Loving our stay at b villa seaside. Perfect location, wonderful staff, great breakfast, clean, comfy beds.... the list goes on. What's not to love? Recommend motel mexicola, a stones throw away, great little wine shop, very cheap next to senses hotel, sea circus great Aussie quality coffee, same for Grocer and grind. More than happy - perhaps it's the company I keep!!!
The location of bvilla seaside is the best ! Staff were very welcoming, breakfast cooked in villa was ample and tasty ! Pool and rooms were great. Would love to see some greenery around the pool area, or wall art on huge cement walls.
completely run down villas that smell bad and were dirty! We requested our money back after being there for 2 minutes.. we ended up having to stay a night the pay for another night which was ridiculous.. anything to get out of there was good though at that point. The location is good if you want a noisy main road right outside and loud music ALL day! There is no privacy like you normally get in villas i tried to sunbathe and people including the manager just walk in without knocking or letting you know. We promptly checked out and went to the W.. best thing we ever did.
Stayed one night. Prime spot in Seminyak. Great room, facilities and large pool. Sumptuous breakfast spread. Loud live music from warung across the road but that finished by about 10pm. Will stay here again.
I stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with a friend for one night and loved it. We were taken to our villa and it had a massive pool, an open living area with lots of space and also a garden area which is rare for villas in Seminyak. The big outdoor space made us feel a lot less 'enclosed' and boxed in, unlike in most modern villas around this area. We found the staff and service from everyone to be flawless. The butlers smiled and were so helpful and front office couldn’t do enough. Housekeeping was spot on, as we found the rooms to be really neat and clean and also the outdoor area was well maintained. Although this is not the newest villa it town, we felt it had real character and charm. The location is amazing with walking distance to the beach, restaurants and bars but we also made use of the free shuttle service which was so handy! I am quite sound sensitive and although the villas are in the center of town, there were no major issues with noise, which was one of my biggest worries when checking in. All in all we had a fantastic stay and can’t thank the staff enough. We will definitely be back.
For people that want to consider this place, please think twice before making any decision, it’s expensive yet I don’t think is worth the money for the stay. There are a lot of nice villa in Semiyak which is not so rundown and provide greater service and you will pay about the same price. I stayed in the 2 bedroom villa for 2 nights. There are a few comments that I would like to make: 1. When we just reached the villa at 5pm, checked in and my mum went to the toilet in her room, there were stain on the toilet bowl, when she tried to wipe off, the stain can be removed. I went to my room’s toilet, the dustbin was not cleared, still have sanitary pad inside, I guess this was from the previous customer. Poor housekeeping was done. 2. Noise from the bar across the street was very very bad as well. We couldn’t enjoy a peaceful moment at night when my family want to chill in the yard because we keep hearing live music from across the street. Even inside the bedroom and bathroom also can hear the live band singing, no sound proof system. 3.Me and my family do not fly back at the same timing. I am okay to pay for extra for the airport drop off. Reception quote me 50USD to send my family off to the airport. Again, without a price list and I can easily get a private driver to send my parents off at a much more lower price. Moreover, we did not take airport pick up service from them, which was originally included in the price that we paid, shouldn’t the hotel be more flexible on this, instead of giving me one pick up one drop off, 2 drop off will work as well. I feel the hotel is very greedy to charge us 50USD for just a one time drop off. 4.Overall the villa is very run down. Open area such as sofa, dining table are not properly maintained in the villa, dirty, sticky and dusty, I don’t think housekeeping have really cleaned the sitting area outside. It does not give people a very comfortable feel to sit or lie down on the sofa. Slide door for the bedrooms are not working very well, have to pull very hard to close the door. Mosquitos and ants are everywhere. This villa has a very good location however in desperate need of a refurbishment.
Our family of 7 stayed here for 10 nights in late October and loved it. The rooms are large and with a huge bathroom they are well designed. Great air conditioning makes them a haven. The best part is the pool. Massive pool for a villa and because they are in the sun they are not too cold for the children. Sensational location with a 5 minute walk to Seminyak Square, Eat Street and a 3 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of taxi’s going past means you are always accommodated. Housekeeping were really good as well.
Facilities are excellent and clean. Really comfortable beds. We had a 2 bedroom. Surprisingly tranquil given the villas are right on the street, we had no noise issues at all. Pool and courtyard cleaned and swept everyday! Huge stone baths which aren't really practical unless you're sharing it! Attentive staff but a little lacking in consistency or routine when it came to room servicing times. Highly recommended.
The villa is quite spacious and the bath room and the big bath tub are very nice.also having your own pool ..yet the villas need renovation ..and the pool isn't cleaned on regular basis so was very dirty from the rain ..the management offered the usage of another pool in another villa yet it was unconvenient as it defies the purpose . The management are quite helpful though
We stayed in a 3 bedroom Villa ( Villa 2 ) for 4 nights in mid Nov 2016. We were a party of 6 Adults a baby and a toddler and we wanted the freedom of a villa and private pool over 3 hotel rooms. The 3 bedroom villa had 3 separate bedrooms with ensuites. Each bedroom had a queen bed, TV and plenty of towels which was a nice surprise as most places don't provide enough. 2 of the bedrooms had a huge open space in between them which contained the kitchen with a full sized fridge, plenty of plates glasses and cutlery and a couple of well padded benches where you could sit. But be aware that it is an open area so if you may be surprised by local wildlife especially at night. Nothing extreme just frogs, geckos and a few other critters may pop in to say hello. The kids loved them but I understand that some people may freak out. The 3rd bedroom was a stand alone villa about 25 metres away from the main building. We also had our own 9m x 5m pool which was way big enough to fit all of us in. The water quality was disappointing. While clean enough to swim ( no one had any skins issues or eye issues etc) it wasn't as crystal clear as it should of been. The management need to correct this as it detracts from the overall appeal of the Villa.Overall choosing the villa was the correct decision to make as it afforded us plenty of space and the ability to put the kids down to sleep while still being close around the pool. I so wanted to give bvilla + seaside a better rating but just a few issues prevented me from doing so, more on them later. Firstly ,on the positive side, the staff and communications via email from the property was exceptional. We requested a pool fence, baby cots and strollers, all over a few emails. All correspondence was quick and positive and all our requests were ready for us when we arrived. The transfers airport/villa/airport were included and were ready when promised. Breakfast was included which involved ordering the day before then having 2 staff enter your villa kitchen and cook it, serve it and clear up the dishes. The breakfasts included hot selections, cereals, croissants, toast, juices, jams etc and were of a good standard and good value. The location is brilliant. Virtually half way between Ku De Ta and Potato Head and a 5 minute walk to Eat Street, Sisterfields, Sea Circus, Grocer and Grind and La Lucciola. Having the Villas car available for 1 way drop offs came in handy especially as it was quite wet at night so we used it to ferry us to La Lucciola one night. We also had our rooms cleaned every day and a nightly turn down service. As noted in previous reviews the rooms and furnishings are a bit dated and need of attention and some small areas could use some tidying up to. Example, in our bedroom the toilet roll holder had been removed and replaced about 2 inches lower on the wall but the holes with wall plugs still in, were left. Just little things like that need to be sorted. So as you can see there is a huge amount to like about the bvilla+seaside but you need to be aware of a couple of things that may be deal breakers for you or at least you can decide if you can live with with a couple of negatives. Firstly its on a busy road so the noise may be a problem. My wife and I had the fully detached villa which was closest to the road. I needed ear plugs to deaden the noise. My wife managed ok but did note the volume of traffic and car horns throughout the night. The back 2 bedrooms were better but they weren't silent. And secondly the main area of the villas, as well as the bedrooms, have a marble like floor which gets extremely slippery. The floor ( which is raised about 12 inches from the pool level ) is only a metre away from the pool edge so quite a bit of water can get on it when you get out and go to the kitchen or to sit on the chairs. We put down a couple of towels which seemed to work ok. We also put socks on our 18 month old which also helped. But like I said its very slippery so extreme care needs to be taken by everyone especially small kids. So thats my review of bvilla + seaside. I would recommend it if you can live with the negatives. Its well priced and well located. Final piece of advice, just across and down the road next to Sense Hotel is a Beer Wine and Spirits shop. The price for beer in here is much cheaper than any Mini mart you will find. I recommend you get your Bintang there.
