A Fabulous Cotswold Cottage

Little Barford Mill has given our group of 8 friends the most fabulous Spring break. It is truly wonderful in all respects - position within a lovely farm and with delightful walks direct from the door; decor, furnishings and equipment; gorgeous rural views and a delicious cake on arrival to boot! We loved it and hope to return.

One of the nicest places we’ve stayed

Little Barford Mill was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed at. Was perfect for 5 couples, all very comfortable , clean and very beautifully done .

OMG can’t rate this property high enough. Stayed for 3 nights for my partners 60th with friends. The cottage is just stunning with every room beautiful. Very well equipped with a scrummy cake upon arrival. Tom the manager was exceedingly helpful, just a shame we were a bit early for lambing. Went to George Inn for Sunday roast which was lovely. Will defo go back

Fabulous property

This property was the perfect venue to celebrate a family birthday. It is beautifully designed and v stylish - straight out of ‘Country Living’. The fact that each bedroom is en suite was brilliant. Highly recommended- we’ll certainly be returning. Also, the information from StayCotswolds was timely and well-judged making the whole process very easy.

Perfect Country Getaway to Unwind

The most relaxing country stay with friends, the perfect place to switch off and wind down. The house was absolutely spotless, and cooking there was a real pleasure with everything you could possibly need at hand. There was plenty of space for our group to come together comfortably, while still feeling warm and cosy at the same time. Everyone slept incredibly well; the bed linen and pillows were truly first class. Evenings were spent curled up in the cosy living room, chatting and relaxing, which made it feel like home straight away. A lovely, comfortable place that made our time together extra special — we’d happily stay again!

Amazing stay

If you are thinking of booking little barford mill, do it, you won't be disappointed! We spent 3 nights for my 40th birthday celebrations, and for 9 of us and 2 dogs, it was perfect! Comfortable, clean, well appointed, beautiful scenery, great hot tub, you really couldn't ask for more. It's a really special place and we wouldn't hesitate in booking again.

Our stay here was amazing! Beautiful place and really friendly, helpful owner. The accommodation is very clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated with lots of lovely touches including a very tasty cake on arrival! Would highly recommend staying here.

Such a beautiful property - we felt spoilt!

Everything was perfect. Everything in the property was outstanding quality & the building is so beautiful with original exposed beams, water wheel - simply amazing. The owners were so friendly and great they are so near if there were any issues (which there weren't). Amazing location with great views. So peaceful as well. We highly recommend the property and will definitely be returning.

Brilliant stay at Little Barford Mill

We had an amazing stay at Little Barford Mill for my Dads 60th birthday weekend. The cottage was extremely well equipped and clean, and the surrounding area was beautiful with stunning views. We already can’t wait to come back!

Excellent house for a family party

We booked Little Barford Mill for a multi generational family party. The property was stunning with everything we needed plus a luxurious hot tub and great walks straight from the door. The enclosed garden was great for the dog. We really appreciated the Victoria sponge cake (bake off worthy!), the fresh flowers and the luxurious bathrobes and bed linens. The owners were charming, friendly and on hand if required. The location was quiet but well placed for seeing the Cotswolds. We enjoyed a Sunday lunch at the local pub (The George) which was walking distance away.

Fabulous family weekend

9 of our family spent the weekend in Little Barford Mill, to celebrate my 75th birthday. What a fantastic stay, the house was tastefully restored, clean, warm and had everything we needed. The owner was nearby and so extremely friendly. We would love to return to this beautiful house in the wonderful location.

Great short stay in the countryside

We had a lovely stay at Little Barford. The kids enjoyed watching the tractors go by and the grown ups admired the peaceful surroundings. Lots to do a short drive away - we’d recommend Cotswold Wildlife Park. The house had lots of homely touches that made us feel welcome such as freshly baked cake and flower displays.

Fabulous Place

Little Barford Mill is a fabulous place to stay, so peaceful and lovely to stay on a working farm. The hosts were quick to sort anything out for us and warm and friendly. It’s a great location for getting about in the Cotswolds. Fantastic local walks. Loved the hot tub and garden spaces being able to watch and listen to the wildlife. Very well stocked kitchen, they have really thought through everything you may need and a delicious home made Victoria sponge sat waiting for us in the fridge. We loved our relaxing stay so much - thank you. Just one suggestion a long mirror for dressing would to add to already beautiful decor.

August weekend stay

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Little Barford Mill to celebrate a 70th birthday. The house met our expectations in every way and the little extra touches - fresh cake to welcome us, wild flowers in all the rooms, made it all very special. The setting lent itself to a private, relaxed and special weekend.

Fantastic Accommodations in the Cotswolds

I cannot say enough nice things about Little Barford Mill, it was absolutely perfect for our time away. The building has so much space and character, and it is so nicely done. The location is peaceful and has trails right outside the door and there are many nice little villages a short drive away for anything you may need. Every member of my family thought this place was perfect.

Gorgeous cottage in stunning location

This was the perfect cottage for a group of friends - immaculate, super comfortable and spacious accommodation. Thoughtful touches such as the beautiful flowers in all the rooms and delicious home made cake on arrival made it so welcoming. And the setting is stunning. Simply the best

An absolutely stunning, well thought out space with a real sense of peace and tranquility. We were a family of 10 and a 4 week old baby but it felt like we all had our own ‘apartments’ and were not on top of each other. It was magical to see the ponies grazing from our bedroom in the mornings. Just wished we’d booked it for the week. Thank you to Tom and team.
