Didn’t clean rooms due to covid

the person in the front desk made us feel comfortable - I forgot her name but she was extremely helpful! we are traveling from NYC to FL so we stopped by MD to rest. I made a foolish mistake by booking a room on a different day so I was worried we weren't going to be able to get a room (it was late night, around 11:45pm already). She was able to move our reservation date and got us a room! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I Wanted the option to have the room fan on all the time. The white noise helps me sleep.

Did not get requested 2 queen beds. Had to switch rooms due to unchanged bed linens. Hotel in general seems dark and dated in both rooms and public areas. Beds comfortable and rooms quiet but will not choose this property again.

The hotel was pretty busy - so much so that we arrived too early to check in (my fault) and the room wasn't ready. Despite that, the menu was very limited - sandwiches and booze. The gym was great - glad it was open. Glad the pool was open for the families that thought to bring swim suits. Front staff was very helpful on check in, second check in, and switching rooms when the door's lock malfunctioned before we could ever gain entry to our room. One suggestion would be to let guest know that if they park at a different location within the parking lot, they won't have to lug all of their bags and sports' gear (in town for a tournament) from one end of the hotel to literally the very last possible room in the hotel.

The bed had blood on it not one room but two different room they can do better

I ENJOYED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE HOTEL. THE PROBLEM FOR ME WAS THE ANTS ON THE BATHROOM FLOOR AND THE CEILING IN THE BATHROOM SEEM TO HAVE WATER DAMAGE .

The staff were all very friendly, the Tim was comfy and clean, and as small as this may sound.. I loved the bathroom products. There was a crazy wedding going on & it was loud, but I understand "the moment"for the guests to all party. Not the hotel's fault. The place is A+

I liked the decor. All of the staff was very friendly. The breakfast could be better.

Able to check-in early and get a king bed ... excellent!!!

Most disappointing is the poor quality of bathroom Firing handles were lioose, Toilet was a small round but with an elongated seat. Cheap and wrong. Uncomfortable.

I stayed here 17 months ago with my wife after Wyndham took over. It was essentially a shell with no restaurant and only the minimal of a bar (wine cellar had been removed). There has been a total renovation of the rooms and hallways and wifi is working. A Starbucks with limited hours was added but the place lacks any character. When I asked about a refrigerator for the room I was told $15/night but they were all out. Couldn't find a vending machine on the floor per sign and the bathroom sink was cracked. The rates vary from $89-$137/night for the same room on-line but I can't bring myself to go back to this once great hotel at the end of the month. Maybe if you want a totally quiet environment for a stay this is it and the personnel are great.

The hotel rooms have beer refurbished due to new ownership. The décor is stylish and monochromatic. the king-sized bed was extremely comfortable. There was some type of convention nearby for teenagers. While the large group as a whole was active and energetic, there was no disturbance to other guests.

Hunt Valley Inn has been an area icon for years. On this visit, I was pleased to see that Wyndham was refurbishing the place. I was displeased that no mention of it was made in their online posting. The entrance and lobby were being redone so check in (temp set-up in a ballroom) was a bit awkward as you couldn't park outside the main or temp entrance. And while I guess it was to give me a quiet room during the work, the hotel was more or less empty but I was given a room around the far back of this large, spread out hotel. The room was beautifully done but the hallways and stairs were a bit dirty/dusty because of the ongoing renovations. I wasn't able to sample much else. The staff was very accommodating and said that the main lobby reno work should be done by early Nov 2014. Easy on/off to I-83 and lots of dining options of all types nearby,

It's decent and nice but housekeeping needs major improvement.
