Casa Bambu está situada en 1,2 hectáreas de paisaje tropical con hermosos árboles, palmeras y flores. Una piscina infinita con impresionantes vistas del Océano Pacífico, las playas y el Parque Marino Ballena.

La casa es de diseño tropical, techos abovedados de bambú estructural y maderas duras exóticas locales. Único y encantador - la propiedad se encuentra a una altura de 1100 pies (300 metros) - mantener la casa fresca y fresco durante el día, con corrientes descendentes de las montañas que se enfríe por la noche.

Una cocina completa con una barbacoa de gas, baño, sala de estar, lavandería y patio cubierto, todo en la planta principal. (El patio cubierto es ideal para ver pájaros cantores, loros, tucanes y aricaris mientras visitan el árbol de mango, sin mencionar la vista directa del cuento de las ballenas y la bahía).

En el nivel inferior - un amplio dormitorio principal con cama King size y vista al mar increíble. Ofrece aire acondicionado, ropa de cama de calidad, privacidad y un gran baño privado, además de un vestidor con caja fuerte. Las puertas del patio que conducen a una terraza privada donde su piscina infinita espera.

La casa fue diseñada para parejas - que ofrece la cantidad perfecta de detalle para crear un escape de la vida cotidiana del hemisferio norte. Ideal para luna de miel, celebraciones de la vida personal, observadores de aves, aquellos que sólo quieren alejarse del ajetreo de la vida diaria. Esta propiedad es tranquilo, pero lleno de plantas, aves y la vida tropical!

El acceso a esta propiedad es a lo largo de un camino de la selva increíble. (El hotel tiene un par de tramos de fuerte pendiente a la misma y requiere un SUV 4WD.

Hay mucho que hacer en y alrededor de Uvita; Visita Parque Marino Ballena y dar un paseo a cola de la ballena durante la marea baja. Planear un paseo a caballo en la playa y a las cascadas cercanas con La Merced. Carta de un barco de pesca para algunos de los más sorprendentes de la pesca de orilla que tendrá que experimentar! Alquilar un vehículo todo terreno y cascadas de turismo y aunque la selva. Tome un viaje en barco al Parque Nacional Corcovado en la Península de Osa. Tirolesa, caminatas de observación de aves del dosel y excursiones. Ah, y no olvide el surf! Disfrutar de las habilidades de los lugareños en Playa Hermosa o Playa Dominical al atardecer, para después salir de una deliciosa cena en uno de muchos de los fabulosos restaurantes en nuestra área.

Casa Bambu is in a beautiful location, private, high in the mountains with stunning ocean and whale tail views. The support staff were friendly, communicated well and helpful with check in and check out. The property is clean, well maintained and perfect for a romantic getaway, until you want to go out. The drive up and down the mountain is the only negative. A capable 4x4 is a must as well as 4x4 driving skills. If you want to be way of the beaten path and be able to look down at soaring condors, watch macaws fly by your pool and many other types of birds, listen to the sounds of the ocean surf and watch the beautiful sunset and sunrise sky from your bed or pool, Casa Bambu cannot be beat.

The property is simply fabulous. The furnishings are modern and everything was spotlessly clean. There were local guidebooks available that were very helpful. The infinity pool was perfect for relaxing.

One of the best views of whale tail beach in Uvita. Toucans were plentiful along with many other birds. Our mornings drinking coffee viewing wildlife were amazing and memorable.

Unforgettable Experience

Amazing view of the jungle and whale’s tail from the balcony. Very secluded and clean property. The bird watching from the property was also top tier (bring binoculars, you won’t regret it). AC in the bedroom worked very well for a comfortable sleep. You will NEED a 4X4 if driving yourself up the mountain to the property!

Private paradise!

Very private setting with awesome view. My wife & I stayed on the property for almost our entire visit to Costa Rica with the exception of making a couple of trips down the mountain to get groceries. It made for a great vacation to reconnect, relax, & lounge in the pool.

Stunning views after an adventurous road!

My husband and I thoroughly researched properties in Uvita while planning our trip and are so grateful we found Casa Bambu. This jewel exceeded our expectations! The road up is no joke. We love to offroad so the 3 bumpy, curvy miles wasn't a concern for us but make sure you rent a 4x4 with low range and make the drive part of your adventure it's 15 to 20 minutes through the jungle each way. Casa Bambu is surrounded by lush trees and tropical plants with a clear view of La Ballena below. You feel completely secluded, although you may hear the buzz of saws working on properties nearby along with an occasional motorcycle blending in with the Cicadas. We woke up every morning to Aracari, Toucans and other tropical birds as we enjoyed coffee next to the pool. We ate in most nights to take in the sunset as we grilled fresh shrimp and ahi on the bbq. We'll return again to Casa Bambu for more Pura Vida!

Absolute Paradise!

Wow, wow and more wow! Casa Bambu is a special, special place, and we were so fortunate to spend 6 magical days there. Peggy was wonderful answering my questions and providing recommendations before we arrived (and yes, get the 4x4 - you need it. I’ve been driving Costa Rican roads for 14 years, and the road up is no joke. But it becomes an incredible part of the adventure!) Jorge and Trina (property managers) were amazing and answered any questions we had. And the HOUSE!! The view is spectacular. You feel really secluded in a private, natural, calm, quiet oasis. We loved cooling off in the pool, sunsets on the loungers, morning time on the covered veranda watching the toucans, beautiful dinners in the eating nook and pre-sunrise snuggles in the beautifully appointed bedroom with the spectacular view. You have everything there that you need to chill, relax, cook great meals and connect with nature. If Casa Bambu is available, grab it! You will leave relaxed, re-energized and definitely believing in magic!

The views make it tough to leave

The location lent itself to views for miles and miles and the treetops just off the balcony provided tons of bird watching. Toucans and Aracaris were close by and the occasional maccau flew by shoing off their scarlet red bodies. Bring binoculars so you can take in the colorful details of the toucans off in the near distance...there's a tree they seem to all love.Pay particular attention to the owner's plea to rent a 4x4, you'll need it and be sure to get one with a high clearance as there are potholes. If you've ever driven in the Caribbean, particularly St. John, you'll be at home driving here. Nothing treacherous, just long steep lengths of dirt roads. There is a very popular waterfall with refreshing pools at the start of the road to the home so this site couldn't be more convenient. There was a sloth hanging out there during our week's stay.The home was very comfortable and the bedroom was rather spa-like. The owner and the management team were very attentive. Definitely one of the more comfortable stays my wife and I had. And Uvita is delightful as it is not too touristy and everyone is so polite.

Casa Bambu - Home Away from Home

Casa Bambu was a great home base for our stay in Uvita. The property had amazing views and was secluded yet close enough for us to get to all the activities we had planned. Perfect Uvita Stay

This was the perfect place to spend a few days in Uvita! Located right in the town, it is close to everything but secluded in the hills with amazing views. The house was stocked with all of the essentials, and was a comfortable stay. Communicated with the hosts was great throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend this home for anyone traveling to the area!

Life-changing trip!

From the very beginning, this place, the host and property manager was amazing! Super communicative and was totally open to my many many questions lol! Arriving there, Jorge drove us up the insanely steep awesome mountain to this beautiful property! He showed us around and made himself available for any help we needed during our stay. I I can't even tell you with words how beautiful this place and the view is! There's no way anybody would be disappointed by staying here. Thank you so much for an enchanted experience! Beautiful

Very nice house. Clean, well equipped and a wonderful view! Only the way to get there should be considered. It is not very difficult, but it takes some time to get up or downhill to go shopping or out for dinner. But it is definetely worth it! But it is definetely wortth it!

Casa Bambu is a cozy, beautiful home with absolutely gorgeous views! The drive up and down the mountain is no joke, but you will get used to it after a few times. Just make sure you have 4x4 and hold on! The hosts have thought of everything—the kitchen is well equipped, they have boogie boards and beach chairs, and the towels and linens are fresh and crisp! Our stay was short but lovely!

We didn’t want to leave!

Casa Bambú was so beautiful and comfortable, staying here was a highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. The views are just gorgeous, and we were in love with watching the colorful parade of bird visitors each day. We also loved the little geckos. The home had everything we needed, including a very well equipped kitchen that made prepping meals a breeze. I was pleasantly surprised to even find a set of yoga mats. It really feels like you are staying in a loved and well cared for home. The evening ocean breeze kept us comfy at night, we didn’t even use the AC. Peggy and her wonderful team were very helpful and proactive in communication, getting us settled in and checked out. Extra thank you to Jorge for meeting up with me afterwards to return an item I had left behind! You absolutely need a 4x4 to get there - the road is steep and rocky. We would just do one trip out for the day and got more comfortable with the road each time.
