The bay at Hamilton Cove has a way of drawing your eye and slowing everything down - wide, salt-bright, and shifting with the Pacific light from morning through to dusk. This is Catalina Island at its most unhurried: a hillside villa perched above Avalon, an electric golf cart waiting at the door, and days shaped entirely around the water below.
The space
The villa is a private, self-contained retreat with its own entrance, sleeping up to four guests. The living area is relaxed and easy to settle into - a flat-screen TV, board games, and both ceiling and portable fans keep things comfortable through the day. When the temperature drops off the water in the evening, heating is available to take the edge off.
Sleeping arrangements
The bedroom holds two beds, made up with full bed linens, extra pillows, and blankets. Hangers, an iron, and all towels and toiletries are provided - there's no need to overpack for the island.
Kitchen & dining
The full kitchen is properly equipped for cooking from scratch. A refrigerator, freezer, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, baking sheet, and coffee maker are all on hand - with coffee provided. Cooking basics, wine glasses, and barbecue utensils are stocked and ready to go. Eat at the dining table inside, or carry your meal out to the patio with the bay spread out in front of you.
Bathroom
One full bathroom with hot water, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and a hair dryer - fully stocked and nothing left out.
Outdoors & shared amenities
Step outside and the shared patio opens onto sweeping bay views with a BBQ grill set up and ready to use. Pool and hot tub access are included for guests. Heading to the beach? The essentials are already prepared: beach towels, an umbrella, a beach blanket, and snorkeling gear. A gym is also available on-site for guests keeping up a routine.
Getting around
The included electric golf cart is the natural way to move through Avalon - relaxed, nimble, and perfectly in step with the island's pace. Free parking and an EV charger are available on-site. The villa's waterfront position puts direct beach access within easy reach whenever you want it.
Good to know
Exterior security cameras are in place at the front door and on the patio facing the ocean. A smoke alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit are on the property. There is no carbon monoxide detector. Wi-Fi is included. A washer and air conditioning are not available at this property.
