Amazing Ocean View 4bd/3bth Pet Friendly-1 Min Walk to Beach

Spacious Hatteras Island cottage with an expansive great room and two bedrooms that have ocean views.

Under the cottage is a bonus Clubhouse with ping pong, TV, Bluetooth speaker, outdoor games, large outdoor seating area, BBQ area, and a place to put your surfing gear.

The cottage includes public access right across from the driveway to the beach. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance from the house, as well as the Koru Spa. in 2023 guest will have access to the Kinnakeet pool.

Great home to telework from, who doesn't love an ocean view, while working? Our home maximizes the amazing views with our massive windows and oversized sliding doors. From morning to night, the views are non-stop. The early morning sunrise over Avon Pier is breathtaking, the evening sunset over the sound is also quite remarkable as well with its shades of yellow and red. Even after the sun goes down, the Pier light comes on to even more spectacular views.

Please note:
We only provide a welcome pack that includes 1+ Rolls of Toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of Paper Towel, 2 dishwasher pods, 2 clothes washing pods, and couple Keurig pods. We DO NOT provide unlimited amounts of consumables.
Additional consumables that may be needed can be procured at Dollar Tree and Food Lion.

Beach access is right across from the driveway, and it is approximately 1 min walk over the dunes. There are tons of restaurants walking distance from the house, as well as The Koru Spa.

You can walk to many restaurants and shops. A bike is the best type of transportation if you would like to explore all Avon has to offer! There is a bike shop where you can rent bikes within walking distance from the house.

Please note the following:

PLEASE NOTE, THE MANAGEMENT FEE OF $200.00 is FULLY REFUNDABLE if the property is left in good order, and the guest follows the CHECK OUT instructions located at the bottom of the house rules. The money will be sent back to the guest within 10 days of CHECK OUT!

Cleaning fee of $285.00 includes the following:
-Linens (sheets, towels, wash clothes, hand towels, and kitchen towels)-NOT BEACH TOWELS
-Sanitizing the entire house, and cleaning high touch surfaces.
-Basic Cleaning of the house-sweeping floors, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning up sand, mopping/dry mopping floors, cleaning kitchen area, cleaning fridge, vents, vacuuming carpet, and maintaining general order of the house.
-Hot tub cleaning before and after each stay
We do ask that guests clean up after themselves and read/abide by all check out instructions.

During the summer there is a minimum stay of a week required.
During the Summer only, check is on SATURDAY (STARTING 2023) at 5pm, and check out is on the subsequent SATURDAY (STARTING 2023) at 09:00am
The vacation home is heated and features a kitchen and 3 bathrooms, and there's space to spread out with 4 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.

This was a great place for a quick family getaway. The house is beautiful and just a minutes walk from the beach. The gaming table was great and we used it a lot. The hot tub was so nice to soak after a full day of fun out in the sun! We would definitely stay here again!

The owners were amazing with communication and responded promptly. The property and location were perfect! We enjoyed all of the "extras" like the infinity games table, ping pong table, outdoor cornhole and connect four, and other games and amenities. Wonderful family vacation!

This cottage was perfect for our family with kids in different age ranges! The gaming table and game room were perfect for rainy afternoons or taking breaks from the sun. I and my 8- and 10-year-old kids didn't want to leave. The place had everything we needed and more. The hot tub and beach were daily routines and the ability to walk everywhere we needed to go was key. Totally kid and dog friendly. Will definitely try to go back.

Perfect House for Off Season

This is the second time we've stayed here, and it was just as great as last year. The location can't be beat and the views are incredible. Wonderful kitchen and the top floor is great for watching movies (on the big screen), reading, or just hanging out as a family. The owners are always accessible, and are quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The beach is just a minute away, and is one of the best in OBX. We love going in the off season - the weather is wild and most times we have the beach to ourselves. Being able to bring our four pawed children is important to us, and we're grateful that this house welcomes them. We look forward to visiting again next year!

Memorial Day Rainy Weekend

The weather was pretty stormy (chilly, wet) but we still had a wonderful time. We could watch the waves from the house and on Sunday things brightened up and we were able to go to the beach and fish. The house had plenty of games/things to entertain our group and restaurants were close by so that was a bonus as well. Everything was clean and the layout of the home was quite nice for our group.
