The staff is amazing, polite, friendly, helpful !Only reason i would go back. Easy check in. Clean. The location is very central easy to go anywhere by Uber, but no restaurant close by that you can walk to, surroundings a bit shabby so it depends on what you want, The lobby is beautiful. The furniture in the rooms is dated and chipped, not what you would expect for the price

It was a pretty decent hotel. Breakfast included. Area around not the best but during the day we didn't have any problem walking back from the convention center to the hotel. Friendly hosts. Clean and comfortable beds.

That it was once a bank.

The hotel is taking in homeless people but they don’t let you know this so your experience walking inside is quite scary. Also, the neighborhood where the hotel is located is very poor and run down. The hotel should have a disclaimer about this too. Management has a “head in the sand” attitude about all of this.

Ok. Good experience. Parking was extra. Overall was good

This Holiday Inn Express showcases the best of Old Baltimore. It’s in a restored old bank building and has nice historic touches everywhere. The room was clean and had a fridge, microwave, Keurig-style coffee pot, and TV (as well as beds and a nice bathroom). The staff were friendly and helpful. The elevators worked and there was even a gym. Vending machines and ice were present on most floors. The free breakfast was very good. Parking was in a lot right behind the hotel, and the area around the hotel was well-lit at night. There is also a 7-11 right next to the hotel, which was convenient. The harbor side district is about a fifteen minute walk (all well-lit) or five-minute drive/Uber away. Seriously, there’s no need to stay at some high-priced hotel where they don’t include breakfast, don’t have vending and ice machines, and don’t have fridges and microwaves in the rooms when you can stay here. This hotel is historic and charming and has literally everything you’d need.

All good not much parking. Friendly staff. Our friends and I couldn't be on the same floor though. We checked in at 4pm and they said we couldn't be on the same floor.

Rough area of Baltimore. Felt a little threatened.

Can't really do anything about the neighborhood. Would definitely not be walking around at night.

With the exception of one, everyone at the desk and the shuttle drivers were very nice and helpful! I was there 5 days and my room was cleaned everyday with new towels provided without asking. There isn't much immediately around the hotel EXCEPT Ida B's Table, a delicious soul food restaurant with great staff, food and experience but I was able to take the shuttle to the convention center and the inner harbor, the two main places I needed to go. They could add more machines in the "fitness room". Overall, I had a great experience on this property

I had a morning appointment at Johns Hopkins, and the hotel provided free shuttle service there. Also, good selection for breakfast, friendly, helpful staff.

Terrible staff, wretched area Across the street from juvenile detention center

Had to pay for parking. This cost added to hotel price was not worth the stay.

The shuttle driver,Carlos, was so very accommodating and always with a smile.even getting us to the ballpark during rush hour! The 2girls at the desk (Karen and Rita) were also great. We have been here 3times. Great because it is half way to the inner harbor and half way to Camden yards. Very good free breakfast also.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast person kept everything well stocked. Shuttle was a nice idea but uncomfortable and crowded so we used uber a few times.

Stayed for 2 nights to catch a couple baseball games over the weekend. Hotel was clean, and the room was spacious. Their breakfast was good. The hotel shuttle was great, and the drivers were prompt and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone ! Two thumbs up !

Hotel was a good price and great location. Close to Inner Harbor and other downtown attractions.

next door to the homeless shelter, so the neighborhood is seedy. parking is $15 a night, but the lot is too small and i was unable to find a parking spot. moldy bathroom

Thank you for your feedback. Please note that we definitely do not take in any homeless people. I am not sure where this confusion is coming from, but we ask that you contact us so that we may address your concerns more directly.
