When checking in was told the pool was not working. I indicated the pool was why I selected this hotel since I had our grandkids with us. Was told that is not her problem and take that up with Expedia:( our room was less than that of what I had expected. Needed 2 light bulbs for the lamps. When I asked for them at the front desk, because the phone in the room didn’t work, the receptionist was very rude and said she got my request hours ago. The ceiling in the room was patched up, patches on the screens, bathroom floor was never swept, loose dirt in the bathtub, door handle cover falling off. I asked for a couple extra towels and was handed folded dirty towels by the cleaning lady! Immediately gave them back & showed her the dirt spots. When I stripped the bedding on the underside of the comforter at the bottom of the bed were some nasty brown stains. I was taught at Hospitality Hotels, anything with stains are to be tossed and not reused. The mattress pad was on the bed upside down. Paying a little over $400.00 for a weekend stay the cleanliness was less than expected as well as the attitude of the check in host.
