Very cute and right in the heart if the downtown area.
Location was great for everything you might need. It’s a older hotel so don’t expect the wow factor. It’s well maintained and the staff was very professional and courteous. Expect some noise from the shops below, but open your window’s at night to fall asleep to the crashing waves.

Room and bathroom was the size of a shoebox,were provided only 1 set of towels and we specify 2 adults were coming
Although it was in a perfect location. They need to focus more on the upkeep of the rooms. We arrived and saw that there was toilet paper left in the toilet along with a floating fake eyelash and a long a long black hair stuck to the back of the toilet, indicating to us that it had probably not been cleaned. The shower dripped constantly. We were also told when we arrived that a Plummer would be coming to fix it that day and never did. The bathroom door didn’t close properly and lock was broken. The blankets were paper thin along with a rock hard mattress. When we were checking out I politely mentioned all these complaints to the front desk attendant, she just said okay and not even an apology. I’m really not one to leave negative reviews, but for the price being paid it’s a little much for the quality of the room. Very impressed with the location but so disappointed in our room. Would NOT stay here again! Pay the extra few buck and stay somewhere else!!!

Can't get any closer to Avalon Bay and the Ocean Boardwalk. Older hotel but great history photos.
The cleaning crew woke us up every morning at 8am. They need to shut up, do their job, and leave the gossip for happy hour. Don’t wake up the vacationers. Also had a “do not disturb sign” and they still tried to open the door. Office staff, very nice
We loved being able to walk out of the hotel right onto the beach! Very friendly staff and got us checked in even early as we arrived prior to our check in time!
The property was clean. The stairs were hard for us to manage but we knew that coming in. They let us use beach chairs for no charge which wr greatly appreciated. The location was perfect.
For $250 a night there was no refrig, microwave coffee maker ...nothing! Room cramped barely ok!
Directly on the beach basically. Perfect location. Our rooms were set in the back so nice quiet retreat. No elevators which was difficult with kids and strollers but we made due. I did not see elevators at any of the beach front hotels so honestly I think it is what it is. Safe, clean, nice, great location, nice staff.
Very pleasant to sit in the sunny courtyard and be out of the wind.
