the room is always so homey and so comfortable. the ambiance is always the best. the decor enhance the feeling of living in Bali. traditional yet modern interior design which really is worth every dime.
Room very big with a kingsize bed. Room was nice and good with a big wardrobe so I can put a lot of things in the wardrobe. Mini refrigerator available in room. The bathroom was very nice. It's look like an open air bathroom, so be carefull when you used this bathroom in the evening/nite time....the mosquito was very bad and also the mosquito in the room bed room, it's so anoying you. My advice : Buy anti mosquitoes and used it before you sleep. The pool in front of room looks very nice, but when I stay there, the pool looks dirty. But the environment around the room/pool was very good. So silent, so peace & I can sleep in the balcony accompany by the birds voices. I like this hotel, I like the environment, I like the simple breakfast from this hotel and I like the smile from the neighbourhood.
My girlfriend and I had booked this hotel weeks ago - we were very exited to see this hotel because of the pictures. But we couldnt stand out the conditions from this bad hotel! We was forced to check out within an hour. The Roms was so dirty and there is absolutly No room service. Not Even water is available! The elementary school is next to the hotel and therefore alot of noice. If you Are considering this hotel - rethink, dont dont dont.
We booked a room for only one night at the Taman Suci Suite and Villas, to serve as a stop-over between flights. We had read many reviews and I was slightly apprehensive about this hotel, but overall, we have to admit that despite its shortcomings, this was the most atmospheric hotel of the various ones we stayed at during our long holiday in Indonesia this year. Location: In a quiet neighborhood side-street, next to a school (we could hear children singing), with no shops or restaurants close by. Print out a map to the hotel before you go as the driver might have a hard time finding it (no name on the front). Grounds: Stunningly beautiful – and the reason I would possibly stay there again. Pool: Clean Staff: Very friendly and accommodating Room: We had booked a villa with a private plunge pool. When we arrived, I was delighted with the room. It was huge, the bed as well, nicely decorated (just a bit tired). There was a safe, but it didn’t work (and given the late time we arrived, we did not ask for it to be fixed). Complimentary water; sufficient sockets. Tea/coffee making facilities provided (but no tea bags or coffee), Bathroom: Flusher did not work properly. Only one big towel per person. Shower gel and shampoo from a dispenser; no soap, body lotion or conditioner. Private plunge pool: did not work. Cleanliness: That was the problematic aspect. When we arrived, there was a dead cockroach in the room. The young man who had carried our suitcases in seemed rather amused by my shrieking and simply removed the cockroach without any comments or apologies. Besides that, the room gave the impression of not having been cleaned properly (bathroom the same). Breakfast: limited; you can order omelet, and are served some slices of toast and jam; a glass of juice; coffee/ tea. Overall: the hotel has great potential, given its beautiful grounds – it just needs to invest in care and cleanliness. Yet, given its price (approx 25 Euro/ night, incl. breakfast), it is value for money.
The photos online look really beautiful but, nothing is clean or works! We requested airport tranfers, they said no after we landed. We get to the One Bedroom VIlla (which was a studio with no kitchenette) and the doors dont open, the lights were all broken, the bedding had blood on it, the bathroom smelt like mould, the SPA DOES NOT WORK, there was food in the cups from who knows how long ago, and the Manager is a lazy female who needs to give her night watch a pay rise because he had to change the sheets etc. We arrived in Bali at ^pm and didnt get there till 11pm due to NO AIRPORT TRANSFER SERVICE
The villa is nice and quiet but the surrounding is not properly maintained.. Cleanliness of the room is just average. Limited breakfast option. The thing is it far from town n difficult to get cab. We took the hotel tour package to visit the place of attraction. The driver is friendly and helpful.
Approx 10 apartments and two private villas situated in the grounds of a residential Bali home around a 5 minutes taxi drive to Sanur at a cost of 50,000 IDR (make sure the driver knows its Suite and Villas or they will try take you to the Taman Suci Hotel in Denpasar center on your return). It has a decent sized swimming pool and outside seating. Each villa has its own plunge pool and Bale. This place is definitely not 5 star, but I knew that before I booked. American breakfast was included in the nightly rate of around £22 per room for a villa. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, but not the actual tea and coffee, not to worry as we had our own. We were the only persons there at the time and had the pool to ourselves and no restrictions as to when we could use it. The best thing about this place was the quietness and beautiful traditional gardens, the few staff that were there were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much bother and they were very keen to improve their English. Our room was cleaned once a day with fresh sheets and towels provided. Again not sparkly white and fluffy, but they did the job. The bed was very comfy and so enormous you could fit 4 people in there! The aircon was efficient too. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Tama Suci, hence the very good - its our idea of Bali. The peace and quiet and relaxed atmosphere was what we needed to recover from our long flight from the UK. If you can get past the fact its not directly in the tourist areas and that it is basic and very simple with no frills then perhaps consider it.
Booked with airline package.bad mistake 3 star?? Not even 1.nothing worked smelly unclean villa.linen worn stained threadbare. Electricity goes off all the time.booked for 10 nights . couldn't do more than 2.said it haf massages 24 hr restaurant and a gym It has none of these advertised facilities. Breakfast disgusting toast jam and dry old omelet every day.no provisions even tho menu says they are available. One man to do it all house keeping cooking gardens. Only another couple stayed and they left like us today very disappointed and upset.will leave poor review also.i am not blaming the staff but they he was not rushed off his feet . management and the owner NEED to improve these problems as it is not at all what bali is about.some people on this site are obviously easily pleased . I travel often and put up with alot but being told false things and not javing clean surroundings is not acceptable DO NOT EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED you have been forewarned .
I absolutely love this hotel. When I go to denpasar, I will sure to stay in this hotel again. +) very big room +) Cozy place -) minimum staff -) Have to improve the taste of food for breakfast -) MOSQUITO!!!!! but lucky the staff is very friendly and will give us an insect repellent.
Attracted by the beautiful garden in Balinese temple design, and attractive swimming pool we returned this year after having visited 2 years ago. The garden and pool did not loose any of it it's appeal. The location is good, although a bit hard to find. Some well known local restaurants nearby (if you fancy the real Indonesian food). Friendly staff. Unfortunately we had to conclude the rooms are getting tired. And so seems the attention for detail from the personnel. At first sight all seems to be okay, but than you discover the sticky remote for the AC and TV, and similar light switches. Not cleaning the crumbs from the table before serving breakfast and many other details. But the worst discovery was the bedlinen. It was not changed. We had dirty and smelly sheets! Concluding: This hotel has high potential, but is lacking attention from the management. I would have scored it much higher if it was well maintained and cleaned. Oh, and when checking in bring enough repellent as the place is seems to be a mosquito magnet
