. Will be back

Great value for 1-br apartment

Enjoyed my stay at Beverly 33. Room (apartment) was simple but had everything I needed. The washing machine on the balcony was a nice convenience. Good location -- short walks to BTS, various restaurants, grocery/convenience stores, entertainment, etc. I did not have any problems with the wifi. Great value if you are looking for a simple, clean, spacious, quiet place to stay.

Some issues: wifi was spotty and sometimes not working. TV reception was a bad joke, the TVs (there were 2 in the suite) were useless. Bed was very good. Extra plus for washer/dryer on the balcony. There is no breakfast at the hotel. Gym is tiny and not much weights or equipment. Would return because of standard, suite and location-location-location.

Great stay

It was great! I didn't realise that the hotel also doubled up as a serviced residence, so I should have booked it for longer stays instead of just one night. Anyway, it was easy to find, has a great pool, gym and other facilities, and the service staff was extremely courteous. The wifi was spotty, so don't expect it to be great for calls and other things, but it worked for basic Internet searches etc. I loved the room I had!

Nice place up Soi 33. A little difficult to hail motorbike or taxi. About 10 minute walk to Sukhumvit. Only two towels provided. No small towels or shower caps or instant coffee for the morning. Nice stay, but a little additional attention to the items above would have made it better
