Wir wollten eine Unterkunft, nahe der Karl-May Spielstätte. Mit dem Turmhaus haben wir das auch voll und ganz getroffen. Nachdem wir Donnerstags die hervorragende Vorstellung besuchten, konnten wir an den weiteren Tagen noch das drumherum erleben. Die Wohnungen sind modern und es gefällt einem sofort. Man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Das Frühstück wird in einer Box am Vortag in den Kühlschrank gestellt, die frischen Brötchen hängen am Morgen an der Tür. Für den Kaffee steht eine Kaffeemaschine mit Kapseln zur Verfügung. Einziges Manko: Die Kapseln wurden nicht nachgefüllt, sodass wir uns am 2 Tag neue gekauft haben. Auch sind keine Teebeutel vorhanden. Das sind natürlich Kleinigkeiten, würden aber alles komplettieren. Und noch etwas: Bei den 20 Uhr Vorstellungen der Karl-May-Festspiele wird es logischerweise nach Ende der Vorstellung ca. 22.30 Uhr etwas laut. 7000 Menschen verlassen die Vorstellung. Danach folgt RUHE ! Wir saßen immer auf einer Bank mit Tisch gegenüber des Turmhauses und beobachteten das Geschehen. Manchmal kam man auch mit dem ein oder anderen begeisterten Winnetou-Fan ins Gespräch. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder das Turmhaus buchen !
