This hotel is an old apartment complex. You really wouldn’t know it is there. The gardening is very pretty, which leads to the curb appeal. The interior was nice and the bed comfortable. We did not hear anyone else, so quiet. I would stay here again.

The room was a one room apartment with full kitchen. It was spotless and it is obvious great pride is taken in the condition of the rooms and the grounds. It was also very quiet and made to be like a little community. Breakfast is free and very good. There is also a "happy hour" with free beer/wine and snacks. Service was great! It is about 10-15 minutes to downtown and several of the major attractions and about 20 minutes from airport. There were several pubs nearby as well as some fast food. Highway access was easy. Overall, it was in a great location and a very peaceful place to stay. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend the hotel to anyone!

I booked these because I wanted a one bedroom so that my son could sleep in a separate room. Initially I was pleased with the place although a lot of the furnishings were old. The sofa & bed were fine - that’s most important to me. However I noticed on the first day that when taking a shower the hot water run out. The next day I tried giving my son a bath in the evening- no hot water. I called the front desk and they offered to have me move to another room. There is a miscommunication and we were actually waiting quite a while in the evening. We finally switched rooms because I didn’t want to have to deal with no hot water in the morning. The second room was not as clean as the first. Actually I suspect that the room has not been cleaned since the last stay. The kitchen reeked from garbage left in the garbage disposal the floor was dirty and the bedding did not smell fresh. This really grossed me out. Additionally there are still issues with hot water. We didn’t run out but the water was never as hot as I like it. Overall I would say that the area was quiet, As we were not next to the “Caberet” club next-door, however the pipes are very loud. The breakfast is really nice but we usually weren’t able to get there on time. The staff was very friendly but I would not recommend this place nor would I stay there again. If I can’t get hot water and a clean bed= fail.

Dated furnishings. Comfortable, roomy, great breakfast.

Units are set back from the road. The hotel seems relatively new but is in a less visible location. Each unit is like a small timeshare/condo suite with stove, microwave, full size fridge, etc. The two bedroom units are on the second floor with one bedroom and bath on a third floor (loft). Breakfast provides a limited selection of made-to-order dishes plus a limited buffet selection of breads, fruits, oatmeal, etc. Wifi was free but not highly secured. The hotel has a quiet time policy to insure privacy and solitude. This is an excellent and affordable hotel for persons wanting a place to stay to see the general area but not quite as convenient of direct access to highways and a bit north of a primary places of interest in Austin. (It was close to family we were visiting, so we did not mind that aspect.)

The breakfast included and made to order is amazing

Wow! It felt like I was staying in a secret garden! So lush and beautiful. Food was fresh and healthy and there were even live plants in the room. I wish I could live here.

Room was clean, comfortable, quiet. Location left a bit to be desired, but could have been worse!

I was in Austin for a business conference. With only a 10 minute drive from downtown, staying at Habitat Suites felt like a getaway. There was greenery everywhere, so I felt like I was in the country instead of the middle of town. The front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was spacious, so it felt like I could stretch out and relax. My room was a little dated and it could have used a little paint. But that being said the room was very clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept on at a hotel. Overall I would definitely stay here again and recommend this to others.

Loved my stay there. I will definitely choose to stay here when I’m in Austin Texas

Quiet, peaceful, earth pleasing atmosphere. Pool could have been skimmed more in am hours.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with another couple for 1 week. It's a great way to save on money by not eating out every day every meal. When we got to the hotel the staff was friendly and welcoming giving us recommendations for food. The room was clean. The pool is relaxing but needs to be cleaned more often. Also there are fruit trees that some fruits have spoiled and fallen off the trees and smells like rotten fruit. Other than that the stay was perfect. Very relaxing week in Austin TX

Quiet clean wonderful experience. Peaceful site great value. Hidden gem near the airport. Would definitely stay here again

We had 2 rooms reserved at this hotel. At check in, housekeeping had some work to do on both rooms. Room #1- hair on the sink, used towel on the counter, multiple hairs in bed. Room #2- large yellow stain in sheets, blood on edge of bed, blood on the side of the bed!! The guests should've talked to the front desk right then and there but are traveling on business so decided to leave and get another hotel room. The next day we tried to get our money back. Since we booked through a 3rd party, we tried to get it resolved through them. The manager, Heidi, didn't believe us and after "investigating" she said they would not reimburse for anything, at all and without any type of explanation. After that we called the hotel directly and sent an email with pictures to prove the experience. After not hearing for 24 hours, I had to call again to follow up. Heidi, basically accused the guests of lying and said the pictures were not taken at that hotel. Why would they have any reason to lie? I can understand having pride in your hotel but if someone reports and has proof; at some point you have to take ownership and apologize. She did none of this and wouldn't even reimburse for the second night that they clearly weren't there. She said it was because of a 2 night minimum rule. Well every rule has exceptions especially in customer service. Be aware of this place and make sure that you don't have any type of complaint; they will in so many words call you a liar!

This was a great place to stay. The staff seems to take great pride in their work and it was a restful, peaceful stay!

We stayed in a two bedroom suite while attending a conference in Austin. It was comfortable, the people friendly and the food healthy. I would stay there again.

Easy access from major highways. Quiet Environment They have taken a 1970s era apartment complex and converted it to a very comfortable well maintained hotel. Excellent breakfast with friendly staff. Well run hotel

The rooms need a little updating, but for the time that you're in there they are fine. Love the full kitchen,

Check-in was a breeze. Our 1 bedroom was spacious. Living room area was nice. Pool area was charming. Overall we were very satisfied and would stay here again. Only negative was the breakfast. I was served a hard and over done biscuit, the eggs were not good. I did like the veggie sausage, which is the only thing I ate. They have other things like pastries, but I was I wanted hot breakfast.

The best part of the stay here was probably the breakfast and social. Made to order breakfast felt very farm to table with fresh and local ingredients. My favorite was the open faced spinach and egg sandwich. The rooms are former one-room apartments complete with separate living room & kitchen from the bedroom. The units are a bit dated but are very comfortable. Feels like home. The hotel location is pretty close to the CapMetro bus stops to downtown and the rail which was our main mode of transportation for our trip. I would stay here again if I wanted a quiet get away
