It has everything you need for some peace and relaxation, bring a book or your fishing pole and forget about everything else for a while. There's even a daybed on the back porch for an afternoon siesta, and the Wi-Fi has been updated to high-speed Internet.
The space
One of the favorite spots on the houseboat for most guest is our back porch, and I have recently installed Alexa echo pop for Listening to music, just ask Alexa to play your favorite music, and enjoy! The houseboat is ideally situated on the Flint River, connected to Lake Seminole! Bring your boat for an amazing getaway.
Perfect for boating, fishing, hunting, pontoon cruising, sunrise/sunset viewing, or all of the above. The Flint River is specifically known for long winding stretches making it an ideal location for the watersports enthusiast, while Lake Seminole is recognized as one of the premier bass fishing locations in America.
The marina is directly across from the Earl May Boat Basin which has 7 public boat ramps, and a large outdoor amphitheater. The venue is often host to many outdoor concerts and special events (Large firework displays!).

We had an amazing stay on the houseboat this weekend while celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Everything was clean, comfortable, and truly relaxing—exactly what we were hoping for.We especially enjoyed the fishing, spending time on the screened-in porch, and just unwinding in such a peaceful environment. It was the perfect setting to slow down and enjoy the moment together.Darlene was a wonderful host and a great communicator from start to finish, which made the experience even better. We would absolutely recommend this stay and would love to return!

Best Ever

The serenity of our houseboat stay was noteworthy, requiring only our presence. Host Darlene provided everything necessary, including cookware, popcorn, tea, and numerous other amenities too extensive to list. We savored leisurely breakfasts and coffee on early mornings. The screened-in rear porch offered an ideal setting for relaxation, accompanied by soft music streamed through Alexa. The fishing experience was enjoyable and calming, set to soothing music. We particularly appreciated the visits from Abigail, the alligator we named, and her daughter Abbi to the porch, valuing their company without direct interaction. We cannot wait to returned in October.

Life on a houseboat

I am curious about living on a houseboat and wanted to see what it is like. This one was perfect. Absolutely beautiful place, looks just like the pictures, we were relaxed and enjoyed every minute of it. Darlene was very responsive to my questions and the owner and other boat owners very friendly.

Stillness Rules

Nice change from a motel room. Spacious and lots of amenities. Kitchen items if you want to cook in but you are only 6 minutes from downtown Bainbridge. Clean and cozy. Early mornings on porch overlooking water are quiet and peaceful while filled with birdsong. Very comfortable.
