we really enjoyed our stay here! I prefer a house that feels like a cozy lived in house, and that's what you get here. It's totally stocked with everything you can think of - every time we thought we may want something, we found it already here (thought we would need to run out and get coffee filters, but found those in a cabinet along with a ton of spices; wanted a night light to leave on in the bathroom and there is an adorable tiny lamp that is perfect; realized I wanted a fan on in the bedroom and looked in the corner and there it was ready to go, there is a huge umbrella right by the door, etc). There are also all the "extras" that I miss in a lot of weekend rentals - there are extra blankets, towels, and pillows, side tables and lamps at every bed and seating area, oodles of dishes, enough living room and dining room seating for the number that can sleep in the house, etc. The homeowners also have super cute collections decorating the house - our favorite was the little wooden and leather animals in the living room. The best way to sum it up here is it's just cozy and welcoming, like you're staying at a family members house. Don't miss the kitty or the deer that visit the backyard! This is in the woods and really quiet and peaceful, so you may see some creatures- we happened upon a tarantula (though also in a neighborhood and maybe 10min from a big grocery store, so not totally out of the way of anything).
