Nice for a quick stop

I liked having my work van in front of my room (door) I disliked being on the bottom floor when the top had a bunch of animals running and jumping around all night.. I think it was 4:30 in the morning when they stopped. Apparently left there animals behind and I got the short end of the stick. I 'll probably be back but not on the bottom floor. It's cleaned reasonably priced.

It was a nice quite and homey feeling when I stepped inside the room.

Was truly disappointed with this Red Roof Inn as it is a Franchised property that is not at all up to the standards of a corporate Red Roof. Also the neighborhood was a bit dodgy.

All good but it took forever to get hot water & water pressure was low.

Ac worked extremely well and the room was clean and ready. Loud people above but after I spoke with front desk the issue was taken care of. Wifi signal strong but cable was basic.

Air conditioning very loud. Bed comfortable! Lots of noise throughout the night. Tasty morning coffee.

Friont desk reception was excellent. Room was fairly clean and spacious. Nicely appointed with a desk, full length mirror, comfortable bed. This hotel has the largest bathroom I have seen in a hotel. Room had microwave and refer with freezer. No in room coffee maker but coffe was in the lobby.

Room was spacious and clean. Bed was not comfortable.

Definitely a seedy area. I didn't have any problems, but a lot of homeless around. Nice room, and comfortable. No coffee in the room. The lobby was locked at 8 pm when I checked in, and you had to slide your stuff through the window. There was no saftey lock on the door. I didn't have A bad stay, but would never stay there again due to the area.

Good location. $100 deposit on check in I wasn't aware of before. Had 2 young grandchildren and being on ground level was nice. Room was clean. Would have liked a hair dryer in the room and even offer a minimal continental breakfast would be appreciated.

The night staff was great very accommodating. I incorrectly booked a smoking room. The staff was able to change our room at a minimal cost. In the morning we did not have any hot water. When I told the morning staff they didn't seem to care.

My 1st night was great. I was very happy with my room. The 2nd night wasn't very pleasant do to 2 issues. 1st was a truck driver who took up 4 parking spaces. That was not going to be good. The night before I went out and came back to the only parking space left. When I called the office to let them know this, they told me they were aware of the problem and had spoken to the truck driver. But nothing was done. And apparently he's a repeat guest who does this all the time. 2nd was noisy people outside the door from 12am-3am. When I addressed my issues in the morning to the staff, they said they would relay it to the manager. I have yet to hear from said, manager...

Room spacious...beds stiff and not enough pillows. Not inviting at all.

The have the worst rooms not as seen in the picture it stunk and there are cockroaches everywhere called the to have them moves us to another room but there was no other rooms availabe without the same problem we was told just to deal with it by the front desk

Arrived late in the evening, went to our room, slept, showered and lef really early. For the price the room was excellent. Looked nice and clean freshly painted with nice bedding. I forgot to ask for s blow-dryer, but they might have one.

The room was really nice for its price, I didn't expect much but when I got there it was nicer than I assumed it would be. It a good location not far from anything. I would reccomend to stay there.

Stuck in Bakersfield (thanks, Amtrak!) and needed a good deal quick for 2AM. Manager answered the bell in just a handful of seconds and had my keys and paperwork all ready to go. Room clean, large, fresh, and quiet. A light switch was broken and the room is of older construction. 4-5 minutes from Amtrak by taxi.

Thank you for your review we apologize for the noise from upstairs. Our staff is trained to provide guests a downstairs room when they are traveling with a pet but unfortunately some guests don’t register their pets and are given a top floor. Thank you for choosing Red Roof Inn, we will make sure to give you a top floor next time.

I’m so sorry the hot water took a long time. It is very cold in Bakersfield and at times especially when no one else in the hotel is running hot water it can take a few minutes to get hot water. I apologize for the inconvenience.
