Value for money except for a few issues. The adult pool area was always fully serviced, but the kids pool area needed to be attended to, we always had to walk up a level to the lobby to get service for food/drinks etc which was a real hassle for our 10 night stay (especially since we had to continually do this for the 10 days). Having said that, service was great when we did get it. There was also a continuous odd smell daily, coming from different areas of the hotel, seemed like a plumbing issue. More of a hotel than a resort.
staying at this hotel was well worth it. especially if you need you relax. two big swimming pool, excellent service and good internet connection. having provided a free baby cot was an added bonus for our stay with baby.
We stayed here for 3nights. The overall experience was good. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The service was too good. The pool was clean and neat. Overall an exotic stay within your budget.
Very good and clean hotel. Swimming pool awesome Hotel provide free shuttle to geger beach and bali collection. Far away from cities noisy area. Breakfast options not good for vegetarian people. Overall good stay.
We were booked to stay for 4 nights in May however on arrival our room was not ready so we waited for an hour. When we got to our room pool access we were very disappointed not sure why we had to wait obviously nobody had been staying there it was unclean the air con didn't work and as we found out neither did the safe. Long story short we had to have a new safe installed and they tole us they had to remove the whole air conditioning unti and install a new one. After moving from a 5* hotel to this we were very disappointed. the swimming pool as beautiful as it looks was filthy ringed by old oil and sunscreen, the blind between the bedroom and bathroom was full of mould and the balcony has not been swept the room in general had an unkempt look and smell . We have stayed with this chain before and not been disappointed but this hotel is well below standard. We checked in and out within 90 minutes. I would not bother returning to this hotel
Our stay didn't get off to the best start with our checkin being delayed. Considering we had a wedding to get too there was delay after delay in getting our room ready. There isn't an iron in the room and it would appear that there was only one iron in the whole resort. The breakfast buffet is good but average by Bali standards.... The room is comfortable and adequate for the stay. It just doesn't come with any of the other bells and whistles that other places come with.
The staff are always smiling & willing to help all situations. We were up-graded to the biggest room on the floor with wooden floor boards which were brilliant for little Samantha to play on. The quality fittings are a treat for the room price. The green feel around the breakfast area & pool is sooooo relaxing ..... we will definitely be back at Swiss Bel for our next trip with maybe a day or two at Jl. Arjuna - Swiss Bel Legian. We stayed for 2 nights in room 323 in June 2017. Perhaps we were given this room to keep us away from the noise of tourist groups? What's good: Swimming pools, vegetarian breakfast options, concierge staff. Spa, large rooms, taxi within 5 mins, security Disappointing: Reception staff initially denied request for 4 pm checkout and airport drop even though it was part of our package purchased via hotel website. Finally we had to show the confirmation email for our request to be granted. Smokers everywhere in outdoor seating areas. Spa service is very good but initially denied us the 15% off offer on all services. Even here we had to negotiate to get the advertised discount. Needs improvement: We had mixed reactions after we entered the room. The room was large but had too much odour of moisture as if it had been kept closed and not been used for long periods of time. This room probably had the biggest balcony of all rooms. However, the balcony did not have any outdoor furniture whereas all other balcony had table and chairs! Certainly deserved 4 stars had we not had to haggle with reception and spa staff. This hotel has great potential if rooms are renovated and customer can avail advertised offers without having to haggle.
My mum and i stayed here recently for 6 nights. We chose this particular hotel based on price ($68 p/night Aust incl breakfast), the lagoon pools in the photos looked beautiful and it was in the Nusa Dua area. Location: The hotel isn't really walking distance to anything but there's a complimentary shuttle to Geger beach which runs all day and a complimentary shuttle to Bali Collection. Despite that, a short taxi or scooter ride away to restaurants etc. Price: We found value for money in the pricing for each night and also found the food to be reasonably priced along with the cocktails (for a hotel). Room: We stayed in the superior twin room which is pretty much a basic hotel room with two twin beds, flat screen television, balcony overlooking one of the pools, bar fridge, tea and coffee making supplies and a bathroom with a shower. The room was clean and tidy. Unfortunately this is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in when it comes to noise. You can hear every move and sound from people in the hall way or moving above you. Food and drink: As mentioned above we found the food and drink to be reasonably priced. The buffet breakfast was average, but you get what you paid for with $68 p/night. You have the option to have bacon, eggs and omelets cooked, there was usually Indonesian fried rice or noodles, small pancakes, fruit, cereal and a small selection of pastries. We did find at times that the staff weren't on top of topping up the food despite there being another 1 - 2 hours left for breakfast. We found the taste of the food and cocktails to be good. I loved the laguna fried rice and the Indonesian fried egg noodles. The cocktails at the laguna bar was also very nice. Customer service: I had booked the airport shuttle upon our arrival but when we got to the airport there was no one waiting to pick us up. A lovely Balinese man helped and gave the hotel a call and the hotel stated we didn't confirm. Which wasn't the case as i had email proof. Upon arriving to the hotel there was no acknowledgement or apology. After being shown to our room at 2am we went to use the aircon but it wasn't working. This was frustrating to deal with at this time of the morning but the staff were very prompt at sorting it. A couple of days later our toilet leaked but the staff were prompt at fixing that too. We did end up being offered free airport shuttle when we were leaving and due to me accidentally booking an extra night they did agree to refund us. Overall the staff were always kind and friendly. Hotel: The lagoon pools are beautiful and big and there are two to choose from. When we were there, there was always a pair of available day beds to lye on. The restaurant was tidy and had a balcony overlooking one of the pools. Overall the hotel is recommended for the price and value for money if your looking for a cheap stay. I personally wouldn't stay again due to the noise at night when sleeping and the few incidents experienced.
The chef did a fabulous job with the fish and steak, done to perfection! Highly recommended! Nice to be upgraded from our Superior Room to one with a loft, except that for semi-senior, going up and down the stairs is no fun. It's very creepy to think that someone else is in your room when the next room tenant uses their stair! I believe the steps actually joins to the next room. The sounds of steps in your room makes you think there's a ghost/intruder or invisible person! Yikes!!
