It was a nice hotel. I search for a non-crowded hotel, and I found this one. Only it is really far away from anything. This is a best place to get relax without noise and suitable for a family with a one year old baby.
Excellent service great people, clean and tidy, EXCELLENT spa and pools , great courtesy bus that runs hourly to the shopper disctric of Nusa Dua, and the beach which offers all kinds of water activities
This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. We were on our honeymoon and stayed here for 2 nights.. the view from our room was spectacular (looking towards the swimming pool). It was a huge room, with a small kitchen, big dining/drawing room and a main bedroom with attached washroom. I was taken aback with the intricate work in the jacuzzi area of the bathroom. It even had a TV!! The bedroom had another tv which was installed on the ceiling (so you can view movie while lying on the bed). The dining area had another tv!! The balcony had relaxing chairs (like the ones at beaches). The breakfast had huge variety, though the variety for vegetarians was limited (understandably so) but it was sumptuous!! They even have a free shuttle service to and from a local market place, and a service for renting scooty if you want to drive around. The only disadvantage of the hotel is that it is far from.the main City so we could not spend as much time in Bali as we would have liked. But the huge swimming pool makes up for that. There is a hidden (non- commercial) beach also around (forgetting the name) which was quite relaxing. Definitely recommend this place!!
We have stayed in several Swiss-Belhotels and have always found them to be of high standard. This hotel was very clean, however it was very old and we had issues with our bathroom as it flooded everytime we took a shower as all the water around the shower went out onto the floor. The toilet tap leaked everywhere - they did rectify this problem. We had a pool access room which overlooked the rear pool, there was a heavy smell of diesel from a motor running behind the hotel which left a black line around the pool itself. The smell of diesel was over powering. The breakfast was cold and tasteless I would not recommend it, better to eat somewhere else. The staff were helpfulI will not revisit this hotel.
Delightful Hotel. 2 beautiful huge Lagoon style pools. The rooms on the ground floor with direct pool access are well worth a few extra dollars. Pros: Clean, well equipped, good wifi, delicious extensive breakfast (fresh fruit, cereals, toast, hot dishes, egg station, pancakes salads, pastries etc) in nice dining area indoor & outdoor on large balcony. Very helpful & attentive staff - nothing is too much trouble. Small shop on site with basic supplies. Lift in building for those who find stairs challenging. Large clean comfortable beds. Money exchange at reception. Cons: A little isolated & too far to walk to shops & restaurants, There is a free shuttle but it only stops at a large overpriced shopping centre (which does have a supermarket) & lots of reasonably priced restaurants. Another shuttle will take guests to Geger Beach but we didn't think it was worth the trip - very over-rated.
This Hotel is comfortable but showing its age. Our room was pretty good. Bed was large and comfortable and upstairs. Downstairs was lounge area and bathroom. Bathroom needs a revitalisation but was clean. There was a leak under the basin in the bathroom with water pooling underneath. Did not particularly worry us so did not report it but it was mopped up every morning so you would think housekeeping would have had it fixed. This hotel is in a very quite area which is what we were after for the first few days of our stay in Bali. If you want to go anywhere you need transport. Best bits. Two very nice pools. Plenty of poolside lounges and shade areas. Pool nice and cool and well looked after. Staff are very friendly and obliging. Not so good. Breakfast is OK but mainly caters for Asians. If you want bacon you have to ask and it takes 10-20 minutes to arrive so if you want it with the rest of your breakfast order it first and wait until it arrives. Restaurant food: it is OK but limited menu. Had the worst broccili soup ever..inedible. Rest of food was OK but we finished up catching a cab to other restaurants in the area for dinner after a couple of nights. Beer prices: Very expensive. A bottle of Bintang was 3 times more expensive here than what I pay in Australia for the same beer. There is a little store next door to the hotel that sells beer for less than half what the Hotel charges. Would I recommend this Hotel. Yes if you want a quite stay for a couple of nights and you get a good price. We come to Bali nearly every year and there are only a couple of resorts we have visited more than once. This Hotel suited our needs for a wind down before continuing our holiday in Bali which is nearly a month this time. It would not be on our return to list, probably more for its isolation than any other reason. Really did love the pools.
I am really disappointed with this hotel, i was in most expensive room with pool exit, room was dirty, smelly and full of moist. All stuff inside was not in good condition, bed had weird smell same as pillows and blankets, also it was dirty. This hotel have 4 stars only because of nice pool. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody, simply its not worth of money. Anyway pool is very nice, you can use it anytime, its good for chilling and relaxing, there is volleyball net and you can ask staff for ball and they will give you one. Reason for 1 star is super bad room condition, and if you are thinking about room with pool its probably better idea not to take it, other rooms are probably better and cheaper.
This was my second visit to this hotel in 12 months and I'm not sure whether I would come back for a third visit. Don't get me wrong - it is a nice Balinese style hotel. It is reasonably priced and you definitely get what you pay for. I like that its outside of the touristic area so it's relatively quiet and the staff are really lovely and helpful but the overall quality and standard has dropped dramatically between my two visits (July 2016 and July 2017). Rooms? Last year we stayed in the Family room. Heads up, those stairs (and the floors) are so freaking noisy. You can hear each and every step that you and your neighbour takes. Fun game? Run up and down with your neighbour. Maybe make a friend for life. This year we stayed on the 5th floor so continued to enjoy the sounds of the stairs. Just a bonus I guess. The rooms themselves are tidy although they seem a little dated. I think there has been some renovation done since I visited last year. Our friend was staying in one of the larger balcony rooms on the ground floor (for the second year running). Last year her room became a swimming pool each and every time she showered, this time it didn't so clearly they have updated the plumbing. The cleaners are accommodating (although I was given some clearly stained towels that needed to be returned ... I mean REALLY STAINED). Restaurant? The breakfast is the bomb. I love it. Remember if you want bacon to ASK for it. It's like being accepted into a cult. Only the special are initiated. Do NOT eat dinner there. It's NOT good. I feel for the staff that work nights there because that restaurant is sub-par if they expect tips I doubt they ever get them. I did eat a burger at the bar in the lobby which was huge and pretty good bang for the buck. The staff in the bar are fabulous. They put up with my drunken antics with good humour ... and they always kept my glass full. They got tips! Snacks by the pool? Err ... ugh! There isn't really much choice to be had. They need to update their menu because half the time they didnt have what you requested. Spring rolls? Nope. They didn't even have fries half the time. Having said that burger was pretty good. Oh! They have special "nights" as well. BBQ night, pasta night, Balinese night. We wanted to go to the BBQ night however when we went down there we were told that it was not on and it was a private event. This is despite the fact that they were advertising the freaking BBQ in their reception that day. That really pissed me off. Internet was okay although was out for 2 days. These things happen. Pool? Both pools fabulous. My only complaint (as someone who recently had a knee reconstruction) there is no handrails to assist your ingress or egress to the pool. There are 3 ladders in the rear pool (which has all day sun) but as I am still recuperating I was unable to get in easily. The main pool (sun in the afternoon) has stairs on the opposite side of the pool so my only option for swimming although I needed help due to the lack of hand rails. My problem I guess not theirs however it probably limits options for disabled or older people. Still the pool areas are fabulous. There are two jacuzzis in the rear pool and the waterfall is lovely in the main pool. Staff? Like I said the staff are friendly and accommodating. Those that cleaned the rooms were happy to come back if you were busy and were very friendly and helpful if you had an issue. I had no hot water and they came and fixed it and then returned to ensure I was happy. Restaurant staff are friendly (but like I said above bleurgh). Reception staff are lovely as are the concierge. Extras? There is a shuttle that goes to the Geger beach regularly. When it is full they will drive you separately AND again the staff helped me and my dodgy knee by driving me in the car if I couldnt get into the bus. There is also a bus that goes to Bali Collection. No kids club or kiddie play area. Overall? Although the quality has gone down since my visit last year it is still a very reasonably priced hotel and you get what you paid for. It has been renovated and its nice and clean. I don't know if I would come back for a third time but I have friends that have stayed here 5 or 6 times now and love it. To each their own I guess.
Get bathroom leakage fixed, bathroom mold. Aircon noise and Internet wireless speed. Thank you for early 5.30 breakfast. Staffs were friendly. Not a bad location. The last shuttle bus from Bali International is 9.15, why can't you make 10.30 pm so customers can relax and enjoy their dinner.
Booked this place based on reviews and was disappointed, it did not measure to any hotel standard, the place is like an old overused hotel that has not been cleaned in ages. Dirty rooms with dust and hair, dirty towels and sheets. Even after you upgrade its the same story. Not sure what the management is thinking. it was terrible. Cigarette smoke smell in every room, even non smoking. The staff is nice and accommodating but give me a break. For the money paid i could have stayed in a much better place like the Nest Hotel in Nusa Due area with 5 star facilities. Food is also average. The pool is beautiful but somewhat a dead zone.I would never return even for free.
