What a place, think I had the best room or apartment in the complex. 3 bed massive apartment with BBQ on the balcony, which I must say was nearly as big as the apartment. Th View was outstanding and we had perfect view of the sunset... Staff were brilliant and always said hello and helped in anyway. The food was great and good selection. The location is perfect as you can walk across road to beach or go behind hotel and you have every shop you may need. Perfect. So it is great for families and adults alike as you got Double 6 club 100m away too.
We are a family of 4 adults and 2 kids was there for 2 nights. The place is very calm and peaceful as it is in a secluded area surrounded by farms and jungle. The downside is that there are many bugs coming out from the sink hole and everywhere else that has a drainage hole. My kids got a bit freaked out. But other than that everything is fine. The lagoon pool is beautiful, but water is a bit too cold to swim. It would have been perfect if the water was warm. Breakfast was just ok. Service was good, the workers there always try to help you with anything u ask or need help for and with a smile as well
Not a central location. Mostly couples. But I went for rest and relaxation! The lagoon villa was exqusite! Quite a deal for what you get! It was quiet and relaxing! Staff was very helpful! Great stay!
Firstly, the location is average. As it turns out, the villas lack much of what is promised. The internet services were down, with no network in a working condition. The swimming pool lights of the Xclusive Villas were broken leaving the guests to swim in the dark. The doors in the villa creak and there is minimal lighting in the villa too. The staff was good and polite. Overall a poor performance and i wouldnt recommend staying here.
Quiet and beautiful villa. Excellent service provided by the staff. But it being surrounded by rice plantation, it is good to bring insect repellent. It is definitely a place which we will consider coming back!
Stayed here for 3 nights for our honeymoon in villa 803. Pros: Absolutely clean n hygienic property Comforting bed Private pool and a big common pool Friendly staff Spacious rooms Greenry all around Peaceful stay Free shuttle to ubud center No mosquitoes Tasty complimentry breakfast Cons: Had electricity breakdown due to short circuit but thats ok.. Bcoz of quick response in rectifying it Wifi sometyms have problem in connection Spa service is awsm but little expensive. Overall we had amazing stay. Worth for what we paid. I would definitely recommend furama xclusive villa and spa And will come 🔙 soon!
What a beautiful place, we stayed in the deluxe villa with our own private pool and garden, the walls surrounding the garden were a riot of tropical plants which gave us total privacy. The earthy smell and fragrance from all the flowers was something I will never forget. The villa was very spacious and comfortable with 24 hour room service, every member of staff we came into contact with were so polite, always greeting you with a smile, the food was excellent. The only thing we did find difficult was, they would only change cash, they would not take a credit card in exchange for cash, we had to walk for over half an hour to reach a cash machine. perhaps they would consider installing one on the complex.
We stayed for three nights in the villas with lagoon. Beautiful villa, roomy, with a private deck on the lagoon, and both a shower and a bath! The staff was really friendly and you could eat in your room the entire day without additional costs. The welcome massage was delightful and we also recommend the bicycle tour through the rice terraces. The city is small and cosy, a lot of restaurants and a must-visit is the lotus garden! You can use the free shuttle for this. Only point of improvement is the wifi- not workable at all!
Breathtaking view. The Villa is private, cosy, clean and beautiful. We love the fact that we have our own mini Lagoon that also links up to a bigger pool shared with the other guests. The staff are friendly and informative. Housekeeping is honest and hardworking. They took effort to ensure we were comfortable during Nyepi because there was no transport available to take us to town. We explored perfectly on our own and we get to see the villagers prepare for the Ogor-ogor ceremony. Best part of experiencing Nyepi, when the Villa is in total darkness, that's when all the stars come out to play. Truly magnificent!
I'll start with the positives... The staff was very kind and helpful. They were always accessible and answered everything with a smile. The grounds were large, beautiful and quiet. The design was cool. The issues... The resort was in need of a significant update. The blackout curtains were faded and had holes in the blackout that showed through when the sun hit it. There were several other smaller issues like a couple of toiletries not being replaced, even though the box was empty when we got there,; door latches looked like they had been ripped open and the doors were either locked or drifting open. We accepted a room upgrade to the FuramaXclusive room. They called it an upgrade, but some may disagree... The pool connects to a larger pool, which was nice considering the resort was nearly empty and we got it to ourselves. However, if you're looking for actual privacy, this isn't a "private pool." The sun chairs were also out next to the public pool, not in our yard, like the room we reserved. We spent a lot of time in Ubud so it wasn't that bad. The last free shuttle back to Furama is at 6:15, so staying for dinner is a bit of a challenge. The food at the hotel was great, but we wanted to eat in Ubud. Getting a taxi back is a hassle and there aren't metered taxis in Ubud. Our driver for a tour, Ketut was gracious enough to come pick us up for a cheaper rate than a taxi. We had him for a tour earlier in the day and he gave us his number to call and came and picked us up from Ubud center after dinner. If you get a tour, ask for Ketut. Finally, a couple other notes... We left some medicine out and woke up with ants swarming it on the last day. The poolside bars aren't open. Rumor has it, you call the front desk and ask for a drink... but that requires you getting out of the pool. This really disappointed me. Overall, not an incredible experience, but the staff was awesome, polite and pleasant. Ketut gave us an awesome tour and was willing to help us avoid getting a taxi late for a long ride back to Furama. If the facilities had a little updating and the things they advertise staffed, it would have been a 5-star experience.
