Staff was overall friendly. The phone didnt work. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall. The carpet felt sticky.

Convenient location. A bit dumpy for Marriot Courtyard. Needs upgrading.

Convenient location, close to downtown and free parking

Let’s just say the pictures make this place look a lot nicer than it really is.

Cold water showers are not acceptable. This happened multiple mornings.

Check in and out were easy, but wanted a print out of receipt at check out and they would not provide that because of online check in.

Great hotel room! The room was nice, clean, cold A/C, modern and up to date. The bar area is convenient for a glass of wine or beer. The staff was extremely welcoming. We will stay here again.

I have traveled many years and was a million miler on two different airlines the one place I could always count on was the Merritt. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a Marriott. If this is the new norm I am glad I am getting to old to travel

The rooms are very nice, very comfortable. My only complaint is that I had to run the water for a long time- 5 minutes to get the hot water going. Also the Morning Cafe staff were very slow. Took 15 minutes to get my order. No mutli-tasking, made one order at a time.

The bathroom wasn't as clean as should be expected. There were ants around the room.

We were mostly pleased with the stay. The facility is clean and fresh seeming. Bed was very comfortable. With a car, it is convenient to downtown, UT, convention center, etc. The housekeeping staff was new so there were minor issues. (We hung towels on the towel bars to be "eco friendly" but the housekeeper removed hand towels without replacing them. Also, coffee was not replaced. Hotel staff addressed these issues quickly.

Breakfast close at 9:30 and very limited breakfast choices. The staff at the bar (on 03/16) was extremely impolite and unhelpful when we asked her for advice on where to eat. The pool looked extremely dirty.

The room was ok but without maintenance and an example is also that the kleenex box was in the bathroom and all the tissues were wet, the air con very noisy, we had to turn it off

Staff was rude and the bathroom was not well maintained. Would not stay at this hotel ever again. The room temp was either very hot or very cold. There bed was comfortable

We stayed at this hotel because it was in "university area" it was not. Our room had mold and a terrible smell. They moved us to a new room where the water in tub ran all nightand we woke up to roaches on the wall above our bed. We cut our 2 day stay short despite calling marriott rewards customer service who was not helpful or concerned about the state of their hotel

I came here with my boyfriend to hang out in Austin and celebrate 7 years together and it was a nice hotel. It was clean, the clerk even extended our stay for free and checked on us to see if we had any complaints. It was a nice stay and I recommend anyone to stay here!

We traveled to Austin to take in the Round of 16 volleyball tournament. We wanted a place in the vicinity of Texas University. The Courtyard by Marriott fit the bill. It had a nice lounge area on the main floor. It also had a dining area but we did not use that on this trip. Our room was clean with most amenities we needed. And the price was right!

Everything was great! I do wish they had a complimentary breakfast or a grab and go.

Pay close attention to entry - small and small markings! Good parking. Friendly, helpful staff. This is all I want to say. If it's not enough, I'm logging out. Why a minimum # of words?

Good Afternoon, thank you for taking the time to offer us feedback on your experience with us. I am sorry to hear you didn't have hot water. I have brought your concern to our Chief Engineer and General Manager's attention. They are working on a solution to avoid this occurring in the future.

Thank you for your feedback and glad you enjoyed your stay. All 3rd party reservation receipts come from the 3rd party as payment was made directly with them. Incidental receipts can be printed at the Front Desk. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.
