The hotel is great, always stay here. What wasn’t great is the booking experience. I booked the same day I stayed. The Expedia app automatically pushes you to the next day even after I selected the same day as the day I booked. I know this because after I tried checking in the staff told me it was for the next day NOT the day I entered. Of course I went through a third party and they couldn’t do nothing about it. So I went to book again online and this time I caught it. I signed up for the same day I was staying and it automatically pushed me to the next day. I caught it and changed it. Paid $70 more for the room and didn’t not use my “automatic booking” the next day as I was leaving. So I lost $ 250.00 on the deal. The Expedia app has a flaw and they get you on it especially if you don’t purchase the insurance. Shouldn’t habe to purchase insurance do to their software glitches.

Lake view wins! TV system confounds!

I like everything about this location other than the bizarre TV guide system, which is picking nits, for sure. The channel list only appears on certain channels and you have to wait for it to do what amounts to a slide show of current and upcoming programming. Not user friendly and quite annoying. Other than that, breakfast is decent, the rooms are clean, and if you’re fortunate to book a room that faces north, the view of the lake is a pleasant surprise.
