My partner and I booked 2 nights here. Was extremely difficult to find, contact numbers didn't work, pool was out of order, didn't see a single other guest, didn't serve alcohol, fairly far from anywhere to go/anything to do. Really just a very weird vibe. We checked out early but now Expedia cannot contact them to discuss a refund for the nights we didn't stay.
Good staff nd wonderfull view, i recommend to come nd stay here.. You will got new experience, nice breakfast clean room, but so far from main way. Simple check-in and check out, variety of also not bad, price little bit expensive .. Totally good
The villas are provide an air of spacious luxury in a secluded location away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta, yet with available transport drop to beautiful beach around dreamland area. .all the villas are pool villa , too far to called ocean view , just looks like a sky but the landscape are enough for sightseeing, In classical style, grandeur is foremost yet the functionality within the villas was not necessarily as expected but it's ok , their staff is always standby and anytime you call them , they are friendly enough. it's enough to spend your night or just lay down along day , oh ya they have spa and gym also , you can try that , not too bad
My friend and I booked into this hotel for two nights, but after staying one night we checked out. I would like to compare it to Faulty Towers, only Faulty Towers was a funny comedy show on tv and this was real life. After getting lost with the address we were given and after countless calls to the hotel to help find out way there, we did arrive, albeit an hour later than expected. The staff were pleasant enough but the property is very run down. We stayed in a villa with a pool, however, due to health concerns, did not swim in the pool. The villa had nice views of the ocean, but the rooms were outdated with heavy European furniture and no soul, the garden around the villa was also run down and a little over grown. When my friend and I arrived back from dinner, we found that there had been some strange dark dust that had come out of the air-conditioning system and sprayed all over the floor and bed. At this point we thought, only one night, it really was a comedy of errors. Breakfast is predominately a Chinese buffet as the hotel caters to Chinese tourists, I know this as I live in China. No decent coffee on offer. The main pool was also missing a good 50 cm's out of it and all of the bars that we saw around the resort were shut. We couldn't leave fast enough. In reality, the resort is in need of a very serious upgrade, however it is very clear the owner has not spent much on the upkeep of it since it opened.
Avoid this place.. The pool is empty for 6 months and will not be repaired... People are inefficient We've been robbed during the night.. stolen cameras and cash in the room they didn't do anything but promises and did not refund our money !!
I Think this villa is good. depand on the purpose. when i choose this villa, this is what i looking for : 1. relax ambiance 2. sea view (not a beach side) 3. private pool 4. big room 5. quite 6. fresh air 7. not to expensive. i think i found all of them on the villa and we are happy for that. but, the minus of this hotel are: 1. I have to use the hotel's car to get to the villa (no private car at villa, private car only at front office) 2. the price for food and laundry are expensive 3. the location is far away from any convenience store (have to use car about 10-15 minutes drive), any mall, any shopping center (about 30-45 minutes drive). this place is good for get away, honeymoon, rest, without mall and shopping center. The Closest tourism space only Garuda Wisnu Kencana. The staff are nice, and they upgrade our reservation to 3BR Villa.
My wedding was in Uluwatu last month & we were expecting 100 guests. We arranged group booking rates with Chateau De Bali & addressed our concerns with the negative reviews we had read to which they guaranteed they have improved and that 50 of our guests who had chosen to stay with them (as recommended by us) will have a positive experience. Not ONE of my guests enjoyed their stay. In fact several cancelled the final night booking to go else where- it was just that terrible! No WiFi, the room had a strange "sewage" odour that lingered, the air conditioning in one didnt work, the furniture was dated but worst of all..... ONE OF THE GUESTS HAD USD$400 STOLEN FROM THEIR BAGS BY CLEANING STAFF!!!!!!!!! When I complained and escalated the matter, I was told that they were "investigating" and said there was nothing they could do as there was no "evidence"--- of course there is no evidence; the evidence was the money that was long gone after it was stolen by staff! I have travelled all over asia at different resorts and this has NEVER happened before. Absolutely atrocious! We are so unbelievably embarrassed that we recommended 50 of our guests to stay at this resort and really should have gone with our gut instincts and listened to the negative reviews. You think you're getting a great deal but even at super cheap promotional prices, it is no where near worth it! Do yourself a favour and dont waste your time; no matter how cheap it is. It isnt even that cheap- you can get far better service & rooms for less! Dont ruin your holiday by staying here.
This place is very misleading. There is nothing luxury or medical about these villas. My biggest mistake was not reading trip advisor prior to booking. The place is in the middle of nowhere making you feel very isolated and uncomfortable. We spent a huge amount of money on transport just to get out of the hotel. The place is extremely run down. The main pool is broken and not working. There is an empty run down pool near the gym. When I say gym I mean an empty room full of dust and bugs and a broken treadmill. Our private spa was empty. The villas are not very clean and the towels look like rags and smelt horrible. The restaurant was dirty and the table clothes were full of stains. The staff are friendly but a lot of them can't understand a word of english. This place is not what it makes out to be on the internet and is in serious need of a revamp. It ruined our last 5 days in bali and was very disappointing.
What a disaster. The worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. The biggest mistake I made was not looking at previous trip advisor reviews. I arrived with a large group for a function we had in Uluwatu. We booked a 3 bedroom villa and stayed 1 night which was 1 night too long. Upon entering the villa I was greeted with lovely staff, about the only good thing. I felt quite sorry for them in fact, they were understanding but appeared helpless. We were taken to our 3 bedroom villa via a buggy and were given a tour of the complex. Notably, we went past the public pool which was not working due to a 'leak' (still it appears after 3 years based on other reviews). We entered our villa and the first thing I noticed was a seriously dirty pool with a spa attached to it, which had no water in it-just algae. Inside the villa stank. It had supposedly just been cleaned however the bathroom was dirty - toilet, shower, the stove area was putrid and I didn't even want to put my bags down. The toilet was running and the aircon didn't work. The villa size was incredibly large, but with not much in it - a tv cabinet with no TV, a kitchen with no glasses and a mini bar menu booklet which was empty too. Wifi was available in public places - apparently, however it would never connect unless you were right in the lobby area. On top of this, the doors did not lock - not at the villa entrance nor at the villa door. Picture of security. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable the entire time. The villas are located quite a fair way from the lobby area, which is fine unless you want to leave your villa- good luck trying to get a buggy. You call, they just don't come. When these issues were raised with the manager, they were rude, unapologetic and defensive. To be honest they are running a complete scam. We were told it's an "average hotel" and that's what you pay for. We were told to expect that the things we encountered would occur, finally we were told that they did not believe that what we were saying was the truth. No ownership was taken, no apology, just rudeness. The manager kept saying you get what you pay for but the reality was this place is a joke and seriously over priced. Backpacker hostels are nicer than this place & cheaper. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
We stayed in one of the three cottage villas and it was incredible. The view was breath taking, the service was great and the private pool was very nice. Defn will go again! It is a great place to stay for peace and quiet, not if your in Bali to party hard. It was such a relaxing venue, and the service was A grade, all the staff were really friendly and helpful. And the villas were cleaned every day.
